Decision
Michael posted identical “quick heads up” messages across all remaining Megaphone client channels today (July 31), formally notifying them that Blake Emal (Head of Content, editor in chief, business partner) is taking the lead on all social media content production going forward.
Context
Execution of the team restructuring decided July 30 (Team Restructuring - Blake Leads All Client Accounts).
Email notifications to Heavenly Health, Mantis VC, and Project Omega were sent July 31 (2026-07-31-blake-client-handoff-notifications.md). Today’s Slack posts extended those notifications to the remaining client channels.
Clients notified via Slack today:
- Fasset Social (#megaphone-fasset-social)
- Keycard (#megaphone-keycard)
- Doctours (#megaphone-doctours) - “for the remainder of the engagement”
- Polar (#megaphone-polar) - “for the remainder of the engagement”
- Will (#megaphone-will)
- Draper Max (#megaphone-draper-max)
Note: “for the remainder of the engagement” language on Doctours and Polar suggests those may be winding down or on shorter-term contracts.
Consequences
All active Megaphone clients have now been notified. Blake Emal is publicly the content lead across the full portfolio. Emma continues leading SEO/GEO work per the Keycard message.
