Decision
Use Skool for the membership/community component of Adam Gillman’s build. Beehiiv handles all email (per yesterday’s decision). The two are deliberately separate; the connection between them adds some integration complexity but is manageable.
Context
Michael posted a detailed beehiiv-vs-Skool readout (Google Doc) to the ryevalley-adamg channel asking Adam to weigh in. Adam’s contact (U08AN3MFFSR, appears to be a partner/operator on the Adam G side) replied first saying Skool is their preference and they already have an existing Skool account they want to use. Michael confirmed Skool is the better fit for the offer type, noted it means extra setup and management to ensure the beehiiv-Skool relationship works, and said go-live Monday is still the target (with possible weekend bleed for setup).
Skool admin access: U08AN3MFFSR offered to add michael@ryevalley.co as admin on their existing Skool account. Michael accepted.
Options considered
- Beehiiv community (newer product, peer-discussion focused, simpler integration - no API needed)
- Skool (purpose-built for this offer type, but no API - beehiiv integration requires extra management layer)
Consequences
- Ben (U07561UQ90S) and the build team need to configure beehiiv-to-Skool connection
- Go-live target: Monday Oct 12 (or weekend of Oct 11 at latest for setup)

- Blake Emal and Tatem to begin planning social rollout once the platform is live
