Hockey Stick is folded into Hard Calls. It no longer launches or operates as its own brand. What was the Hockey Stick product becomes the implementation and deployment tier inside the Hard Calls offer stack.
The AI clone expert network, the original core Hockey Stick product concept, is explicitly deprioritized to a long-term big bet rather than a current priority.
Founding Journey Plus discounts remain included in the Hard Calls offer but are no longer the leading selling point.
Context
Michael shared a Hard Calls and Hard Calls Pro restructure with the team in content on approximately 2026-08-08, in his words: “Hockey Stick is being folded into Hard Calls. We’re saving the AI clone expert network product as more of a long-term big bet rather than a current priority. The FJ+ discounts are still included but not the leading selling point.”
This formalizes the directional signal from 2026-08-07, where the same idea was being tested rather than settled.
Options considered
- Option A: launch Hockey Stick as a standalone brand on the previously scheduled 2026-08-16 date, running two offer stacks in parallel.
- Option B: fold it into Hard Calls as a tier, so there is one brand, one offer ladder, and one launch to execute.
Michael chose Option B.
Consequences
- The standalone Hockey Stick launch scheduled for 2026-08-16 is cancelled. The launch-schedule decision of 2026-08-05 is superseded on Hockey Stick timing.
- Hard Calls website copy is updated to carry the full offer stack including the implementation tier.
- Hockey Stick is no longer a separate business in the company brain. Its records are surfaced under Hard Calls, and it is not listed as its own entity in navigation or on the Businesses table.
- Hard Calls pricing across tiers was still to be finalized at the time of this decision.
- Context Farmers, the company brain implementation service, can be treated as a direct upsell once a client completes their Hard Calls install.
