Decision
Emil will pursue an “apathetic but effective” AI-empowerment content angle targeting college students and new grads. The frame: how to avoid becoming the “permanent underclass” by leveraging AI rather than fearing it. Content style is pragmatic follower-growth content, not passion-driven. Modeled on Ben Gusberg’s Claude-centric AI content approach.
Context
Emil’s sponsorship pipeline is constrained by follower count (~50K seen as credibility unlock). Passion-driven content was not moving the needle. Michael proposed this angle because it ties into Emil’s existing event strategy and sponsorship targets, and the Ben case study shows the AI content playbook works.
Options considered
- Continue organic passion-driven content: not producing follower growth.
- Replicate Ben’s Claude-centric content verbatim: rejected (conflict of interest risk given the relationship).
- AI angle for college students/new grads: chosen. Distinct enough from Ben’s content, ties into events and sponsorship targets.
Consequences
- Tatum’s updated content strategy DM to be reviewed and aligned on format.
- Goal: 0 to 40K-50K follower growth story to change sponsor pitch calculus.
- No timeline set; implied urgency given mid-to-late September sponsorship push.
