Decision
The Lore daily tech audit and weekly opportunity queue cron jobs do NOT post
output to any Slack channel. All findings, opportunities, and audit results
go through Lore Studio (studio.lorebuilders.com) only. The retired channel
#lore-technical-review (C0BQJ9NPY7L) is permanently gone.
Context
Both cron scripts (lore_daily_tech_audit.py and lore_weekly_opportunity.py)
still have CHANNEL_TECH = "C0BQJ9NPY7L" hardcoded and were posting error
messages to #eng-prs when the bot failed to join the retired channel. Michael
corrected this in the Slack thread explicitly and forcefully (“NO. We DO NOT USE
SLACK for this”, “STOP”). He noted that Hermes built Lore Studio as the
replacement for exactly this reason.

What changes
lore_daily_tech_audit.py: remove or disable the Slack posting path; route findings via the Lore Studio ingest API (/api/ingest/findings) instead.lore_weekly_opportunity.py: same - no Slack output, use Lore Studio.- The
lore-studio-reposkill already documents this channel as retired (added Sep 2026).
Operational note
Scripts are at ~/.hermes/scripts/. Backups of the old versions with the
Slack channel hardcoded exist at
~/.hermes/scripts/backups/lore_daily_tech_audit.py.pre-studio-20260909.
Fix the live scripts before the next scheduled run.
