Summary

First weekly JOLT! team sync. Covered client status across all active clients, new business targets for October, and partnership outreach process for Ben’s account.

Client Status

  • Adam Gillman: Strong performer, improving with each video. Best shape outside Ben.
  • Colleen: Access issues resolved after 45-min call with Tatem. 2FA on socials finally sorted. All videos + new scripts due by 5pm Oct 7; posting starts Oct 8.
  • Rob (Manz): Behind. Recorded half his videos in downtown Manhattan without a mic, audio noisy, ran through 3 denoisers. One script fix pending. Waiting on him to approve editing style before completing the batch.
  • Josh: Voice profile was missing from initial scripts (Hermes bug - voice card was never created). Tatem handled diplomatically without disclosing the error. Decision: Michael will message Josh directly to frame it as a “software context bug,” tag Tatem to follow up. New scripts going out Oct 7.
  • Ben: Strong. Tatem met him in person. Approaching ~93K combined followers (Instagram + TikTok). Newsletter feature planned once he hits 100K.
  • Gem Studio: Michael found 3 Utah candidates for local content person. Ben (Gem Studio) interviewing them Oct 7-8. Client traveling in London since Monday, onboarding form outstanding. Blake to follow up.

Decisions

  • Disclose Josh voice-card bug as software issue: Michael will message Josh’s Slack channel framing as a software bug (context not available to writer), not AI-written scripts. Tatem to tag Michael so he can follow up with reassurance. See JOLT! Josh: Disclose voice-card bug as a software issue.
  • Standardize onboarding doc packet: Post-call onboarding to include a Loom walkthrough of the dashboard (using fake client account) plus equipment recs from Tatem’s starter kit. Hermes to populate the doc.
  • Ben’s outbound partnership program: Ben is on board (outbound only, no cost to him). Blake to build outreach system: target list, email/domain sourced via Fiverr/Upwork, Lemlist campaign. Tatem to send Ben’s rate card to Blake after call.

Action Items

  • Michael: Message Josh’s Slack channel about voice card bug (frame as software issue, tag Tatem)
  • Tatem: Post in Josh’s Slack channel + tag Michael for follow-up; send Ben’s rate card to Blake
  • Tatem: Deliver Michael’s scripts by Oct 8 (Michael has no meetings, can film same day)
  • Blake: Follow up with Gem Studio client on onboarding form (traveling in London)
  • Blake: Start thread in ops channel with Hermes + Michael on partnership email/domain logistics
  • Blake: Build Ben’s outbound partnership outreach: target list, email pull, Lemlist campaign
  • Blake: Create generic onboarding Loom walkthrough using fake client account
  • Blake: Resend Thursday Megaphone sync invite to Tatem (email spelling: E not U)

New Business

  • Target: 3-5 new clients in October.
  • Outreach channels: X/LinkedIn/newsletter creators with no short-form video presence (easy wins), past Megaphone churned clients pitched on short-form video, newsletter (Ben’s 100K milestone as anchor), Michael posting on social starting Monday.
  • Michelle Kwok (Megaphone client) content sync Thursday at 11am PT / 2pm ET. She is interested in TikTok, wants a creative angle (e.g., Meta glasses, day-in-the-life VC content). Tatem to join last portion.

Notable Transcript Excerpts

“we have this big network of creators who have big audiences on X… LinkedIn, newsletters, but most of them have little to no presence on TikTok and Instagram, but they have this huge library of like an angle and content and a voice that we know will perform. I think they’d be really easy clients.”

  • Michael, on October new-business angle

“Adam is an exited founder with $200 million in the bank. This is a guy who's trying to make his $200 million right now.”

  • Michael, on why Gem Studio client engagement risk differs from Adam’s

“It automatically matches and it’ll say like confidence score on whether or not it’s the correct one, but it hasn’t messed up so far.”

  • Tatem, on the Jolt dashboard video-to-script matching system
