[Andrew Cheng]: game is bad. Like I haven’t figured out what’s going on with my sandwich or anything between any of the wedges I haven’t figured out. [Stephen OBrien]: Yeah, I mean, on paper right now and my coaches said this, he’s like, it’s time because we he was like, let’s let’s not hit any of these nice courses for a while. There’s a lot of my ease up country club membership so I can go to Brentwood and LACC and like but I’ve done none of that. [Stephen OBrien]: And we’ve just been kind of like, I built some bad habits over the last year, I saw one coach last year for a while and got my handicap from like a 20 plus to a 15. And then I feel really stalled out. And then seeing this new guy who’s like incredible and really rebuilt the swing and focused on a lot of like lower body mechanics. And then on paper or on virtual paper, Seems like I. Have the sauce to get. [Andrew Cheng]: Bet to kind of break through that 15 stall out, but you got to put some course time on. [Stephen OBrien]: Do you? [Andrew Cheng]: It’s one of those like we were my my dad used to joke around. He’s like, why aren’t you shooting like 70 or even 80? I’m like, Dad, if I was shooting that, I probably I probably wouldn’t be professionally doing what I’m doing right now. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: But you watch. Do you watch Birdogi at all? [Andrew Cheng]: I like this guy who, he’s like a, I think he’s about a 18 to 20 handicap, but he, he just is like, yeah, I just like, he’s one of those guys. He’s very relatable because he’ll go out there and like film his shots or film a whole hole. And then he’ll just be like, yeah, like I should be putting this into like, into the green. But then I’m always like, he always just shanks it halfway through. So he’s, I think for me, it’s very relatable, but yeah, I have all the mechanics to do. I just don’t do it. It’s just like, it’s just hard to put it together. [Stephen OBrien]: It’s really hard to stay consistent, you know, through a whole round. Because, like, I’ve had some amazing, like, either front or back nines, you know. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Usually the back nine is where I click on if I’m not, like, drinking heavily, because some of those, there’s some of those. [Stephen OBrien]: But, like, I’ve had some nines where I’ve shot, like, almost par, even par, you know. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Then I’ll have, like, absolutely, I’ll shoot, like, 50, know. [Stephen OBrien]: the other nine that blows your score up. So it’s crazy. 18 is a lot of holes. [Andrew Cheng]: It’s long. It’s long. [Stephen OBrien]: I almost feel like, you know, if it was 15 or 13, like I’d be fucking great. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yeah, I just had this conversation when we were playing two weeks ago. It’s like 14 seems to be the perfect amount. [Stephen OBrien]: 14 perfect, dude. You know, and it’s not like then. Then you’ve only got like, you know, a three hour round, right? It’s made. Right to be two and a half if people are playing, you know, on pace. Yeah, for sure. [Andrew Cheng]: You know, I still love the sport. [Stephen OBrien]: I’m glad I got really into it. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: It’s just such a fun, fun thing to do. [Stephen OBrien]: And it’s great for what my line of work to do. I got to do a lot of fundraising stuff here and all the guys playing golf. [Andrew Cheng]: So yeah, definitely. [Stephen OBrien]: Well, let’s keep in touch with them. Kind of curious how the round goes and what you’ve been learning to say. And figure it out. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Remind me where you’re based again? [Andrew Cheng]: I’m in the Bay Area. A lot of my golf friends do live in LA, so whenever we go down, we bring our clubs down or they bring their clubs up and we just play. [Stephen OBrien]: Get me posted when you’re coming down next time we can see if we can get out. Yeah, sounds good. [Stephen OBrien]: Just wanted a quick jam with you on like, how was your kind of Gatsby self, you know, kind of run through? [Andrew Cheng]: You know, I was able to do Cause I don’t think there’s anything loaded into our system. So interesting. [Stephen OBrien]: Um, maybe I need to have you meet with their team. Yeah, that could be it. [Andrew Cheng]: But one thing I did do after we did chat, um, last Wednesday or was it, I think it was Wednesday. Cause I had our designers start designing some templates. So we should have those ready by sometime next week. [Stephen OBrien]: Thank you, dude. And then on Monday next week, I’m going to do a big jam, you know, with our team, um, so that we can, uh, you know, really get sort of the contextual format, you know, kind of laid out for you. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: So you guys can have a bit of an idea of how it’s going to look every time we do them. Yeah, for sure. [Andrew Cheng]: That’d be great. I should, I should have reached out because I think. I think what I was I might have been expecting is maybe you were going to log into your Gatsby and so I could just take a look at like what’s going on, like how that works, but I should have been more clear that I didn’t really catch. I didn’t really see anything I could do here. [Stephen OBrien]: OK, yeah, I mean I can log in and show you a bit. [Andrew Cheng]: Yeah, I don’t do actually. [Stephen OBrien]: It’s a new platform we onboarded because we were using Brevo before. And this allows us to do a lot more in the back end, but I really like, Technically why it’s like I have we just got this like last month and we did like LP webinar like there’s so much you can do But here let me see Shit, my screen. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: You see this screen? [Andrew Cheng]: So like we had this LP webinar. [Stephen OBrien]: You know, you have like all the folks and so we’ll have like a lot of the same folks from this in and our target so we’ll get like all the email lists and figure it out okay yeah perfect that was any question I had yes I’m like oh you know kind of nothing that wild you know yeah you know, kind of all the, and you can customize whatever it is that we’re doing in there. And so we’ll kind of really iron that out. We can potentially work with the Gatsby team too, to help us kind of figure out like what are the things that we’re tracking in newsletters from responses and stuff like that. Um, yeah, I don’t think this is something that is, applicable because it was online. [Andrew Cheng]: Yeah, because on mine, I always see like events, lists and families. And I think there’s not much more we can play around with it until we start loading stuff into the system. [Stephen OBrien]: Yeah, I mean, I think we need to just load our templates in and then we can figure out what our flow is. Yeah, I can show you because we had this was like our thing, right? So it’s like Pretty customizable for what you can do. You can do that. A bunch of stuff around it. Let me see what else I can kind of show you in here. Events and lists. [Andrew Cheng]: That’s what you see right now. And plates. [Stephen OBrien]: Can you see templates and stuff? This is by guess. [Andrew Cheng]: So like your own templates, I guess. [Stephen OBrien]: that will live in here. And then for like each one that we do, we spin up new ones. [Andrew Cheng]: Can you even click into those? Cause I can’t click into them myself. [Stephen OBrien]: No, I can’t read an event. [Stephen OBrien]: Start from, Oh, you, you create an event and click in. [Andrew Cheng]: Oh, I see. [Stephen OBrien]: Yeah, maybe be helpful to like, get a tour with you guys, like the gas, you guys are down to help in all ways, right? [Andrew Cheng]: That team. [Stephen OBrien]: So maybe that would be helpful. [Stephen OBrien]: And just have like, just tell them what you need from them. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: They’re supposed to be working with us to on getting us like, what we need. Okay, so I can mention that we’re working together on this. [Stephen OBrien]: And then yeah, just asking for Yeah, I can definitely reach out to them and do that. [Andrew Cheng]: Yeah, I’ll just put you in touch via email. [Stephen OBrien]: OK, cool. Cool, yeah. [Andrew Cheng]: Then that’s cool. Yeah, sorry, I know you’re busy aside. I knew this. I don’t know. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: I want to just kind of go over and just see what we needed to do. You know, yeah. [Stephen OBrien]: But yeah, I think. Email right now. I think the best way to. [Andrew Cheng]: Can I, I can probably load a template in here, right? [Stephen OBrien]: Yeah, you can load stuff in. I’m just going to put you in touch with them. And let’s, we’ll just go over. Let me guess. [Stephen OBrien]: Who else? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Why isn’t that populated? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: So many external Slack connections. [Andrew Cheng]: I can’t find anything crazy. [Stephen OBrien]: Do you mostly work off Slack too? [Stephen OBrien]: I don’t even know dude. Yeah like I Guess part of its slack and most it’s like emails like a lot of it. I do a lot in slack I do a lot notion And then I’m kind of have the pathway in my like Palantir OS system to be able to do everything from there, okay, yeah Which is kind of one of the goals. [Andrew Cheng]: Cause if Slack works better for you, I’m also a big Slack guy. So I mean our, our whole company basically runs on Slack. So if you ever needed to jam quickly about something, I think Slack would probably be faster, but we can also, we should definitely set up a shared Slack. [Andrew Cheng]: I’ll, I’ll talk to how about that. Cause he has all the admin power. [Stephen OBrien]: Let’s shut up. [Andrew Cheng]: cool team members for that. [Stephen OBrien]: And we’ll go from there. Did you want to say where you went? [Andrew Cheng]: Oh, I said it up. If you set it up, that’d be great. I’ll reach out to have for that. [Stephen OBrien]: I’m connecting us with Gatsby and we’ll go from there. And then, um, awesome. Hey, I appreciate you, bro. [Andrew Cheng]: Yeah, you too. Enjoy the day. Thank you. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Thank you. Same to you. See ya.
