JOLT creator partnership agreements run through Rye Valley as the intermediary. Contract 1: RV and the sponsoring company. Contract 2: RV and the creator. Sponsors pay RV; RV pays out the creator. No direct sponsor-to-creator payment.
Context
Houck asked in jolt what structure is normal for the partnerships agreement being drafted for Ben Gusberg (Cape). Blake Stewart and Tatem both confirmed the RV-as-intermediary model is standard.
Consequences
- Agreements to be drafted as two separate contracts.
- This sets precedent for all future JOLT creator partnership deals.
