Decision

Shift Megaphone’s funnel from lead magnet model to weekly viral template drops as the primary ad hook. VAs source 3 viral templates per week; Michael and Blake break down why each worked. Add a short essay or “what I’m thinking this week” section. Run ads driving to the template series, then upsell via VSL. Two VSLs: one for LinkedIn, one for X, likely a third for newsletters.

Context

Current lead magnet model is not generating enough qualified leads. Funnel updates (per Luis) are the next priority after sites are done, then content posting.

Options considered

  • Continue lead magnet model: not generating qualified leads
  • Paid community as the hook: higher friction upfront; ads to templates is lower commitment
  • Single VSL without recurring content: one-time asset, no recurring pull; worse for ads

Consequences

  • Two issues per week structured around this funnel (not two different content types)
  • Michael writing VSL scripts this weekend; sync with Blake next week to finalize and record
  • Blake has latitude to adjust content mix per client if it helps account growth
  • Ben adds retainer amounts to client doc so Blake can match output to value
  • Jeffrey Evans (Mantis) likely adding Alex from The Chainsmokers as a client before October
