Client-account decision. A Rye Valley delivery decision about how we run the Project Omega account, made with the client. Client-side people named as deciders are the client’s staff, not Rye Valley team. Scoped 2026-08-30.
- Date: 2026-08-06
- Decider(s): Michael Houck, Johanna (Project Omega), S/Staff (Project Omega), Blake Stewart
- Status: decided
Decision
Blake Stewart takes full production ownership of Project Omega content. Channel split of ~65% Omega account / ~35% Staff personal account. Pre-Series A content priority: posts that land on Staff’s LinkedIn for investor audiences. Series A announcement targeted for September alongside website refresh.
Context
Project Omega is in a deliberate pause to refine messaging and branding before a September Series A. Scope has expanded beyond nuclear fuel recycling to advanced reactor fuel/recycling, power systems, and a new facility. Blake was previously working behind the scenes; this call formalizes his role as full production lead. Founding Journey (Michael’s team) is the agency on the account.
Options Considered
- Maintain status quo (Blake as top-layer editor only): rejected - full ownership needed to hit Series A cadence.
- Equal channel split: rejected in favor of heavier Omega weighting given corporate announcement context.
- Founder-only posting: not viable given Staff’s bandwidth.
Consequences
- Blake sends weekly/bi-weekly content prompts to Johanna and Staff.
- Johanna connects Blake with SMEs (Samantha, Chris, Will) for deeper topic development.
- Podcast transcripts from Staff’s public appearances become source material for Blake.
- Topic areas to develop: space applications, power systems, regulatory/DOE, Navy, origin story, community.
- Areas to avoid/tread carefully: medical (isotopes only if general), safety framing (banana comparison done).
- Cadence: at least one post/week during slow period, ramping toward Series A in September.
- Founding Journey team will sign NDAs to access internal docs/transcripts as needed.
