Blake S asked Blake E how he is currently tracking outlier posts from Ben Gusberg’s target accounts (the ones Ben wants to replicate). Blake E replied he is checking manually each week.

Blake E said Hermes automating this would be great.

Target accounts (expandable by Hermes)

  • Ruben Hassid
  • AllieKMiller
  • Zain Kahn
  • Greg Isenberg
  • Rowan Cheung
  • Charlie Hills
  • Amit Rawal
  • Axelle Malek
  • Anisha Jain
  • Basia Kubicka
  • Luis Rodrigues (LinkedIn only: linkedin.com/in/lfrodrigues)

Definition of outlier

Blake E proposed: 50% higher impressions than the account’s average (minimum). This is a threshold to test, not final.

Why it matters

Ben Gusberg is the exception client. He does not want thought leadership, he does not want original takes. He wants to copy posts that have already proven to work. The context chat yesterday went well but creating new content is not what he wants. He wants proven templates.

Automating this feed would let Blake E stop checking 11+ accounts manually every week. Hermes would surface the outliers, Blake E picks what fits, and Ben posts adapted versions.

Next step

Build the tracker. Pull these accounts weekly, calculate their avg impressions, flag posts above 1.5x avg, surface them to Blake E in Studio or Slack.
