Dylan Condensa: Hey Ben. Hey, how are you doing? Doing good, how are you doing? Cool, appreciate you jumping on. I just want to quickly sync on Next Steps and all that good stuff. So we sent over an email, you know, we’re cool to do. I think 5K to start and see where that gets us in terms of building out a list. And then we’ll kind of review that list and see where we want to go from there. Dylan Condensa: Does that all sound good to you? Is there anything that we need, you know, from our side? Ben Ornstein: So what I’ll do is I’ll still, yeah, I’ll just reach out to a bunch of recruiters in the network. Ben Ornstein: And one thing that would be helpful to know is, like, if you could send ahead of time, like, any context that would be helpful to the creators and myself. Dylan Condensa: I remember we talked about that yesterday. Ben Ornstein: So the context, like, what can I tell creators ahead of time? Like, what am I allowed to say? Ben Ornstein: Even just first, like, reach out to them. I don’t need the exact copy and verbiage yet, unless you want to send that. If you want to send that, like whatever you want to include, totally fine. You can also do that, you know, Monday. For sure. Ben Ornstein: Yeah, because my goal is, how it’s going to send out the, it’s his birthday, so it might send out the Pandadoc tonight or tomorrow. I’ll also start doing the outreach regardless, because I want to get us going, so I’m going to do that tonight. That’s my, that’s my goal. And then hopefully I’ll have an initial list by end of day tomorrow. I’ll have people filtering over the weekend I’m sure, maybe even on Monday they’ll filter. Is there a time on Tuesday that you want the posts to go live? Both when like, well, yeah, when are you going to use a credit network, what time and then what time do you want? Dylan Condensa: So we’ll do that at probably around 10 a.m. Pacific time. Ben Ornstein: Either 9 or Pacific time. Dylan Condensa: So that’ll be on our side, on NVIDIA’s side. And we’ll use the megaphone boost at that time. And then in terms of the standalone posts, I think like between then and noon Pacific time would be preferred just to make like I wanted to go out on the same day because we want to fill the timelines up but I don’t want it to be too late in the day where people have like logged off of work so I think 12 Pacific time is like the cutoff ideally would be like around the same time as we’re putting stuff out yeah I think I think that makes sense on our side. Ben Ornstein: So 12 Pacific, so like 3 p.m. Eastern, okay. Yeah, so between 9 a.m. Dylan Condensa: to 12. Between 12 and 3 Eastern, okay, got it, got it, got it. Ben Ornstein: Okay, I was converting my items, so. Okay, so I’m going to leave that down. Does that make sense from your perspective? Dylan Condensa: You know, should we go earlier than that on either side? Ben Ornstein: Your target audience is U.S., right? Like that’s where you want us to meet. Usually we recommend like earlier in the day, like Eastern Standard Time, either early morning or early afternoon. So you also want to get that like California West Coast audience. Noon is totally fine. That’s 9 a.m. Noon Eastern, right? So it’s like 9 Pacific. Ben Ornstein: Noon is a good time. That’ll work. Okay, cool. Dylan Condensa: Yeah, because a lot of our customers are in California. And so we’re going to be putting out our stuff and then like pinging a bunch of people to have them repost kind of like as an internal network. Don’t want to do that at like 5am their time. So that’s kind of the constraints we’re working with, but that sounds good. And then in terms of, so my next steps for you is to send you any context that I can. So we have the video that is mostly, it’s mostly, so it is pretty much finalized. There’s just a typo in the version that we have right now. And so the production firm is just fixing that. But I can send over the current iteration, because it’s the smallest typo. It won’t really change anything. And then just send over the final one at a later date, just so they have context ahead of time. Dylan Condensa: And then I’ll send There’s some guidelines From Nvidia side on how they want this to be worded very specifically Not like, you know They have to write this exact copy but more so like this is the positioning And it needs to like adhere to this positioning. Ben Ornstein: So I’ll write guidelines for that That’s exactly the kind of thing that would be really helpful to send over to them. If there are specific things that you don’t want them to mention, framing, specifically how you’d like them to frame it. Honestly, it might be helpful to just get the finalized video because I don’t want them confused to have the wrong one. Yeah, that makes sense. Dylan Condensa: Okay, so I’ll wait for the finalized I’ll send over positioning guidelines. Dylan Condensa: I can include ahead of time, since they won’t be getting the video, just a brief description of what the asset looks like, Very helpful, sure. I’ll be like, I’ll send that on Monday. Ben Ornstein: Cool, yeah. You also had mentioned there was a list, you have a list of that you’re already working with, if you could send that over as soon as possible, so that I know who not to even reach out to. Dylan Condensa: Yeah, so there’s really, I mean, there’s two main ones that we’re working with currently. There was one that we reached out to that we decided would be a better fit for a different announcement. So we held off on that one. But that one will also be kind of ruled out for this one. So there’s three kind of like, I guess you could say like do not reach I can just put them in the chat in this meeting. Yes, you have that. Dylan Condensa: Still check. Dylan Condensa: Okay, so I just sent those over in the chat. Everybody else should be fair. And then the two that we’re working with specifically are Alex and Lior. It was like a finalized one. That’s a good, I would say baseline profile. Like that’s kind of like the ideal, I guess, like influencer profile. Both of those guys are X. Engineers from like Google and stuff like that. They own a newsletter. They’ve kind of like pivoted over to making content. So anybody that has like some sort of reach with AI researchers, you know, developers in that space, I think that would be preferred as opposed to like just a like, I guess, So we have a ton of like AI content creators, like they’ll create content about new features in ChatGDT or, you know, we have a ton of those. Ben Ornstein: Do you want to completely avoid those ones? Dylan Condensa: Yeah, so what I would say is like our preferred is people who have like the appearance of being a professional in the space. So these guys are ex-AI engineers. That’s a great example. That’s the preferred. Those are really hard to find. So that’s the target, but it’s not the hard requirement. People that do content that’s feature watch, they’re keeping people updated on new features for those kinds of tools. Tools that are going to be used by machine learning developers in particular is preferred as opposed to just like software developers. But that can work too as like the long tail. So that’s kind of like if I were to rank those like our ideal, our middle and our like bottom. Ideal is like the native ones, like the XAI engineers. Our middle one is people who do like the key people updated on product features, but specifically features for like machine learning developers. And then bottom is, you know, all AI tools. So that whole AI space. And if there’s any others that I’m like missing on there that are kind of within that network, open to that as well. We’ll just kind of like take a look at the list and see what makes the most sense. Ben Ornstein: That’s definitely helpful in terms of like out to. Outside of AI, is general SaaS, startup tech, people that have audiences in those, is that interesting or not really? Dylan Condensa: I guess it would depend. I think that would be significantly less interesting. The only caveat is if it was somebody who, like somebody at like a news publication that has like credibility or something like that. Like if it was somebody who worked at Forbes, like I’d be all over that. But if it was just like somebody who’s just reporting on like SaaS stuff and they’re more of an influencer, I would say like stay away from those guys. Ben Ornstein: We’ve got founders, other founders who aren’t necessarily like AI founders, but they’re in SaaS. I would say that’s also less preferred like in kind of the same breath there Unless it’s like a really high-profile one Okay So yeah, if you can send me Yeah, the guidelines what I’m allowed to like send to the to the perspective creators. And yeah, anything else I mentioned, I’m sorry, it’s been a long day, I’m tired. I think that is, that’s all I’ll need for now. Dylan Condensa: Yeah, so I’ll send the description of like, what it is, and kind of give them context there, and guidelines, what to what not to say, any particular way we want to frame it, and then I think I’ll have that video by Monday at the latest finalized, and I’ll send that over as soon as it’s ready. Ben Ornstein: Perfect, yep, and I’ll mention to the creators that they’ll have a video asset to use on Monday. And basically I’ll just send that to the ones that you’ll end up selecting. So my goal will be by Monday, well, honestly, I’d like to do, I’d like to say by end of day tomorrow, but I know people, there’s going to be a decent amount that don’t respond until the weekend or even early Monday morning. So we’ll all have that list of creators for you. I can send an initial one tomorrow, end of day tomorrow, and then like keep adding to it because without Yeah, I think that’s preferred. Dylan Condensa: So like if we can have some data to work with tomorrow, so we can start to think about it. And then as more come in, kind of add it in there and let us know when there’s more to look at. Yep, that sounds good. Ben Ornstein: That’s how we normally do it anyway. So that works. And then I’ll start the outreach tonight to the creators. Ben Ornstein: Well, once I get, as soon as I get the context for you about how I should make money and stuff. Ben Ornstein: And yeah, and I can start. That sounds good. Dylan Condensa: I’m trying to think if I missed anything. Dylan Condensa: That should be good. Ben Ornstein: If there’s anything else, feel free to email. But I was just messaging with Al right before our call. So I think he will be sending that Pandadoc. Assuming a 5K budget. But what I’ll do is wind up sending like the entire list of the creators that I think could be interesting. And then once you select, you’re like, hey, I’m going to work with this, this, these 20 people. You’re like, OK, here’s the budget. I’ll send that one invoice of the sum of the amount. So it’s only fucking great if it’s 5k, then that’s great too. So yeah, that’s all I want to quote. Dylan Condensa: OK, that sounds good. Dylan Condensa: I will touch base with you tomorrow. Sounds great. Ben Ornstein: Have a good one.
