[UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Oh my gosh, my eyes are so hot. Hey. Hey, what’s up, everybody? Hey, guys. [Sid]: Hello, guys. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: OK. How’s everybody’s weekend? [Michael Houck]: Good. It was good. [Ben Ornstein]: Went up to Boston, saw some friends I haven’t seen in over a decade. [Michael Houck]: So that was fun. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Oh, wow. Yeah. [Rafael Bruno]: I don’t know. If you guys have the same thought, but it seemed like, because in 2013, I was finishing high school. And for me, it was like, oh, it was a few years ago, but it’s like more than 10 years. Definitely feels that way, I agree. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, I get that feeling sometimes too. Actually, as I get older, I get that feeling more and more often, which is weird. I’m like, yeah, it’s been like eight years, nine years since I joined Uber before I even started my own company or anything. This is like so crazy. It’s crazy. Let’s dive in because I got to jump a little early at the prep for a podcast episode after this. So let’s dive in. Okay, so the big story, you know, we know the big story, I flagged this at the end of last week, progress, we’re not where we wanna be on the things for the sprint, which I think puts groups, the launch of groups at risk, I would categorize it as. So we can talk more about that in this call. But we definitely need a big week. Obviously, there’s some bugs that came up at the end of last week, I know that, but we gotta make progress this week, because we’re, you know, I don’t expect us to hit 103, as I mentioned at the beginning of the sprint, but right now we’re on pace 34. So we gotta, we gotta, we gotta make some progress. Okay, first, I will throw it to Sid since groups is number one thing right now. So Sid, do you want to tell me about where you’re where you’re at here? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yeah, sure. [Sid]: So I’m working on this 1056, which is almost completed. I’m just wrapping up a couple things. And I’ll take up another groups related ticket, which is for boarding 1051. And yeah, I think apart from that, I will also be able to complete another two tickets 593 and 872 within the sprint itself. Sorry, 877. I think broadly I think those three will be the next target. I’ll try to wrap them all those three they seem to be medium sized. So I’ll try wrap them up within this print itself. And of course, if they’re done early, I’ll take up other other tickets, I think 879 would be the one after that. So I’m looking at these three tickets now. [Michael Houck]: Okay, so these, actually, all of these here are part of the pricing structure. So we think that we’re going to be able to get 877 done and maybe 879, but not 872. Is that correct? [Sid]: So I’m checking the ones that we’re going to move to the next sprint. [Michael Houck]: Okay, okay, fine, fine, fine. [Sid]: Yeah, then you’re right. Is, yeah, that will be moving to next print 877 as well. Yeah. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay. [Michael Houck]: So move them. And then you can just turn this one to in progress when you start this one, because it’s the first test. [Sid]: It’s like sort of related to that. [Michael Houck]: That’s I think just a thread, right? Like thread or the story ticket. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Kind of Yeah, exactly. [Michael Houck]: Exactly. Fine. Fine. Okay, cool. Sounds good. [Sid]: And I share the list of copies that I need for the email stuff. So I’ll share that with you. And once we get there, I’ll then just implement it. Cool. Sounds good. [Michael Houck]: I think we are 12 days away from the end of the month. So we’ll have some stuff to do next sprint for this as well. But let’s try to let’s try to get it done by the end of this month so that we can take the second week of next sprint to do testing and launch. [Sid]: Yeah, sure. Agreed. Okay, cool. [Michael Houck]: Rafael, how about on your side? Where are we at? [Rafael Bruno]: Okay, on my side, I’m trying to work as fast as I can on bugs and on the referral project. I would say that the majority of the effort that I would need to do on the referral project, I already done. I already modified the onboarding and a bunch of other use cases to adapt to referrals. Right now, I just need to finish some stuff, make some tests, and let Mehul know so he can integrate with the things that already exist on the on the front end. At the same time, I’m working on the on the two urgent bugs one related with with sending broadcasts from the same caster. No, it’s the issue where an amplifier should not engage twice in a row with the broadcast from the I’m investigating that, and then I will jump into the task of the overspent budget. Yeah. Okay. [Michael Houck]: I mean, those are urgent, so we need to do those. But yeah, I guess the only big thing left for referrals, I believe, is integrating with the actual referrals page. Raquel’s already done the front end. We just need to hook that up on the back end. And then like, you know, this stuff I think should be simple. We’ll probably need copy for these emails and stuff like that. But actually setting it up should be just deep linking into their email client or something like that. Yeah. Okay. What about these like non referrals page or groups or groups tests? There are a couple here that are older bugs. There are a couple of small changes. Yeah. Those I was postponing after I could finish everything related with referrals. So we would not delay on launching that feature. Yeah, makes sense. My question is just like, should I take these out of the sprint or not? Right now, I don’t have an idea. [Rafael Bruno]: But I would say that I will not be able to finish everything. But I don’t know. How much I would be able to finish. [Michael Houck]: Okay, I’ll leave these here for now. Can you give me a heads up by, I don’t know, end of the day on Wednesday of just what we should expect in the spread? Okay. The highest priority things are anything from groups, referrals, or the pricing structure change, because that’s technically part of the group’s launch. [Rafael Bruno]: Okay. [Michael Houck]: I’ll actually move this up. Oh, it’s already medium, so it’s fine. Okay, and then we have these in progress here. Okay, cool. Should I move this back to to-do? Are we not doing this right now? [Rafael Bruno]: Yes, you could move it back. [Michael Houck]: And then anything update on this WhatsApp issue? [Rafael Bruno]: Yeah, this issue, I found the reason of why we have so many messages is saying that we are not able to deliver. It’s not something like a bug that is blocking us, like it’s preventing the users for sharing message. But there is an issue that I have to fix, but this is not urgent. But I found the issue. This is not something that is harming us, but it’s something that needs to be fixed. That’s why I didn’t move the task. [Michael Houck]: So are people getting their messages? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yeah. [Michael Houck]: So there’s no actual bug? [Rafael Bruno]: No, there is a bug. The bug, how can I explain that? The bug is related with backup creators, because sometimes the same amplifier is being selected. So people are getting the messages. And sometimes, like, you were selected at the first time. And then at the second time, you were selected again in another in another amplifier. So you’re not receiving the message because you receive them the first time. But that leads to the budget not being 100% percent fueled. Yeah, this is the issue. [Michael Houck]: That that makes sense. Let’s let’s try to knock that out, because any issues related to algorithm or anything that’s influencing budgets are very our users are very sensitive to. So we should be OK. Cool. Thanks, Ben. Take us away where we where we are. [Mehul]: For my side, what I was doing is I was just trying to make some modification because we need to support the table with the nested structure. So I already figured it out the things I’m just making them a few modification. And then we go down that part as well, but I have a question like, so in that you mentioned like we need to add a chart as well. Right. So are we, do we have a chart for the, for the same inner circle stuff as well? [Michael Houck]: Um, like what, what chart are you referring to? [Mehul]: So if you, if you click the in progress, uh, one zero four two ticket, yeah. Here you mentioned, uh, as well as add a chart or something. [Michael Houck]: So, um, what did I mean by that? Um, I don’t think we need to do this because we have the, we have the, uh, the group details page that already shows us how many messages we sent to our inner circle. So I think my thought here was we would show a chart that is like, oh, you sent this amount of broadcasts to your inner circle, or you’ve got this amount of engagements from your inner circle. But you can track that already in the group details page for the inner circle. So I don’t think we need to do this. [Mehul]: I think you can skip it. No. Okay. And probably I’ll finish this today. I just need to implement the same on the broadcast tab as well. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yeah. [Michael Houck]: Sounds good. What about, I guess, what’s left in, well actually first, are there any blockers on, I know the Strapi thing. [Mehul]: I guess about the, this one, we still need an API for in-progress. 1042, we need an API to get the data. And 605 also, we need an API to check whether that user has a set up a inner circle or not. So most of the things I was just waiting, I guess it is already working on it, but yeah, once done with the changes, probably I have to integrate with the actual functionality part of it. So I haven’t done the UI part as of now. [Michael Houck]: Okay, cool. [Mehul]: I guess just work closely with, with Sid on those. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yeah, correct. [Mehul]: Um, that’s the goal. Uh, apart from that, I’ll take a look at once that those changes are done, I’ll take a at the next set of activity. Probably be going to the new account self-drawer. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, I would say that the payment stuff is higher priority. I’ll move this to high. The account shell is, you know, we want to do that. But we can probably reserve this to next sprint without really much of an issue. So I can move that now. If we get to it, I can move it back. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay. [Michael Houck]: Um, let’s see, but, but for payment, right. [Mehul]: We still need some support from the API side. I guess, uh, Rafael really mentioned that he is working on that. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: What’s that? [Mehul]: Uh, for payment stuff, right. Uh, we need a support from the backend, uh, side, right. Right. [Michael Houck]: But you might, I mean, maybe you can complete the front end. [Mehul]: Yeah. Okay. Okay, cool, yeah. [Michael Houck]: And if there’s things that you’re blocked, you can just leave it in review for next sprint when we get to it. Okay, perfect. Yeah, that makes sense, yeah. Then it’s good. I’ll finish that, no problem. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Cool. [Rizwan Hameed]: Okay, Rizwan, what about on your side? Yeah, so the engagement URL changes are done, but I haven’t deployed it yet. My plan is to test these changes the weekend, not in the weekdays. So nothing gets disturbed, at least. And the in-progress thing, so right now I’m working on the changelog things, like implementing the logs, so we can send different types of exceptions or alerts to the different Slack channels. So we can investigate it accordingly. And plus the thing that is in progress, the investigation thing, there’s nothing nothing much left on my side. If you can check the ticket, I have added a comment in the this ticket. So in the last, so if I fail, nothing is left on this, then we can close this one. [Rafael Bruno]: Are those the broadcasts that you share with me? Just today. [Rizwan Hameed]: No, not the today’s one. These were the recent ones which we not highlighted. And so I created a record and then I did my investigations in that part. [Rafael Bruno]: Okay, I’ll take a look on on that. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yeah, sure. Thank you. [Rizwan Hameed]: Cool. Okay. [Michael Houck]: So we should be able to get these done. I mean, it sounds like it sounds like this is pretty close to being done. It sounds like this is more work, uh, do we just want to be able to get done too? Cause this is, this is pretty important. [Rizwan Hameed]: Yeah. Yeah. But definitely after implementing the change logs and testing the engagement, that was the next part to do. Okay. Cool. Sounds good. [Michael Houck]: That puts us, let’s see where we’re at now. That puts us at, um, 91 without removing some others from Rafael that we know will remove. So we’ll probably be able to get that down a bit more. But yeah, we still need a big week. I know there’s some waiting on me here too. So I’ll either get to those or move them to next sprint before we launch groups. Cool. Mehul, I remember there was one thing we were talking about over the chat. Did we resolve that or did you want to talk through that too? [Mehul]: I guess I figured it out. So whenever user click on the target broadcast model, I will going to redirect them to the invite screen. And once they’re invited, then we’ll redirect into the group details screen, right? [Michael Houck]: Yeah, basically what we want to do is if somebody is going to share a broadcast and they don’t have an inner circle, obviously we show them like, you know, hey, set up your inner circle or whatever. And if they click that, then it should take them to the group details screen for their inner circle. But there should be some sort of or maybe an account shelf, or maybe a shelf, one or the other, that just collects the information that we need in order to set up their inner circle. So it lets them send invites to people. It lets them add their contact method, if they haven’t done that already. I think that’s all we need. Maybe we set up the URL. No, the slug for inner circle standards. We don’t need to do that. So yeah, just those two pieces of info, I think. And then once they do that, and they click OK, whatever, then they get to see the rest of the group details page and they can use their inner circle. [Mehul]: So once they once they set up the inner circles thing, so are we still showing that that warning on to the the targeting model or it will be only when they haven’t set up the inner circle? [Michael Houck]: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You want to show the notification on the targeting and then if they click that and they send the invites, As soon as people accept, as soon as one person accepts an invite, we don’t need to show that. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Good. Cool. [Michael Houck]: Ben, I know we kind of skipped over. Intercom customer stuff. Do you want to give some very brief context on where we’re at with that? I probably gotta run in like 2 minutes. [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah, sure, I’ll be fast. Last week I saw that there were 11 closed tickets or two weeks ago. There were 13 so there were more tickets albeit a couple of those were very small ones like needing an invoice. There was there was one of those so. Yeah, the biggest thing by far was the the dashboard issues on both the amplifier side and the caster side. So yeah, I know there’s one that I still have here that isn’t closed because I didn’t fully get a conclusion with Casey Jones. I’ll chat with Rafael on that afterwards, Yeah, by far, that was the vast majority of my concerns. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay. [Michael Houck]: Hopefully those issues get solved ASAP so that people don’t have that experience. But sounds good. Cool. Anybody have anything else you want to go over now? If not, I will leave it to you guys for the last few minutes. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay. Cool. [Michael Houck]: I will see you guys later. Talk on Slack. [Rafael Bruno]: So guys, about the technical side, anything that you would like to discuss? [Ben Ornstein]: I will tag you in the one I’m referring to. I think it’s in one of the threads with Raina tagged in. Yeah, it’s this one. I’ll tag in this one again. This is the one with Casey Jones, who was one of the amplifiers, who said that she looked at her dashboard, and it shows that she’s missed or done late every single one of those. She said, I know that at least in the last week, I did a lot of them on time or very quickly. Yeah, here, I’m just gonna share it as a, just forward it to you like that. [Rafael Bruno]: Okay, I’ll take a look on that. [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah, other than that, I think, I think that’s the only one that was remaining outside of the, someone got overcharged, which Hauk answered them. So I’ll check in with him on that, but I think that’s all from me. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: OK. [Rafael Bruno]: Do you have access to Popsicle? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Popsicle? [Ben Ornstein]: I don’t think so. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yeah. What is Popsicle? [Rafael Bruno]: Oh, it’s the admin interface to the database. Oh. Because we have a query with all the users who had the budget overspent. That would help if you need to know if that actually happened with that user. [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah, if you could add me to that, that would be really helpful. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: OK. [Rizwan Hameed]: Anyone else? Yeah, I failed. So I wanted to test the engagement URL changes in the post-engagement boards. So can you? Can we test it over the weekend with few posts? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: OK. [Rafael Bruno]: There is not. There is. Let me see. If I’m not mistaken, the structure is already done. All that you need to do is send something. Because right now, I’m starting null in the database. But if you send a string, it will start in the same way. That’s the only difference. Understand that I’m just asking, like, you know, I’ll be needing some posts for the testing purposes, right? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: OK. That’s it. [Rafael Bruno]: Yeah. This weekend, I will be traveling. So I’m not sure if I’ll be available all the time. But yeah. Then. [Rizwan Hameed]: What I will do is, like, you know, I won’t submit the data to the API. But I will use the emails from the logs file that I am generating. So I think we’re good then. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Sure. [Rizwan Hameed]: And yeah, so please give your input on that, the ticket on which I tagged you, the investigation ticket. So if nothing is required more than we can close it. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay. [Sid]: Yeah, that’s it from my side. How about you, Sid? Yeah, all good, Rafael. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay. [Sid]: Uh, actually, yeah, that’s not, but this lag is not opening now. So anyway, that’s fine. We can continue. [Rizwan Hameed]: We can continue on Slack. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay.
