Blake Emal raised two Studio feature requests. Michael asked for Blake’s preferred approach on the chat-splitting question. Blake’s answer:
- New chat cadence: Per week is the right default. But a manual “New Chat” button would be better - Blake said he would trigger it himself roughly once per week anyway.
- Attachments: Still needed. PDF, .md, .doc, .jpg, .png for client chats. Covers cases where context lands outside the automated pipeline.
Why captured
Blake Emal is the primary Studio power user. These are product direction inputs with an explicit preference stated (manual new-chat button, not auto-weekly). Neither feature exists yet as of this date. They belong alongside Blake Emal: Hermes UI/UX and writing feedback (2026-08-21) as the running list of Blake’s Studio requirements.
Action
Pass to the engineer responsible for Studio UI. The attachment feature in particular has been requested multiple times and is still outstanding.
