[Max Palmer]: I’m fine, thank you. [Max Palmer]: Well, thanks for booking a call. I’m excited to chat with you. I’m Houck’s chief of staff, so I handle a lot of these megaphone demos. So I’d love to start just by hearing why you’re interested in megaphone and how you heard about us. [The Black Box-Jimit D. Shah]: So my friend recommended you to boost some B2B sales. So I have a B2B product, which actually needs to be promoted on the online platform where my B2B guys are there, like LinkedIn and X. But we haven’t yet started with X. We are just starting with LinkedIn right now. [The Black Box-Jimit D. Shah]: And for that, I need to get in some good followers, some organic customers. And that’s why I just contacted you. I’ve gone through the video link that Michael shared earlier in the day. I guess that was an auto email, but yes, I got how it works and all, but I’m quite I’m not quite sure that I understand how the followers are going to increase and how my business idea and my brand awareness is going to be created on LinkedIn. [Michael Houck]: Hey, Jim, I just wanted to stop in and say, hey, Max is going to take the lead here, but just wanted to say, hey, and thanks for signing up. [The Black Box-Jimit D. Shah]: Yeah. Hi, Michael. [Max Palmer]: Sure thing. I can explain for you. Basically, as you understand how it works, big creators that are in your space will engage with your content on LinkedIn or Twitter. When they engage with that, that will boost your post in the algorithm. So by having accounts with tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of followers comment on posts, it signals to the Twitter or LinkedIn algorithm that your post is important and it’s valuable. And so it will then boost that post in the algorithm. Much more people will see it. And you’ll get hopefully more followers and more sales. So that’s how it kind of works in a nutshell. We have over 150 different creators in a variety of different spaces. And we would match you based on three different things. So first and foremost, creators that are in your niche, because we want them to be relevant to you. Second, we want to send your post to creators that are online at the time you’re posting so that they can engage with your post right away. And then third, we want to maximize your budget. So you’re going to set a budget for each post. And based on that budget, we will allocate it towards different creators and maximize that based on a follower to cost ratio. [The Black Box-Jimit D. Shah]: Okay, okay. And how is it different from a LinkedIn advertisement that I would do? [Max Palmer]: Yeah, it’s gonna look organic, right? So you can pay for ads on LinkedIn, and those are paid ads. But what happens with Megaphone is creators will organically engage with your content. So it looks natural. It’s not gonna look like an ad. They’re just gonna simply comment on your posts, comment something relevant, and that’ll help boost your posts in the algorithm. So it looks much more organic than an ad. [The Black Box-Jimit D. Shah]: Okay. And do you guarantee any number of followers or it’s up to the creators who would do that? [Max Palmer]: We don’t guarantee anything. So it’s entirely up to, you know, the quality of your content, how much budget you put into each post. And then of course there’s, there’s luck involved with, with the algorithm. So no, we cannot guarantee any results. [The Black Box-Jimit D. Shah]: Okay. And, the demographics of this post are worldwide or only some specific territories that I need to select? [Max Palmer]: So it’s worldwide. We have creators all over the world. About 50% of our creators are in the US or in North America. But we have others in Asia, Europe, South America as well. [Max Palmer]: When you are posting, you will have the option to choose which country or continent you want creators to engage from [The Black Box-Jimit D. Shah]: Okay. And I saw on the website on Megaphone that you’ll take some 30-40 dollars as the first time monthly fee and then it’s the budget that I need to set for promoting my posts. Is that right? [Max Palmer]: Correct. So it’s $49 month or $89 month for the monthly subscription. Those are the two tiers. And then you do have to allocate a budget towards each post. So that’s the money that goes towards paying the creators. [The Black Box-Jimit D. Shah]: Okay. Is there any discounts or offers that you would run for a new startup that I’ve made? Because paying $49 plus the post, it’s kind of a heavy financial call that I need to take as a startup? [Max Palmer]: There aren’t any discounts we’re running right now, but there is no long-term commitment. So you could try this out for, you know, a couple of months and see how it works and only allocate a few hundred bucks to make it work for you. [The Black Box-Jimit D. Shah]: Okay. Okay. But can you do something for me? Let’s say if I give you a commitment of two months, can you do some kind of a waiver or something for me? [Max Palmer]: We don’t, I don’t think I can, but yeah, we just don’t, we don’t typically give discounts, so I won’t be able to, but yeah. [The Black Box-Jimit D. Shah]: Okay. Leaving the professional advice aside, I can expect some growth in my followers, right? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yes. Yeah. [Max Palmer]: As long as you’re posting consistent, high quality content and creators are engaging with it through Megaphone, you should see an increase in followers. [The Black Box-Jimit D. Shah]: Ok. OK. Max, I think I’ve got enough. I would probably get to work by tomorrow morning. I’m currently in India, so it’s 930 here in the night. So I would be getting on to work tomorrow morning. If I do find any issues or something, is it okay if I email you straight away? [Max Palmer]: Absolutely. You can shoot me and Michael or, you know, the both of us an email and we’ll be responsive. [The Black Box-Jimit D. Shah]: Okay. Okay. That’s great. Great. Okay. Thank you, Max. Thank you, Max. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Okay. [Max Palmer]: Thank you. [The Black Box-Jimit D. Shah]: Have a good night. Get back to you soon. Thank you very much. [Max Palmer]: All right. Bye bye.
