Cape’s monthly billing (normally on the 8th) gets its November invoice on October 31, so Cape pays for one more month of service through December 8 before it winds down.
Context

Options considered
- Keep the normal 8th-of-month cycle: Cape may no longer exist to pay on Nov 8.
- End the engagement at Cape’s close: loses the client during the window Ben is testing monetization.
Consequences
- Michael invoices Cape on Oct 31 for November; coverage runs to Dec 8.
- Engagement after Dec 8 is open: Ben has not decided, and it depends on whether his creator business monetizes in time. Revisit before Dec 8.
