Decision
Keep using NeverBounce for email verification until existing credits are exhausted. Auto-refill has been turned off. Once credits are gone, switch verification to Lemlist (which has built-in verification).
Context
Houck audited NeverBounce usage in ops. Blake S (Blake Stewart) confirmed he uses it to verify emails for ad outreach. Houck initially floated moving fully to Lemlist. During the thread, Houck discovered NeverBounce was NOT on a subscription — a one-time credit refill had been triggered when the first 10k credits ran out, leaving 10k+ credits remaining. Given those credits already paid for, it makes no sense to abandon them.
Options considered
- Switch fully to Lemlist for verification (has native verify capability): avoided while credits remain
- Keep NeverBounce subscription and auto-refill: rejected, auto-refill turned off
- Use remaining credits then move to Lemlist: chosen
Consequences
- Auto-refill is off; no further NeverBounce charges expected
- Blake S continues using NeverBounce for ad outreach email verification until credits deplete
- When depleted: default to Lemlist verification (no new tool purchase needed)
- Login for NeverBounce: admin@ryevalley.co (shared creds)
