[Ben Ornstein]: Hey. Yo, what’s up, man? Pulling together everything for the Tuesday send. Almost done with that, I think. Cool. Sweet. [Michael Houck]: I have a couple calls after this, but I’ll probably get to that around, I don’t know, between 3 and 4 Eastern time. So I’ll let you know if there’s anything need to change, but, um, cool. And then, um, yeah, I guess like for next week, you can do these on, on Friday probably. Um, so that if I have time over the weekend to write it, I can do that. Um, you can also, if you want, like, if you have time to do it, you can get like a week or two head too, but there’s no pressure to do that because I usually write it, you know, the day before, a couple of days before anyway, but if you want to, you can. [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah, no, I mean, if I have time and I find things, then I’ll, yeah, absolutely. [Michael Houck]: Yeah. I mean, just, I think Max had some like notion spot where he dropped like stuff he wanted to use later as he saw it, I guess just like get in the, some kind of process for yourself of, um, like when you see something interesting, just like drop a note of it somewhere to come back to for later. [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah. Yeah. I’m already doing that on Slack a little bit. [Michael Houck]: I have like a little section on Slack that I do that. Cool. Yeah. I use, I have like three different Slack channels that I have like to do’s or like notes to myself that just always live in the, the message bar that I never send, obviously like in the, in the fundraising support channel, I have my like daily to do Oh, that’s funny. [Ben Ornstein]: I use my direct messages to myself. [Michael Houck]: I use that one all the time. [Ben Ornstein]: Oh, that’s smart. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, that’s smart. [Rafael Bruno]: Yeah, that’s my favorite channel to use. [Michael Houck]: What’s up, Rafael? Hey, guys. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: I’m okay. How about you? Yeah, good. [Michael Houck]: Good, good, good. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Oh, man. [Rafael Bruno]: Hey, Ben. Is do you have something under your eye or is it? [Ben Ornstein]: It must be getting bigger if people are starting to notice it. I’ve had this thing on my eye for like, Three or four years now and it’s starting to get like a little bit bigger here. I’ll get closer. Everyone can see it. I have no idea what it is. It does not blur my vision. The only one who complains about it who says like, things gotta go. So maybe when we get married or something, I’ll get on our health insurance and then get it removed or something. That’s my plan. That’s my plan. You can do it for the, for, for the wedding. [Michael Houck]: Surprise her. Yeah. Yeah. That would be good. [Ben Ornstein]: That’d be a good idea. Um, but yeah, it doesn’t bother me. Um, but yeah, it’s, yeah, that’s bad. If you’re just noting this, it must be getting getting bigger. [Rafael Bruno]: I found that funny because, uh, I had a lot of things that it didn’t bother me, uh, when I was single, but when I got married, like I had to buy you, um, several pairs of socks because my wife didn’t like my old pairs of pairs of soft socks. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yeah. [Rafael Bruno]: Yep. Makes sense. [Ben Ornstein]: But yeah, no, it started out as this little, little dot and it’s gotten bigger and bigger. It gets in my vision, I’ll actually be like, okay, this thing, I got to get rid of this now. [Michael Houck]: That’s kind of my plan. Makes sense. Okay. Well, Sid said he’s joining in a minute, but let’s just get started. He can catch up when he gets here. So let me share my screen here for Linear. OK. So let’s see where we’re at. So obviously just starting a new sprint. We had a few things come over from last sprint. I think it was like 3. 3 tasks, two of SIDS and then one larger is 11. That’s just sort of ongoing. Should finish hopefully this week. But overall, I think pretty nice job last sprint. Good completing what we wanted to. So hopefully we we can do the same this sprint. And keep it rolling so. OK, so I think high level one of our goals for this sprint, like a big goal should be. I mean, really, we have. We have two main goals for this sprint. One is like wrap up these bugs that have been lingering for awhile, right? So the scraper issues which Rafael is working on. On this week and also the weird like notification bugs that are just driving me absolutely insane. Those just need to be taken care of ASAP, so that’s that’s priority one. Priority two is launching content queue. I think we’re at a point where the integration is almost done before you can correct me if I’m wrong when we get there, but integration should almost be done by now and so we should be able to test. As we head into next week and ideally launch next week. So we get it out basically in February. If we can do that, it’ll feel like a successful, successful sprint. Other things that are sort of on our plate are the new account shelf project on Mehul’s side and the settings page on Sid’s side. And then, Rafael, if there’s anything left for, it looks like there’s one task left for campaigns. Let me check if there’s more. Okay, it’s not letting me click into the project. Only one. [Rafael Bruno]: I just need to finish the setup campaign flow and then it’s done. Okay. [Michael Houck]: It looks like there’s a lot of front end stuff that needs to be done too. So maybe we can talk about that. That’s probably higher priority than the new account shelf, which we keep pushing that back. But we want to get this campaign stuff done ASAP. Let’s start, I guess let’s start there. Rafael, if you wanna talk about your stuff for this sprint, and then we’ll move on to Mehul. So right now, you don’t have a ton of stuff in the sprint. Obviously the ones that are are pretty decent sized. So give me a sense of how you’re feeling about the sprint and what we can do here. [Rafael Bruno]: Okay, so the biggest priority is to solve with a problem that we have with the scraper. I’m working closely with RISC-I since the beginning of the day with that. Hopefully, by the end of the week, we hope to have some satisfactory result. While I’m working with that, when I have time, I will shift with finishing the setup campaign flow. It’s almost done. I just need to test some stuff, make sure that everything is OK. Then I can finish that. And the other thing that I need to do is to test all the endpoints to make sure that there is no problem. So I can pass them to my host so he can integrate with the frontend. So these are the tasks regarding campaign. I have one task to test content queue after Mehul and Sid finish their jobs. And after I do all of that, I have one task that we need to separate them into other small tasks. It’s this one of move out Kafka from Upstash to AWS. Offers a Kafka service, but it’s paid. And since we want to save money, I was thinking about using two services that AWS offers that are free. And we can move our flow from Kafka into those two services. But it will take some time, maybe one week. I think I can do all of that in one week. But just letting you know. [Michael Houck]: So for the Kafka thing, What is the cost if we just do the AWS paid version? And two, how much time do we add on by doing the two tools versus just migrating to the AWS Kafka version? [Rafael Bruno]: The two tools, I think I can do that in one week. I just have to test and make sure that everything is working. The cost, I have to find here because I need to know how much we use and the price and get the estimation for the month. [Michael Houck]: Right. But I guess my question on the first part is, if we just move from Upstash to AWS and use Kafka, we just use the paid tool in AWS, the other option would take a week. [Rafael Bruno]: How long would that option take? Oh, maybe one or one day, maybe. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay. [Michael Houck]: So we’re basically adding a week of work. So I think let’s let’s value that appropriately. Let’s think like you should come back and get the cost per month and then we can make a decision from there before we before we do that. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: OK. [Michael Houck]: OK, two other two other questions or two other things to call out. So on the scraper stuff when we talk about like what a satisfactory result there is, satisfactory result is 100% of engagements being correctly classified within the correct amount of time. Obviously, you know, issues can happen on one off cases, and we’ll solve them and things like that. But the default should be 100%. And the reason that this is even more important now, is, you know, obviously, until now, we’ve been very reliant on Rena for this. And now she’s going to be out, right for an indefinite amount of time, we don’t know how long that’s going to be. Be. So high level of urgency to get this off of Ben’s plate because he has higher priority things to be doing, but we obviously need him to do this in the short term. So yeah, I think this is why we never want to rely on one person for something in general because crazy things can happen like this. But yeah, high, high level of urgency to solve this this week. So that’s far and away. Top priority. Okay. I think that was the only thing actually. The other one is something for Sid when we, when we get there. Okay. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Hi guys. Hey Sid. Okay. [Rafael Bruno]: Let’s go to Moho next. [Michael Houck]: So Moho right now, I know you’re working on integrating content queue. Give me an update on where we’re at on that. And then also the account shelf. Maybe we bump that and bring some of those campaigns front end tests into here. Just give me a sense of like how much work is they’re left on campaigns? [Mehul Jariwala]: I guess for a content queue, things are in place. There are a few modifications which I suggested to take a look at from seed. Once content type, I need a frontend to be identified on the content type. And one more thing is, when we try to create a request, or when we try to apply for Megafon Studio, have the flow where we select the context of the call so do we have a API or do we need to store that information in somewhere that or I was not clear on that part like are we going to store that information somewhere or what we are going to do with that so you remember let’s say before booking apply for mega open studio and set in the for the call, we were capturing the information about like, I wanted to build, I wanted to grow my audience, LinkedIn, Twitter, and then we have, do we have a budget of the content creation? And then once they press the continue, we’ll swing the calendar invite for them. So those are information also you need to capture it, right? [Michael Houck]: Yeah, we want to store those. And another thing would probably be we want to send in the Slack channel when that happens. We wanna show the answers that they put in a notification, probably in the Megaphone channel or the Megaphone Studio channel maybe, one of the two. Probably the Megaphone channel actually, because at that point they haven’t actually signed up for anything. So yeah, put it in the Megaphone channel. Yeah, and we wanna store it in the database too. [Mehul Jariwala]: it do have the API that created so that is the only thing and then the request flow when user when user created the request, we have the draft request and approval flow. So that is something pending to integrate API ready for that that is pending to integrate in UI. So I’m the API is ready. [Sid]: I’ll share the API with you one thing. So as you say, do we need to put it in the megaphone channels, because there would be in at that point, right? It would be from the dashboard, I believe. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, we should send it in the megaphone channel. Okay. And just put in their answers along with their their email. And and that’s probably that’s probably enough. Okay, fine. I think that is done. [Sid]: I’ll just add the answers. But yeah, maybe I’ll share the EPA with you so that you can start on the front end thing. [Michael Houck]: Okay, and then who on campaigns, just give me a sense of like how much is left here looks like it looks like a lot looks like more than I thought. [Mehul Jariwala]: Yeah, campaign is it’s very, very lot of thing is pending on campaign side because we were left in middle, and then we jump in on the country. [Michael Houck]: Right. Okay, so here’s what we should do then I’m going to remove all of this stuff. From this sprint, I’m going to put this like, you know, two sprints down the road. And what I, what I want to do is basically you can go through and add some of these to this sprint and then put the rest in the, in the next sprint. Okay. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yeah. [Michael Houck]: Sounds good. Cool. Um, okay. Uh, Sid, you have, uh, wow. A lot of stuff. Uh, maybe I don’t know if we’re gonna get to all this in the sprint, but, um, Yeah, give me a give me some context here. [Sid]: Yeah, so first thing that I’ll be completing today is 1239. There are some changes requested by me who will for the front end for the payment thing and as well. Few other things so that will be wrapped up and then all that. So from the two things I’ll be picking up the high priority ones first. So whatever is the high priority, I’ll first sort out those tickets and then go go to the medium and then go to the least priority tickets. [Michael Houck]: Cool, yeah, I think most of these are just medium priority, so you sort of can pick and choose as you go. My recommendation would be to get the ones that are not related to the settings page done first, so this one up top here. I’ll just I’ll move these to to high priority so it’s it’s more. [Sid]: OK. So all the non non settings related tasks. Are the first priority. Yeah, correct. [Michael Houck]: Just take care of these first and then move on to the settings page. After that we’ll have made a good dent on the backlog. I think we spent like at this point like two and a half or three sprints on on backlog stuff and we’ve made a lot of good progress. So want to call out the nice you’ve done on that. [Sid]: Right, right? I think we can get a lot of good things from the backlog. [Michael Houck]: What’s that sorry? [Sid]: I mean, I was just saying we we cleared a lot of good things. Good number of from the backlog and a lot of them. Yeah. And finally we were able to clear them. [Michael Houck]: We’ve still got a lot, but it’s a lot less than it was, uh, you know, in December. So nice work. We’ll probably do another, another backlog push. Um, I dunno, sometime in, in, uh, late March or April or may or something like that later this spring. Um, yeah. Nice work on it so far. Um, one, one question I have for you is, are there any lingering bugs that we found from inner circle that haven’t been solved yet? Because I’d like to, I’d like to announce that via email to, to all our users. So want to get a sense of, have we found anything that’s still lingering there? [Sid]: Yeah, so there was one issue that was raised by Rafael, but I think we are pretty good with that. So at this point, there’s nothing pending. We have been testing back and forth, at least I’ve been testing back and forth and I haven’t found anything breaking on production. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay, great. [Michael Houck]: Then what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna write up a launch email tomorrow and we’ll send it out to everyone, both existing users and churned users and leads who haven’t signed up yet. I’ll send it out to them on Wednesday. And so we should expect to see a large influx of people giving it a try. On Wednesday. So just keep a keep a heads up for that. And Rafael, I may loop you into to to get that email segmentation done on Tuesday afternoon. [Sid]: So just like one question, are we able like do we add those UTM parameters in the link to track where they’re coming from [Michael Houck]: Yeah, we can, we can do that. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: That’s fine. Okay, cool. [Michael Houck]: And then if I just look at this, Yeah, Sid, you have 34 points in this sprint. I don’t think we’re going to get done 34 points in this sprint. So when you get to the settings page stuff, just once you have a sense of how much is realistic to get done this sprint, you can just move the rest of them to next sprint, and that’s fine. [Sid]: OK, sure. I’ll try to complete as much as I can. Except for the settings page, my goal will be to complete as much as I can so that for the next sprint, there’s just a bunch of things, story that I can focus on. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, I think by next sprint, we should be able to finish up the settings page. So that’ll be able to launch in, in March. [Sid]: Yeah, sounds good. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay. [Michael Houck]: Ben, anything? Oh, actually, yeah, there’s there’s one thing in here for Ben to actually two things. So Ben, we want to create new command bar nudges for the cam page and the content queue slash create page, what we’re calling it. Um, so when we’re in testing for actually this, this one probably be, be next sprint. Um, when we’re in testing for the content queue page, just, uh, keep an eye on that and create a, a nudge for it. [Ben Ornstein]: And then I’ll, I’ll review it afterwards. Yeah. So we only have one nudge left, uh, free one. So is there, is there one of those two that you would rather have? Because I remember when we looked at all the other ones that we currently have, you’re you’re and I agree with you when you said, I don’t know if we want to remove any of those. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, we’ll see. We’ll make that decision when we get there. It’d be better to have them all for now. So sounds good. We’ll have to make a hard choice. Okay, last question for me, Rafael on the Kafka thing, I just about this, do we have a time limit on that? Because I know that, I think we got an email from Upstash about when that’s getting deprecated. [Rafael Bruno]: Yes, I think we have until the first week of May, if I’m not mistaken. But it’s like April, May, our time limit. [Michael Houck]: OK, can you triple check that just to make sure it’s not March? OK. OK, sounds good guys. Let’s have a good week and Yeah, I guess that’s it for me. I’m still working on the Craigslist thing. I had to prioritize some other stuff last week, but I’m getting back to that this week, so we will try that out instead of a account if I because they’re they’re costing a lot right now. Uhm? Okay. Any other questions for me guys? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Nope. Okay. [Michael Houck]: And just a heads up, Ben is going to be taking back over the intercom customer support stuff. So when you see messages coming in the CX channel, that’s, uh, that’s from him. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay. [Michael Houck]: Sure. Okay. [Rafael Bruno]: I’ll see you guys soon. So guys, anything, uh, related with the technical sides that you want to discuss? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: No, no. Okay. See you guys. Take care.
