Decision

Launch a new VSL-led funnel for the agency (Megaphone). VSL script is finalized; Michael and Tatem record competing versions to compare engagement, then go live on site by end of week (Aug 1) or Monday Aug 3.

Context

Existing call volume needed a higher-quality, higher-conversion path. Research into ClickFunnels approaches and advice from Hunter Hammonds (ran Assembly, scaled multiple agencies) informed the direction. The current Calendly setup also has a no-contact no-show problem; iClose is under evaluation as a replacement to capture phone numbers upfront.

Options considered

  • Continue existing funnel without VSL: rejected, too low-intent.
  • Launch VSL without Tatem recording a version: rejected, testing both versions gives better data.
  • Switch Calendly immediately: deferred - iClose needs evaluation first.

Consequences

  • Tatem drops best client screenshots (first name + starting point) into the thread for ad assets.
  • Ads team builds creatives from those assets.
  • VSL page includes written case study blurbs.
  • Michael investigates iClose to prevent future no-contact no-shows.
