[UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: OK, so it’s just the twin itself. [Brett Kuprel]: There’s no B-roll. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, I didn’t add any effects because I thought I’d get your feedback. [Brett Kuprel]: And I’d maybe do it myself or work with you to do it. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, I mean, I think it’d be easier for me to generate some thoughts on the script, maybe async, not not live, but I can go through it and get back to you. [Brett Kuprel]: I just sent you the press release. So I just took that press release to put into Gemini. I’m sure you can make a better script. But it sounds more like Tim’s voice than the previous. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, I mean, would it help if we maybe take a step back and introduce ourselves? So yeah. So just for some context, like I run a content agency, is like one of our businesses. We work with him, we’ve worked with him for a few months now. We handle his written content and the Draper Associates written content on social, so like LinkedIn and X. And they have this other team that they have, I’m sure Michael’s giving you context on like the situation there. But I think when I came in, I sort of raised some concerns to her that, hey, maybe the quality wasn’t where we would want it to be. And so I think that’s probably how this conversation got started. And so we have video folks on our team who can help. But currently, that’s outside the scope of what we have set up contract-wise with the Draper team. So if we want to go that route and do this, which I think makes a ton of sense, because the twin that you’ve built is super dope and very smooth and clean, we’re happy to do that. I think I would want to have a conversation with Michael first just understood. Okay, what’s the budget for this on our side? [Brett Kuprel]: How’s this changing our contract? Like, gosh, meeting, but on Thursday, she is available. So I booked you on Thursday, too, if that’s okay. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, so after this, I’m gonna I’ll chat with her. And I’ll, I’ll come back to you. And you know, if we want to meet Thursday, we can. But yeah, I think I’ll have a chat with her to see how things are on our side. But like, in terms of this particular thing. I feel like I want to have that conversation before we start, you know, creating, um, more video stuff most likely. So let me chat with her today and then I can get back to you. [Brett Kuprel]: We can sort of, uh, 3 p.m. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Eastern time. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, of course I’m not, I have a three. Um, so I, I’ll circle up with her independently and we can sort of come back around. Um, whether that’s today, whether that’s maybe Wednesday. [Brett Kuprel]: It’d be great if I could get something to do for the next three days. [Michael Houck]: Could you guide me in a direction that’s useful? Yeah. I mean, can you give me some context on you? [Brett Kuprel]: I looked up your LinkedIn, but I don’t have much context. Oh, sure. Yeah. Sorry. So I guess I’m funded by Tim Draper. And he likes my persona. Of the most of all the companies he’s funded so far. So he kind of put me in touch with like his entire production crew, I’ve met like 10 different people in the last week. And he just wants this version of his persona everywhere. Some people are like, like Mark, he doesn’t want to be he doesn’t want to adapt or anything. So I don’t know the right way to deal with that. [Michael Houck]: No, Don’t don’t don’t worry about that. I think Yeah, Michael. I and tim are all sort of on the same page. I think about the situation with mark They’re locked and do some like longer-term contract with him So for context when I came on one of my first recommendations was like we should probably switch up the video situation and and Yeah, they said they’re in some long-term contract, but I think then they saw what you put together and they really loved it and so now we’re trying to find sort of a way out of that or around that. [Brett Kuprel]: It’d be great to just start a different name series, like, keep doing the Draperty Central, just start a different name. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, we don’t even need a name. All we need is socially optimized, social optimized, right? Need to be a series, right? [Brett Kuprel]: Okay, we don’t even need like a name for it. [Michael Houck]: So this will be posted on like Twitter, YouTube, or Twitter and, and LinkedIn for sure. And if If we end up wanting to do longer form stuff, too, we could do longer form YouTube. I’m not opposed to that. And then we could also create vertical versions of it and start a TikTok or an Instagram account for his digital twin, too. So we’ve seen success with that for some other folks. [Brett Kuprel]: So yeah, that’s definitely where we want to go. Great. Yeah, cool. Sounds good. Yeah, we don’t need a name then. What do you think? Be useful in the next three days? [Michael Houck]: I mean, well, if there’s not, this is like a press release, so I don’t know how time sensitive it is. But if we build up a couple of these that then my team can just take and add B-roll to and animate and things like that, then having that at some point this week will let us get started on it. But again, I don’t know if this stuff is super time sensitive. If they want to get a post out about this, just get like something out there like just to start iterating like so we can see like is this getting traction views met whatever metrics we’re trying to optimize like as soon as soon as we can get something out there is my I totally agree let me chat with Michael I have a couple back-to-backs after this but in like two hours or so I’ll be able to chat with her and then and then I’ll follow up with you make a plan for the rest of the week. And for context, I’m in transit tomorrow and on Friday, so I’ll be a little spottier than usual this week. [Brett Kuprel]: Cool, man. [Michael Houck]: Are you based in California or New York? I’ve lived in LASF and New York over the past 10 years, and currently I’m nomadic, just traveling around. That’s the way to go, man. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, just for some background, I bootstrapped and then had of funding for various companies over the last few years. We raised tremendous interest for my last venture-backed one. And then we have a fund, too. So I do a little bit of everything. The content agency is just sort of a fun and exciting part of it, I would say. So yeah. So let me get back to you. But I’m super bullish on this. I think the quality is clearly a step up. And we want to get this everywhere from our perspective, too. So we’re motivated. Let me just make sure things are copacetic with our contract with Draper, and then we can go from there. Great. [Brett Kuprel]: Thanks for making the time, Michael. [Michael Houck]: Of course, Ben. Good to meet, and looking forward to partnering up on these. Yeah, me too. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: All right. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Chat soon.
