Decision
Stop producing the podcast (launched October 2024 across Transistor, Substack, YouTube). Replace with a weekly long-form YouTube video. Team assignment: 50 video ideas each, using outlier-finding tools, before the next Monday sync.
Context
Editing vendor’s pricing for long-form plus shorts did not add up once the podcast was dropped, prompting a renegotiation. Michael’s view: “we did it backwards, should have done long-form YouTube first.”
Consequences
- Weekly cadence in place by mid-February 2025.
- Founder-interview format later became the main YouTube project (see 2025-07-29).
