Decision
JOLT will use a separate Lemlist account with Tatem as the sender identity, not the existing Michael Houck account. Sequences are already written and need to go live within 1-2 days from Tatem’s JOLT email address.
Context
Michael asked Blake (account lead for Lemlist/sponsorship campaigns) whether adding JOLT email sequences to the existing Lemlist account would interfere with Emil’s outreach campaigns. Blake confirmed the existing account is set up under the sender name “Michael Houck,” making it unsuitable for JOLT sequences that need to come from Tatem. A new account is the right path.
Options considered
- Use existing Lemlist account: Rejected. Sender identity is “Michael Houck” globally; cannot send as Tatem without a new account.
- Wait for Emil outreach to finish to free up slots: Rejected by Michael. Timeline is too slow.
- New Lemlist account for JOLT: Decided. Tatem’s JOLT email as sender.
Consequences
- A new Lemlist account needs to be created (owner TBD, Michael said he would look into it).
- Sequences already written and ready to load.
- No impact to Emil’s sponsorship/speaking campaigns on the existing account.
- Follow-up: who sets up the new account and when?
