Move all Rye Valley sites’ DNS from Squarespace to Cloudflare. Owner: Rafael Bruno.
Context
Michael directed Rafael Bruno in eng to handle the migration across all sites. No specific timeline set in the message, but Rafael was asked to identify what he needs from Michael to proceed.
Note: the Email consolidation runbook (Workspace -> single org + ImprovMX forwarding) references “Squarespace DNS” for ImprovMX MX record cutover steps. Those steps will need to target Cloudflare DNS instead once the migration completes. Update the runbook when Rafael confirms migration is done.
Consequences
- Rafael Bruno owns the execution; Michael is point of contact for any credentials needed.
- Email consolidation runbook (Phase 3 steps) must be updated to reference Cloudflare DNS panel, not Squarespace, once migration is confirmed complete.
- Centralizing DNS on Cloudflare is a structural improvement: faster propagation, better visibility, one control plane.
