[Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: Can someone say something? [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Yeah, we can hear you, Sammy. [Michael Houck]: We’re just, we’re just all collaboratively, collectively without discussing it, trolling you. That’s it. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Great Wednesday afternoon activities. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Alrighty. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Um, I think we’re missing money marketers still. Yeah, that’s the only one. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: How do I make it? It’s just, they can see us. You can’t see us. Yeah, that’s what we do. Yeah, there we go. Absolutely. OK, let me ping Ty real quick. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: I’m sorry. Hmm. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay, let’s go ahead and hop into it. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Biggest update on our end is we are having another live, oh, sorry, I just got a response from Ty. He said he can’t get in for some reason. I thought I changed that permission. Sorry, Ty, hi. Didn’t mean to lock you out there. Okay, just to jump into it from the top, our next live stream is going to be on the 29th. Noel is not going to be hosting at this time. He is off-boarded that to Jack. Has anyone met Jack here so far? I think we met Jack. Okay, cool. Jack is Noel’s chief of staff, right-hand man, catch-all, and apparently also his body double now. He’ll be hosting We’re gonna do a dry run with him this time next week to make sure he’s prepped for that call with Sakura I don’t yet have the script for that or the slides. It is going to be about perplexity. So Money work or sorry megaphone. I’ll get with you guys when we have more information about what specifically it’ll be about So you guys can get some socials before that? We’ll be recording it and then sharing it with you guys after so we can get those recaps as well. Hopefully we can do a blog about that live stream as well, Money Marketers and TDM. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: I think Jack. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: You want Jack to write it? Yeah. Okay. Not you guys. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: We’ll have Jack write it and then send it over for some keyword optimizations. I like that plan. Take that off of Money Marketers. That’s the biggest thing. The other thing, if you happen to see it, okay, if you don’t, we had a couple of placements in PowerWires again, and they popped off. We had a a ton of registrations come through as a result of it, so that was very exciting. Megaphone, if you want, I can send over that copy if you want to try and use some of it on socials, because it was like very high conversions, that might be beneficial. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: Anything else on our end? [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: That’s what I had. Digital, can I start with you first for your updates and performance? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Sure can. [Kali Mackay]: So in terms of updates, we are waiting just on a couple rounds of blogs to come back for optimizations. I believe they are the March and April blogs. I’m sorry, the April blogs and our May blogs. So as soon as they’re written, you can just send them back to us and we’ll optimize them I’m over for publishing. And aside from that, we just have a few content elevations that we’re working on for some of our manuals and pages. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: Those are not in that new content, though. I do have one huge update, which is we are very close to being through a very significant design refresh of the website. Which is super slick. I think Anthony and team have seen it. And this has gone through several different hands of getting kind of the SEO touch and then the design touch. So, but the goal is for that to come out this week. I know that that update caught a lot of the, I’m not sure if they’re all the way through. Sammy’s been working to get some of the content optimization from the last round through on the kind of existing look and feel of the site, and then some have been blocked up and are all batched in this kind of major update. So I know we’re meeting at the CRO team next week, too, to get some last notes on that. But that’ll be coming out, so we’ll get kind of like a fresh coat of paint on the blog and the manual and every other page of the site. So it’ll be great. I think the exciting stuff for this team is kind of the new initiatives we started this year, the blog, the manual, the live streams. Those now kind of carry through the whole site. So on relevant pages, we’ll show relevant blog posts. The manual will be linked throughout. The live streams will be linked throughout. So all this content that we’re making, it’s just resurfaced. That’s one thing. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Yes. I was going to wait until we talked to the CRO team. And made sure it was up to par, because I know we’ve gone through several iterations of feedback. But that is coming soon, hopefully, hopefully very soon. We’re meeting with David after this to kind of see final stages. And then, obviously, I know we’re chatting with you on Monday about that on PDM. Yes. Very excited for that. [Kali Mackay]: Very exciting. [Kali Mackay]: And yes, we’re looking forward to when that goes live and seeing the impact. I think it’s great, especially in combination with getting the authors and the dates and all those things updated on the blog, too. All good things. Yes, and then we’re slating to have our monthly reporting presented on Monday as well. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Yes, I sent you a message to check if you can make the reporting call, but if not, I can take that one. It’s the 30 minutes before. I’m trying not to move that call again, but Jameson’s calendar is crazy, but I can just take that one and fill him in as well, so we’ll see. No problem. [Kali Mackay]: If we have to do it that way, that’s totally fine. We can always record and we’re happy to follow up with some of the key takeaways with the larger team as well too. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Absolutely. Ty, I think I already asked you this, but combining some of the content from the PDM recommendations, that all happened already, right? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay, cool. [Ty Aravazhi]: Did you submit that’s compliance? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Oh, sorry, you’re muted. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: Yeah, OK. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: Great. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Sorry, was that it on your end, Kali? Yeah, that’s all I have. [Kali Mackay]: Daniel, did you have anything extra here, Anthony? I think we covered everything. [Daniel Cifuentes]: We’ll be sharing my declarations and topics for next content calendar. I’m trying to share them tomorrow. [Kali Mackay]: OK, awesome. We’ll get those in even earlier then. Perfect. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Oh, one other thing, y’all. I heard from Valenta, who does the polls. He said that all of those updates that were outstanding on David Corny’s end that was for the polls are done. I haven’t checked. I just haven’t had a chance to. But if you guys can rerun that audit or you’re clear to, supposedly everything should be done. I think it was two. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: I think that the major problem was everything was H1. Through the beehive portion of the site, so. Gotcha. [Kali Mackay]: No, we’re happy to go through and QA everything and check it out and make sure it’s all buttoned up there. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Thank you for that update. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Awesome. OK. Yeah, that was all the technical site audit was the last document that they were working through, I think. Technical SEO checklist from February. That’s what it was. So those are ready to rock on our end. OK. Any marketers updates? Pretty quick updates. [Ty Aravazhi]: We were finally able to get everything compliance approved, as you saw in the most recent message from us. So all four April pieces have been compliance approved and published. And we are well underway with the May pieces. We actually, on our side, have finished one of the three and are just reviewing that. And then we’ll, I mean, we’re sending everything together as a batch now, but yeah, that’s where things are at. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: And then you’ll send it back to PDM, they’ll optimize. Do you have a date? I know we agreed, when do you plan to do that? [Ty Aravazhi]: I believe the date here, let me pull that out. I think we’re looking at the 23rd of May, 21st or like between the 21st and 23rd. I know it’s between then, but yeah, that’s when we can expect it to, yeah. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Awesome, that works. Anything else on y’all’s end? No. Awesome. Megathon? Yeah, so a fun update from us. [Michael Houck]: So we had goals around impressions, engagements, followers, posts, and replies by Friday, like this coming Friday, and happy to report we’ve already passed four of them, and the fifth one should be hit by the end of this week as well. So our goal was 100k impressions by mid-month. We’re already at 125k, so doing pretty well there. And similar, we’re 25% ahead on followers as well. So doing great. Big shout out to Ben and the team for being on top of the hops there. A couple other small updates. Actually, one flag first. So Jameson, you mentioned the design refresh. We’d love to get new banners for the four social accounts and also the logo obviously updated on the Augment accounts as well. So we can touch base on that, but you just send them through Slack should be great. And then Jacob is out this week still for paternity. He’s back next week. So we’ll have him back then, which will be great. And last update is we actually just hired another content an Ops person who’s going to work under Ben, because we’re seeing good response, good growth of followers from these proactive engagements that we’re doing. So we want to ramp those up. So if someone new joining the team, you’ll meet him in Slack. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: His name’s Andrew. He’s great. Sweet. The reason Jameson got very excited and started doing those hand motions when you were talking about social graphics is because we are in the middle of doing an audit of the existing social graphics and just creative graphics overall and are trying to Do an overhaul of those especially because we are coming out with a new site a new theme. It’s really sleek However, david piccorni does not want to be doing social graphics So we’re gonna have someone on our team put them together and hopefully guys some really beautiful things to work on And go from there. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: Is that did I cover your excitement? Yeah coming on Go ahead jameson. Sorry i’ve had Related but different topic here to stay in this one. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, I think just um would be great to um, have a process where we Uh, if we have a social post that we think would pair really well with some kind of custom chart or branded graphic or something like that Uh that we can just loop in uh, whomever that ends up being Um proactively so we can get it scheduled ahead of time would be uh would be great I think would add some add some value add some pop to the to the post I’m thinking the exact same thing. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: I was kind of inspired by I think it was Hive. I just saw some Hive posts, just some Hive white paper thing. And it had all these charts, and they looked really nice, and it was a really nice article. And I wanted it. I’m very jealous. So I was like, yeah. So yeah, I’m not sure exactly who that designer is going to be yet. We’re figuring it out. We’re going to do the thing. [Michael Houck]: But we are cooking it. [Michael Houck]: I think it’ll be great. I think it’ll really help this stuff pop off. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Do you happen to have any graphic designers that you have a preference for? We’re in the middle of also going through this process, but if you have someone you recommend, I’m interested in hearing about that. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, I have two folks that I would consider potentially good fits, depending on what you guys are looking for. So I can send over just like DLD more on both of them, and you let me know. Or if you want intros to both, happy to do that too. This may be the same in a different version. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: in the short term, like, I don’t know, 60 days. Augment plans to hire full-time layout and UI designer as well. And these may or may not be the same person or different people or separate things, but it’s an open conversation. How many designers and which of them should be in-house and which of them should be at contractors is happening at this moment. [Michael Houck]: So, yeah. Option is a is a studio that we work with for some of our branding and some other stuff. They’re very good. They handle everything from product design to branding for us. And you know, the person who runs it, she was like a senior designer at Carta and a couple other startups as well. She’s very good. And then we have like an individual who we work with in contract sometimes as well for like shorter term projects that could be a could be a good bridge fit. So I’ll connect you Sweet, love that. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: My new topic is a question I think for, I don’t know, kind of the three of y’all. What’s our rate right now on getting memes through compliance? How do you guys feel about that process? [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Yeah. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Are you gonna explain the background to us? [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: I’m getting some chief compliance officer level, on my end, so. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: They’re not loving the memes. [Michael Houck]: We definitely anticipated that the memes would be, the hit rate would be lower. For context, we actually did just bring someone dedicated onto the team to handle memes, and he’s very funny and very good. So until now, it’s been Jacob or Ben and myself basically coming up with them, but now we have someone who’s dedicated So the flavor, I think, might get even a little bit spicier with some of them. So you let me know if we’re going too far. But this guy is very good and he has a really strong track record. So Ben, if you want to speak to the maybe hit rate we’ve seen so far, you’re closer to that than I am. [Ben Ornstein]: The process has actually been pretty smooth where I kind of, at least for me, it has seemed like, so I kind of, you know, I submit the post into Hadrius and they give comments on whether it’s approved or what would need to be added. And then I kind of resubmit it and when they give me the go ahead, then that’s when I know it’s approved. So from my end, from my perspective, the process is relatively smooth. Sometimes it takes a couple times to resubmit the corrected or compliance approved post back to them for a final review. So sometimes it’s a couple steps, but When it is approved, then it seems to be good. So the process isn’t too much for me. And it’s not too bad. [Michael Houck]: Jameson, what are you guys seeing on your end? [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: I don’t want to tongue it down if we can. But I’m interested in the dual experiment. So we’ve got this parlay on, which is like, one, do memes resonate with the audience? Are memes a way to get attention for us secondary marketplace in this day and age with retail investors, right? And then I have like meta experiment on top of that, which is like, how many of those can even get through the compliance department, right? So like, I’m interested in the results of both because one, you know, might be true, but not the other. And then we know, like, I don’t want to react to compliance complaining about about the amount of time spent on it, yet, unless we have learned that it’s, like, it might be worth it, right? So, like, I wanna keep our eyes open if, you know, like, my question would be, do they come out still being funny and interesting after three turns through Mark? And then do those resonate? And, like, if all of that happens, like, and it’s what we have to spend some time getting it right, and there’s just, they’re gonna reject some, and, like, it could still be worth it, but at some point, maybe you guys are like, you know, it’s not working. So that’s all. [Michael Houck]: I think now that we have Alan, who’s the meme guy I mentioned now that he’s our meme Lord, I should say I should give him his proper title. Now that we have Alan on staff, let’s let’s do a couple rounds with that. So maybe not next meeting, but maybe two meetings down the road, we’ll have enough data points. And we can we can prepare like something more formal, like, here’s the percentage that are getting through, here’s how means you’re performing versus other types of So I have like a full full report for you guys then Yeah, so just the context behind this is they kind of relate what the heck is with these memes guys from compliance and they’re like looking at us like What are you doing? [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: And those are the ones that we said could go like I know that one Trump meme even all was like there’s no way this gets approved I just I want to strike the right balance of not wasting y’all’s time to make memes that are like yes, hello Hilarious, but never gonna see the light of day. I’m also making sure that We’re still staying funny. It’s a fine line to walk and Every day’s a war with mark. I mean, you know, he’s so nice. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: I miss her breeze I’m a little bit more bullish right like if we do get one Really good one through right, you know, it’s like you’re just you know, it’s an experiment and so let’s evaluate it like one, you know We can do we can go back and do like a retroactive report on our end, just see like what is getting through. [Michael Houck]: And then I’ll have a conversation with Alan just to see, okay, given this context from what’s worked and what’s not worked so far, let’s work within this realm. And then, you know, basically over the next four weeks, we’ll operate with that and kind of can see how it does after that. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: I think that’s a great idea. Yeah, that’s really what we’re looking for. And there is another conversation that we had with Dieter and Mark more holistically about marketing and seeing if there’s any wiggle room and, you know, that’s a continuous conversation. But I know that they had a big onsite and they were all together and some conversations around the memes came on, which is all we wanted to flag. Excited to see that big reporting as well at the end of the week and excited to see the reporting from PDM on Monday. So this is our first like real significant reporting. Also, I apologize to all of you. Our report on our end has not really moved because of our amplitude. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: Yeah, I do think we’ll get segment through any minute. And however, it will not be historic. I have this idea about chatting with Kali and Anthony and seeing if there’s I don’t know, URL’s level of confidence in getting, building a conversion report that is useful for kind of like the day that segmenting amplitude is live, you know, back using, you know, just kind of clever look at the URLs in Google Analytics is basically like someone make it to the page after the sign-up page type of thing and seeing And maybe you guys have already done that because you’ve prepared a report I’m not sure but that’s kind of that’s kind of the reality of where we’re at and now I am getting a manual export from engineering of the Activity in the platform. So that’ll be like our probably through May I catch solution and then in June on we’ll have I think start capturing everything in segment now So, you know have a first full month in June of that full funnel in one platform. So I don’t know. I’ll put that out there and let me know if you want to talk more about it. Yeah. Right now we’re doing a little bit of piecemeal reporting across the board, and that’s just kind of been manual. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Any reporting you guys have, obviously I know I’m getting some Friday and Monday. I’ll put that together on my end to see what we can put together. But yeah, like Jameson said, we’re a bit of Frankensteining are reporting at the moment until we get that full segment. So very, very excited for that to happen. Um, anything else from any teams that need to chat or want to talk about anything? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Cool. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Well, stay tuned for more info on the perplexity event, more info on Jack. If you haven’t met him, you’ll see his face coming soon and Love it, let’s keep going, keep cooking.
