[Rafael Bruno]: Hey, guys. Hey, what’s up? [Michael Houck]: One moment. [Michael Houck]: It’s so dark, Rafael. [Rafael Bruno]: Yes, it’s my bedroom. [Michael Houck]: How’s it going? [Rafael Bruno]: Oh, things are going well. I just have, I was checking we just need to finish processing like 13 broadcasts, and then we will have the updated lists of the engagements that were missing, but it wasn’t supposed to be missing. [Michael Houck]: Great. We’re still missing some though, right? Like we still have, what is it? The other bug 950, which is the scraper should be running one hour after the creator receives the post. So we’re going to need to go through and do more cleanup. [Rafael Bruno]: Yeah. That part, Rizwan, didn’t implement yet. [Michael Houck]: OK. I talked with him a couple minutes ago. He is actually at the hospital right now. His mother has a surgery that she has to do, spine surgery. It sounds pretty serious. Let’s all keep her in our thoughts. But yeah, so I would imagine he’s gonna be pretty slow to respond today. But when you talk to him, you should definitely get him to prioritize that because that’s, I think, that’s the last bug that is actively causing more issues. The other one’s isolated bugs that we have to fix. Okay, cool. Okay, guys, I also invited Ben Ben’s going to be joining these calls going forward and just be part of our sort of weekly process. Ben, do you want to say hey to everybody? And everyone else, do you guys want to go around and do quick intros for Ben? [Ben Ornstein]: Hey, guys. Yeah, so I’ve definitely chatted with a couple of you just over Slack. I’m Ben. Yeah, I’m helping out pretty much everything that helps, too. And I’m involved in one way or another is probably the best way to explain it. Yeah, nice to meet you all face-to-face finally. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, I think the biggest thing that Ben’s going to be doing, and you’ve already seen him kind of do this in Slack, it’s just he’s been helping out with our users when they reach out with issues. So you guys will probably talk to him more in context of solving problems for users. And when he brings things up, please try to prioritize those because we obviously want to get back to users quickly. [Michael Houck]: So, I mean, yeah, you guys have all, all have, you know, know him through Slack, but maybe just give, uh, give quick intro so can do a face to the name type deal. [Rafael Bruno]: So, Hey Ben, I’m Rafael. I I’m the tech lead of the team and, uh, yeah, mostly I work with, uh, the backend and other data related stuff. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Awesome. [Mehul Jariwala]: Hey Ben, my name is Mehul. I was mostly dealing with the only guy who deals with the front end. So you can reach out to me if you have anything related to the front end. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Awesome. [Ben Ornstein]: Sounds great. [Sid]: Hi Ben. I’m Sid. I’m also from India just like Mehul. I’m working as a backend developer, pretty much doing everything that is required on the backend to add new features. So add new features, bugs, everything. Nice to meet you. [Ben Ornstein]: Nice to meet you, Sid. Awesome. [Michael Houck]: Cool. Okay. So Ben’s just going to sit in on these meetings. And Ben, feel free to jump in with any questions or any thoughts or anything that comes up as we As we go, these are pretty pretty loose, so yeah. I’m going to share my screen so we can dive in and then we’ll go around the horn. [Michael Houck]: OK. So last sprint. Obviously you know we we quote unquote hit 100%. That just means that there were some bugs that I moved into this sprint, but also this is bigger than this print was supposed to be in the 1st place. So we actually did a pretty good job There’s still a lot of bugs left to do, but was pretty pleased with how much we got through. I think this is the most individual tickets we’ve ever done in one sprint, which is cool because they’re also all small bugs. But as far as this print goes, let me make this little bigger. As far as this print goes. Yeah, I guess the main things are just wrapping up 100% of the bugs. There’s a couple things in here in the hole for you, which were not bug related. The referrals page and the second groups page and some other small things. But for the most part, I anticipate we’ll spend at least this week, maybe into next week on bugs. And then once we start to trim that list down, Sid, you’ll probably start working on the group stuff again while Rafael wraps up the rest of the bugs. Of how the sprint will go. As far as where we’re at right now, Rafael, do you wanna take us away? [Rafael Bruno]: Sure. Regarding bugs, last week I spent basically all the week working with the wallet issue. For those who are not familiarized with that issue, we had a problem problem migrating data from the ledger into the DB and the data from the wallet and the requests were not consistent. So I worked fixing some of the those data and I’m still working on some of them to pass to Rina to check against the ledger so we can make sure that everything is OK. [Rafael Bruno]: Let me see what else. Yeah, basically all the tasks that I have that are our own are related with money. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, it’s been a it’s been a big journey. Do we expect that will be finished with that today? Or is that something that’s going to extend into tomorrow as well? [Rafael Bruno]: Probably tomorrow because I think It’s almost on the end of her day and I still need to pass the The items on the ledger that he he has to check or she has to check. [Michael Houck]: Cool, that’s fine, but sounds good. I guess when you wrap up what you can do today there, then you can just keep moving on to the next things, sure. I think everything is ranked accurately by priority already for this sprint. I can do a quick pass to make but I think it’s already in there. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay. [Michael Houck]: Okay. Sid, you wanna go next? [Sid]: Yeah. Hi guys. So currently I’m working on, I mean, I’m working on 961. That is the settings page that the user is trying to fix an issue. I mean, she was trying to update her settings, her country, and there was some error with that. So I’m fixing that issue. And besides that, I have followed up with the result for 9.1.2, but I didn’t know the reason why it was not responding or it was slow, but now I get the context. So I’ll continue with 9.1.2 when I get some more info. And yeah, I think after this one, the big one will be 9.29, which is the show headshots on dashboard. So once these two tickets are done, I’ll come back to this with Rafael and I think Rizwan as well. And then we’ll see how to get the images to S3. [Michael Houck]: Sid, I think that at least 926, but maybe also 959 are pretty small. So if you are, if we’re waiting on Rizwan for some things, then it might be good to just knock out these three small ones before going back to the headshots issue. [Sid]: Okay, sure. 926 959, right? [Michael Houck]: Yeah, they’re all in here. They’re the ones that are just tagged on you. So if you filter by you, you’ll see it. [Sid]: Yeah, I can see it. Okay, cool. So I’ll put 929 and the last and before that, I’ll try to finish other other tickets. [Michael Houck]: Cool. And if you find that like these are bigger than I think they are, then just let me know because it might make sense to do the headshots first at that point. I just think they’re pretty small and probably easy to knock out. [Sid]: Yeah, sure. I’ll let you know when I, like, once I start. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Cool. [Michael Houck]: Okay. Um, Mehul, you want to go next? [Mehul Jariwala]: Yeah. For my side, I was, I used all the bugs that we have related to the UI, the front end. So only thing which is pending on login, so it’s taking a bit more amount of time because I need to handle the, all the edge case scenario. So probably I’ll try to finish it today. And then I’ll pick up the referral page which was pending since longer time. So yeah. [Michael Houck]: Well, yeah, sounds good. I think that’s the only the only lingering bug. Yeah. So should be all set to move on to normal stuff after that. And then, yeah, I think I think all this we should be able to get through this sprint. There might be even more bandwidth like next week. Let me know. I don’t know how fast some of these new to be or if they’ll take a while. So just keep me in the loop and should be all good there. [Mehul Jariwala]: Yep, perfect. [Michael Houck]: And then just for visibility for you guys, since he’s not here, Rizwan’s wrapping up right now, adding two more bots for LinkedIn. Basically, we reallocated some of our bots due to bandwidth for the posts that we were having to process as part of the migration. But now we’ll be having these live for both the late slash missed checkpoint and also the superfast checkpoint again after not having that for a bit. So he’s working on that. And then a couple other lingering bugs. These two, I’ll actually put this one high priority so that he knows to do it first. [Rafael Bruno]: One question regarding superfast, how important important is that metric for the business? Like if we don’t have the super fast engagements, will that influence on, I think that the only place that we see that is on the algorithm, right? [Michael Houck]: So yeah, super fast, I think should impact like whether we are sending posts to creators versus a different creator via the algorithm. But the main thing is that once we have reliable tracking for it, we’ll be able to use it to incentivize creators to engage quickly. So obviously quick engagement leads to better results for our users. So it’s, you know, we want to deliver better results for our users. And so if we have that metric, we can say, oh, you know, rather than us taking a certain commission on your earnings for this post, you can earn a little bit more of that back by doing a super fast engagement. So I need to do some data analysis and see like, all right, well, how many posts would this what would the financial impact of that be, all that stuff. But as like an incentive structure, I like the idea of saying, if you do this faster, which is better for users, then we’ll let you keep a little bit more of the earnings on the post. [Rafael Bruno]: Okay, got it. [Michael Houck]: So yeah, so he has these two bugs. I would say these are probably lower priority than the stuff that Rafael, you and I and Sid both are going to be working with him on so he should know that already. But if he doesn’t make sure that he’s prioritizing the work with you guys. Once that’s done, he’ll get back to this and then these are the final four tasks from the whole bucket of scraping tasks that have been built up for the LinkedIn and X scrapers over the past like six months. So we’re finally going to wrap that quote unquote project up. I think here. Hopefully wrap it up this month, and then once that’s done, I’m going to have Rizwan get started on doing a scraper for TikTok, Instagram, and threads as new platforms for us to be able to offer to people. So hopefully this quarter we’ll get all those live. [Michael Houck]: Okay, I think that’s it from me. Did you guys have any other questions about the sprint. Yeah, anything else? [Rafael Bruno]: One question about the choice of those platforms. Why not include YouTube? [Michael Houck]: Yeah, we can include YouTube too. I think, I actually don’t know how the impact of comments and things from other people impacts the YouTube algorithm. I know on TikTok, Instagram, and threads, it’s pretty similar to X and LinkedIn in that like you get more reach if certain people comment on your content. I imagine the same thing is true for YouTube, but I don’t know for a fact that it is. So I need to do some research there before we’d commit to building it right away. [Rafael Bruno]: Okay. Got it. [Michael Houck]: Yeah. [Michael Houck]: Cool. Oh, one flag. Sid does a really good job of this, of adding the pull request to the task. I think we should just try to get in the habit of doing that as often as possible. Or I don’t know if it’s the initial, the pull request, what this is, but yeah, we should get in the habit of linking this more often so it’s easier to debug stuff later if we need to track that. I would just say, let’s try to get in the habit of that where possible. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay. [Michael Houck]: Cool. Okay, well, that’s it for me. I’ll hop off. If you guys wanna stick around and chat more, if there’s anything to go over about the bugs, feel free to do so. But yeah, excited for a good week. I think this will be our first week in a couple weeks that haven’t been crazy frantic. So I’m feeling pretty good. [Rafael Bruno]: I’ll start to go to bed soon, this week. Me too. Okay. Cool, guys. See you, Hulk. Hey, guys. Anything else to this? I’ll see you then. [Ben Ornstein]: Actually, I’ll stick around just in case for the rest of this. Just for the first one. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay. [Rafael Bruno]: This usually the meeting that we have after Hulk leaves is more technical, but feel free to stay here if you want. I’ll stay for the first one. [Ben Ornstein]: If I’m not understanding most of it, then I’ll just… [Rafael Bruno]: Okay. Go ahead, Sid. I was just joking. I said, we’ll teach you if it’s too much for you. So guys, do you have anything to discuss? Is there any issue? [Sid]: All good. [Rafael Bruno]: All good. So Ben, did you understand everything? [Ben Ornstein]: I don’t know. That was, that was pretty crazy. That was pretty good. Thanks guys. I appreciate it. By the way, I appreciate when I reach out on Slack responding so fast, it’s very helpful. So thank you all. [Rafael Bruno]: Okay, sure. So guys, if you need me, just send a message and as soon as I can, I will answer you. Okay. Yeah, I’m gonna go and keep working here. [Sid]: Bye.
