[Max Palmer]: Hey, Aaron. [Eren Aksu]: Hey, how’s it going? [Max Palmer]: Good. How are you? [Eren Aksu]: I’m doing well. Thank you, Max. One second, please. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: All right. [Eren Aksu]: How are you doing, man? [Max Palmer]: Good. I’m Houck’s chief of staff, so I usually handle most of these megaphone calls for him. Love it. Excited to chat with you. Would love to start just hearing about why you’re interested in Megaphone and how you heard about us. [Eren Aksu]: To be quite frank, Max, would you mind reminding me what Megaphone is specifically again? I think I might have reached out under a different namesake or premise that is still probably relevant to what I want, but just want to make sure But we’re talking about the same thing. [Max Palmer]: Yeah, absolutely. So Megaphone is a creator engagement marketplace for LinkedIn and Twitter. [Eren Aksu]: Got it. Yeah. OK. Awesome. Yes. So I’d like to get much more active on LinkedIn specifically. And I’m not very good at it, but I need to get better at it. And I’m hoping this could be a tool that allows me to do that. I want to increase my reach basically. [Max Palmer]: Yep, sounds good. And do you have a basic understanding of how Megaphone works or should I explain? [Eren Aksu]: Please go ahead. Okay. [Max Palmer]: So Megaphone connects users who are people like yourself who want to grow on Twitter or LinkedIn with creators who have anywhere from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of followers and are in a variety of different niches. The minimum requirement to be a creator on our platform is 20,000 followers. These creators are in niches from everything to AI and tech to health and wellness and, you know, whatever. We’ve got dozens of different niches. The creators will engage with your content that you post on LinkedIn. And by engage, it’s typically going to be a comment. They’ll comment something relevant on your post and that will help boost your post in algorithm. Because when a big creator with tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of followers engages with your post, it’s a signal to LinkedIn that your post must be important because this big account is engaging with it. So that’s how it works in a nutshell. [Eren Aksu]: Very cool. Makes sense. And then I’m assuming there’s a fee for that, which is fairly straightforward, I would assume? [Max Palmer]: Yeah. So there’s two parts of the pricing. The first is a subscription, which is either month $49 or $89 a month. This gives you access to use the platform. The difference between the two tiers is with the $89 a month tier, your posts will get sent to creators as soon as you send them to us on Megaphone. Whereas with the $49 a month tier, we’re going to delay it an hour until we send it to creators. It’s important because instant engagement is kind of a high signal on LinkedIn and Twitter. [Eren Aksu]: Oh, gotcha. [Max Palmer]: Yeah. [Eren Aksu]: And then the go out with the process. I’ll ask my question. Yeah. [Max Palmer]: And then the second part of the pricing is the budget that you allocate towards each post. So this is the money that goes to paying the creators. They charge their own amount. They set their prices. We don’t control their prices. But but typically on average, creators will raise their prices an additional every $10 100,000 followers they have. For example, we have a creator with 370,000 followers, and they charge $35 for an engagement. Whereas we have creators with 50,000 followers, and they typically charge $5 to $10 an engagement. And so that budget you set for each post. So when you post something on LinkedIn, you’ll then go on the megaphone, send a link to that post and allocate a budget for that post. On average, there’s people are spending 30 to $50 per post, but you can spend as much as much as you'd like, [Eren Aksu]: And then creators bid on it? No. [Max Palmer]: And yeah, so creators don't bid on it. We send these posts to creators based on three criteria. So first and foremost, we're going to send it to creators that are in your niche, right? Because we don't want if you're creating an AI product, we don't want to send your post to some health and wellness creator just wouldn't make any sense, how many followers they have. Second, we want to send it to creators that are online at the time you're posting so that they can engage right away. And then third, we want to maximize your budget. So our software will maximize your budget based on a cost to follower ratio and to try to get the most bang for your buck. [Eren Aksu]: That makes sense. But the megaphone product doesn't really help with the content creation aspect any of that stuff itself? [Max Palmer]: Yeah. So we, the way we put it is, um, we're pouring fire or pouring gasoline on the fire, but you still have to create that fire. Right? So the content is up to you. We have launched a ghostwriting service to help clients with the whole content process. So if you're interested in that, I can absolutely send more information. It starts at about month $2,000 for our ghostwriting service. Um, uh, but yeah, uh, Other than that, the content’s entirely up to you. Megaphone itself doesn’t help with the content creation. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: OK. [Eren Aksu]: Understood. Super helpful. So I think I need to figure out the content strategy side of it first, which I’m close to. And then once I do that, I think this would be a great way to start getting some engagement on the post themselves. Is there a mechanism with which I can sign up? [Max Palmer]: Yeah, just directly on the site. Yeah. It’s, it’s a super simple onboarding. You’ll pick which niches you’re in. Um, is this for the three V company? [Eren Aksu]: It is. Yeah. And I can, I assume I can use this for my company account or my personal posts. [Max Palmer]: So for any additional count, it’s, it’s an extra $39 month. [Eren Aksu]: Oh, so you can add multiple accounts under one megaphone. [Max Palmer]: Yeah. So if you sign up for the $89 a month, for your company account, and then you want to do your personal account as well, your personal account would be $39 a month. [Eren Aksu]: Okay. Gotcha. Okay. So you’re looking at all in costs, like 120 bucks, 130 bucks a month, basically. [Max Palmer]: Yeah. If you want to do two accounts, yep. [Eren Aksu]: Rents and engagement. And then per post, I’ll calculate these in my head later on, but this is super helpful. Yeah. [Max Palmer]: Thank you. Yeah. And then are you interested in the GoStarting service? Or not right now? [Eren Aksu]: I think the ghostwriting stuff we could probably handle. I mean, trying to be lean and mean. I think we just have to bite the bullet and just create the content, which we’ll be able to do better than anybody else since we know our stuff anyways. It’s just a time commitment thing. If we ever get to a point where we’re posting so much that we need a ghostwriter, then I’ll reach out to you guys. But for now, that should be OK. [Max Palmer]: Awesome. Do you have any other questions? [Eren Aksu]: No. That’s it, man. Very clear. [Max Palmer]: Great. Well, you have our email as well. So if you do have any questions in the future, just shoot us an email and we’ll get back to you. [Eren Aksu]: All right. That sounds good. Thanks, Max. [Max Palmer]: Have a good one, Aaron. [Eren Aksu]: Take care, buddy.
