Decision

The JOLT Track A lemlist email sequence (and supporting webhook infrastructure) was merged into dev and deployed to production on 2026-08-25. Michael confirmed the deployment; Rafael verified it was already live.

Context

PR #176 contained the Track A wiring, lemlist enrollment, and webhook handlers. Michael asked Rafael to merge it via eng; Rafael found it was already merged into dev (likely by Hermes) and already deployed to production. Michael confirmed: “We are taking all our email comms live for the new growth funnel.”

The sequence setup in lemlist was handled by Blake Stewart per a Hermes-authored spec doc. Key setup details:

  • Send window: 8am-6pm EST Monday-Friday, all days (lemlist does not support recipient-timezone scheduling)
  • Friday cutoff: ends at noon on Friday per Michael’s preference
  • Calendar link: calendly.com/d/d2fv-83f-wcx/jolt-strategy-call
  • Hyperlinks embedded inline (not as placeholder labels)
  • Step 2 delay set to 1 day (lemlist does not support sub-day delays)

A test probe (probe@example.com) fired a Track A reply and pause attempt during setup; the 404 on the pause is a known gap when a lead is not found in lemlist. Rafael had LEMLIST_TRACK_A_ENABLED=false during setup; the env var was overridden or ignored - follow up needed on flag behavior.

Separately: Jolt bot notifications firing into jolt were flagged by Michael as “pointless.” Do not post lemlist webhook events as channel notifications going forward.

Consequences

  • JOLT email growth funnel is now end-to-end live: ads > funnel > Track A email sequence > Calendly booking
  • The only remaining funnel-related item is recording the OS (onboarding/overview) videos
  • LEMLIST_TRACK_A_ENABLED flag behavior needs verification - should gate notifications and enrollments
  • Slack channel notifications from JOLT lemlist webhooks: suppress or eliminate per Michael
