Decision
Two product changes approved for Megaphone Studio:
- Clients can edit post text directly in Studio (inline editing in content review).
- Client edits must be logged and used to improve their voice profile and inform future drafts.
Context
Ben Gusberg (Cape) gave detailed dashboard feedback in ryevalley-cape listing “I need to be able to edit posts directly” as his top request. Michelle (Draper account) made the same request via studio-draper. Blake Stewart flagged both to the Megaphone channel and Michael approved building it immediately.
Michael’s exact instruction: “make sure we log what their changes are and use them to improve their voice profile + future drafts.”

Options considered
- Keep existing approve/reject-only workflow
- Add inline editing (chosen)
Consequences
- Engineering task for Hermes/Studio: build inline text editing on content review cards
- Engineering task: log client edits (before/after diff) to a voice-learning store tied to the client slug
- Voice profiles should be updated or flagged for re-synthesis after N edits accumulate
- Follow-up: also add inline commenting on post sections (second item from Ben Gusberg’s feedback; not yet explicitly approved but flagged)
