Weekly updates for Jeffrey Evans (jeff-evans / Mantis VC) will be sent via email, not Slack. Blake to send the update; CC Steve.
Context
Jeffrey’s team is not on Slack. Weekly update messages were previously being sent to the Slack channel, which they do not check. This decision formalizes the email-only comms approach for this client.
Options considered
- Continue sending to Slack channel: ruled out because they don’t use Slack.
- Email without CC: possible but Steve is a key stakeholder and decision maker for renewal/expansion, so CC keeps him informed passively.
Consequences
- Blake Emal to begin emailing weekly updates to jeffrey@mantisvc.com, CC steve@ (per the client report config).
- Reduces friction for the client and improves their perceived value of the service heading into renewal in ~6 weeks.
