UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: I’m sorry. [Max Palmer]: Hi. Hello Carolina. How are you? [Carolina Porto]: I’m good. Thank you. How are you? UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Good. [Max Palmer]: Thanks. [Carolina Porto]: I have my camera on. I woke up with a, with an allergy and yeah, I’m so swollen. [Max Palmer]: No worries at all. Um, I’m, I’m Howard’s chief of staff. So I usually handle these megaphone calls for him. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Okay. [Max Palmer]: Um, so I would, um, I would love to start just hearing about how you heard about us, and why you’re interested in Megaphone. [Carolina Porto]: Yeah, well, I heard about you through the newsletter. Well, long story short, I’m friends with Brett, and I was a member at Lunch House. [Max Palmer]: Okay. [Carolina Porto]: So, I think I’ve seen Michael twice in my life, and I subscribed to the newsletter. And then for some reason, last newsletter, to actually like pay attention to it. I thought the content was engaging and I think it was about copywriting and building thought leadership. So yeah, I’m in the process of that for several reasons. I’ve been building Stealth for the past two years. I feel ready to emerge first from Stealth with my company. I’m also working on my visa and for my visa in the US is super important, the whole thought leadership part and being able to have exposure to social media. And yeah, I feel like it’s my time to start working on that for several reasons. And I want to make sure that I get so I started to post three weeks ago on LinkedIn. And initially, I was having like good reactions, good engagement. And suddenly, I’m not having as much as engagements as I was having three Kind of like in the same line of quality of content, I would say. But yeah, this is not my area of expertise, and it’s something I want to do. So that’s why I’m here. [Max Palmer]: Great. And so you’re just looking to do LinkedIn, not Twitter? [Carolina Porto]: I would like to understand the reasons why going on Twitter. But yeah, LinkedIn, I’m not. [Max Palmer]: Yeah, no worries. Yeah. And are you looking to do this solely to grow a personal audience, or is this to help your business eventually? [Carolina Porto]: It’s to help my business. [Max Palmer]: Great. And will you be using a business account or your personal account for this? [Carolina Porto]: I think I’m going to do both. [Max Palmer]: Great. So do you have a rough understanding of how Megaphone works? [Carolina Porto]: If you could explain, that would be better. [Max Palmer]: Yes, definitely. So Megafone is a creator engagement marketplace. So we have users who are people like yourself, and then we have creators who are influencers in a variety of different niches who have anywhere from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of followers. And these creators will engage with your content when you post it and submit it to Megafone. And by engagement, it’s typically going to be a comment. So you’ll post something on LinkedIn, You’ll send that post to Megaphone, and then we’ll route that post to different creators that are in your niche and that are online at the time you’re posting. And then those creators will comment on your post. They’ll comment something relevant. And then because they’re commenting, the LinkedIn algorithm will push that into more people’s feeds. And so you’ll get more engagement, more sales leads, whatever it is you’re looking for. So that’s how it works in a nutshell. There’s two parts of our pricing. So there’s the subscription and then there’s the amount you pay, the budget you set per post. So the subscription is $49 or The difference between those two is with the month tier, your posts get sent to creators immediately once you send them to us. Whereas with the $49 month tier, your posts are delayed an hour until we send them to creators. [Carolina Porto]: Okay. And then what’s the average recommended amount to spend per post? [Max Palmer]: Yeah, so on average people are spending $30 per post. But we've had some people spend well over $100 for a particular post. [Max Palmer]: You know, if they have a big announcement, if they have a product launch, or a great piece of content that they spent ton of time on. So you can spend as much as you’d like, We’ll allocate your post to creators based on three things. One, they have to be in your niche. Two, they’re online at the time you’re posting so that they can engage right away. And then three, we’re going to allocate, we’re going to maximize your budget most optimally based on the follower to cost ratio. So these creators set their own cost, set their own price for how much they want to make per post. Or per engagement. Typically, they raise their prices by $10 for every 100,000 followers they have. So for example, we have a creator with 370,000 followers, and they charge $35 for an engagement. Whereas we have other creators with 50,000 followers, and they only charge $5 or $10. OK. [Carolina Porto]: with the copywriting? [Max Palmer]: We do. So we have a ghostwriting agency if you need help with the content. The ghostwriting service starts at $2,000 month and then goes up from there. Is that something you’re interested in as well? [Carolina Porto]: Yeah. [Max Palmer]: Okay, great. So I will send you an email afterwards and I’ll include Hauk because he manages the ghostwriting team. And I’ll include some more info on the different ghostwriting packages we offer and then Hal can chime in and you guys can chat about ghostwriting as well. [Carolina Porto]: Okay, awesome. Perfect. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Cool. [Max Palmer]: Do you have any other questions? [Carolina Porto]: I do not. [Max Palmer]: Okay, great. So I will send that email over right now and then if you have any ghostwriting questions, you can shoot us an email back and Hauk would be happy, if you’re serious about the ghost writing service, Hauk would be happy to hop on a call with you as well. [Carolina Porto]: Okay, awesome. Thank you so much. [Max Palmer]: All right. Talk soon.
