Decision
Viral Examples newsletter shifts to one issue per week per platform (X and LinkedIn), with separate funnels and tags in Beehiiv. Each issue = 3 viral templates analyzed and broken down into usable formats.
Context
Previously the newsletter was structured around a single combined issue. Splitting by platform allows separate funnel tracking, platform-native formatting, and cleaner tagging for subscriber segmentation. Micro-essay intro section is TBD based on Blake’s availability.
Options Considered
- Keep single combined issue: Simpler operationally, but loses platform-specific funnel visibility and limits content optimization per audience.
- Platform split (chosen): More operational overhead but enables proper funnel attribution and platform-native engagement.
Consequences
- Ben to draft 13 templatable viral X posts into Beehiiv; Michael adds “why it works” sections.
- Beehiiv tagging and funnel setup required per platform.
- Blake’s availability determines whether micro-essay intro is included.
- Charlene and Rena’s research now feeds directly into this weekly cadence.
