Decision

Four changes approved and actioning:

  1. Bill every 4 weeks instead of calendar month (Hormozi-style). Apply to new clients; do not spring on existing clients - explain proactively first.
  2. Add a day-45 client happiness check: Blake DMs the client for a 0-10 rating, loops Michael in if needed. Cadence: day 30 = set goals (after 2-3 weeks of posting data), day 45 = happiness check, day 60 = go-forward check-in. Hermes to notify Blake on those days with performance stats for the account.
  3. Expand the email sequence between call booking and the actual call - answer common objections/questions before the call.
  4. Send immediate email reminders to people who start a qualification survey on one of the RV sites but do not finish it. Not for existing clients; only for cold site visitors who started and abandoned.

Context

Hermes ran analysis and proposed these changes. Michael shared in ops and tagged Blake Stewart and Ben for pushback. Both approved with minor questions answered. Michael closed with “ok cool I’ll start actioning these.”

Options considered

  • Blake asked whether the billing change should apply to existing clients: Michael said no, explain proactively to new clients only.
  • Blake asked whether day-30 goals could happen sooner: Michael explained it requires 2-3 weeks of posting data to set realistic goals.
  • Blake suggested survey reminders might be better via Slack or bundled into existing email automations: Michael clarified the target is cold site visitors who abandon the 3-question form, not existing clients.

Consequences

  • Hermes should notify Blake on day-45 with client performance stats when the check is due.
  • Billing cycle change requires update to SOW/onboarding language for new clients.
  • Email sequences and survey-abandon triggers need to be built or configured.
  • Existing clients stay on current billing; no retroactive change without client conversation.
