[Ben Ornstein]: sets in under an hour combined. [Ben Ornstein]: Oh, I did. I looked at the score. This is the first tournament that I haven’t watched a single point of, cause I refuse to pay for TNT. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: So, um, I, yeah, I respect that stance. [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah. Um, yeah, I saw Tiafoe lost Tommy’s playing. Oh, Carlos. [Michael Houck]: So yeah, it’s 6061 so far. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: It’s wow. [Ben Ornstein]: minutes two sets. Holy crap. Okay. Yeah. [Ben Ornstein]: Um, Carlos is scary on clay. He’s scary. So yeah, I mean, Shelton had the best chance, but he’s just, he’s not quite there yet. [Michael Houck]: You know, he’s like, he’s closest every critical moment. I watched the whole match every critical moment. Like he just couldn’t win the tiebreaker, even though he had like double, double points to win it. And then he lost a tight game. We almost broke him the first game of the next And then he finally broke him in the next set, but then he got broken back immediately. He just can’t win the critical moments. [Ben Ornstein]: He’s got the game. It’s his backhand. It’s the one thing I talk about. That backhand has got to become more versatile. It’s just too flat. It doesn’t do anything. But I could talk about tennis with you all day long. [Michael Houck]: I really could. He could take a page out of Draper’s book in that regard. [Ben Ornstein]: Yes, the exact same. Issue that that he could improve upon. [Michael Houck]: Yeah Um, okay, so I you just sent over the agenda. So let me open this up. Um Okay, so you’re out next friday So I have I’m not necessarily out. [Ben Ornstein]: I will so I’ll be flying on thursday Some at some point in the day. I forget what time it actually is I have this bachelor party that I don’t even really want to go to but it’s um, it’s a weekend in arizona a good high school friend of mine that we’ve been friends forever. So I’m gonna fly to Arizona. I’m gonna find time to work. No, don’t worry about it. I mean, take the day. [Michael Houck]: You’re gonna be flying the day before. He’s probably gonna have stuff for you to do in the bachelor party. So just take the day. [Ben Ornstein]: So we deal. Okay. All right. Then that’s what I’ll do. And Thursday I will, obviously when I’m not flying, I will be working. So that is my plan. [Michael Houck]: Okay, that’s fine. Just remind me when we have our one-on-one next week, but I’ll make a note on my calendar too. And then, I guess, yeah, I guess that wouldn’t really delay too much, because you’ll have viral examples. Viral examples are already done, basically. So, for Thursday. So, yeah, I think we’ll be fine. No big deal. [Ben Ornstein]: I’ll check in. I’ll front load anything we are doing. Doing, obviously. So we’ll check in earlier in the week to make sure that that is a day that can be taken off, if that makes sense. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, it’s actually nice. Now that you don’t have the content up stuff on your plate, you actually do have some more flexibility there. [Ben Ornstein]: I will say that part is nice. But yes, you’re right. In terms of that kind of stuff. [Michael Houck]: Yeah. Cool. Okay. So you want to start from the top? [Ben Ornstein]: Just chat through Yeah, um, it was just, it was just an off day. I don’t, I don’t really know, um, why or what happened. Um, but I guess I was either confused on the ask for what was supposed to happen, but I thought I had it correct because we, I don’t know, regardless, it was a mistake in so many ways. Um, you did tell me it was my top priority. It’s not going to happen again. I just want to keep it at that. And just, it was a disaster. No, it’s all good. [Michael Houck]: I think that like my read on it was basically that, you know, you, you’ve taken on a lot of responsibility with regard to making sure that Andrew is set up for all these different things that he has to do that, you know, all these nuances of that, you know, he’s going to run into them if you don’t tell them to them and and coach him through it. So I just feel like, you know, if he hasn’t gotten it by now, he’s got to do trial by fire basically. And so let’s just throw them in there and see what happens. Um, and let you, your mental bandwidth just sort of be freed up to prioritize stuff like on one, like vertical one vector rather than having to prioritize your own vector versus this, like other part of the business that he’s now, uh, taking on. So, I think for complexity reasons, that’s just probably the easiest way to, I mean, that’s what we want anyways, why we hired him, right? So I think it just makes the most sense that that’s my read on like the root of the confusion there. Cause I think, yeah, so we’ll see. And if I can communicate anything more clearly on my end in terms of like how we want these things structured, I know sometimes I can be brief over text, right? Like I try to, pretty concise. So, um, if there’s ever a case where it’s not clear, um, just, just, just let me know. But, um, yeah, I think we, you know, we always want to try to provide with these campaigns. I know this is new to, or this isn’t something that we have like a playbook for or anything like that, but we always want to get them to work with as many creators in as many ways as possible. So, um, if he’s like, yeah, I want to do Twitter. Well, let’s include LinkedIn in newsletters, then I can sing the virtues of why he should do that. And maybe he doesn’t, but yeah. And I also think your suggestion of a centralized master sheet for all these creators, maybe that also notes what campaigns they participated in in the past, that would be valuable as we’re setting up all these other ones at the same time now. [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah, so I started I started to create that and then you know a whole bunch of other stuff happened but that’s gonna be this for especially for like external creators too because like we have a lot of the data for internal ones that will be massive and it’ll be really valuable actually to have. [Michael Houck]: It’s super valuable and like that’s like the more that people that we have in this network like I think right now you know when you combine active creators inactive creators per megaphone and these new ones who are bringing in through the campaigns we probably have like 500 in total right now maybe not all the rates for all of them but that’s like our our pool size our roster size man if with the outreach that you and rena are doing if we can get that to double over the summer like we can go to people when we think about selling the combined business and be like hey we have a thousand creators they have 50 million combined followers in all these niches and we have their rates and they’re okay with our commission and blah, blah, blah. It’s just, it’s another asset. I actually think it’s probably, maybe not the most valuable, maybe it is the most valuable of the assets that we’re gonna be including in the sales, the creator relationships. So the great part about that is we still have those after we sell them, right? So I just think it’s very high leverage for us to do that. And you know, in a couple of weeks, we’ll be importing all that stuff into the platform and we won’t need some Google Sheet, but I think because you’re balancing like six or seven campaigns or whatever it is right now that we’re trying to set up, let’s just set that up and pull from that for each individual folks that we work with. [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah, I’ll definitely prioritize that. That was one of the, I started to do it last week and it took a lot of time because especially the biggest issue is when I’ve done the outreach to these creators, I’ve gone back to them and said like, Hey, can you provide your most updated rates? Sometimes they change it. [Michael Houck]: Sometimes they change the rates. Yeah, that’s the tricky part, because some of the rates we might have gotten, and then they add 50,000 followers in three months, and then it’s like, well, you know. So that’s why we just need to check in for each individual campaign with them. But I’d just be like, hey, are these rates still current? Whatever. But yeah, and then the issue with the numbers. So yeah, I had Mahul write a query last night to pull like data. And he looked through the code base and was like, he doesn’t work on the backend. So we kind of had to like piece it together between the two of us. But we realized that the number that is in the database is the overall number. So that’s what creators put in knowing that we are 30% of that number. That was what I thought. [Ben Ornstein]: And I was, I was, my head was when I messaged last night, my head was spinning. It actually was. I was out of control. Database was that’s what I thought it was. Yeah. [Michael Houck]: So we, we don’t, we don’t need to add the extra 30 on top of that. Cause it’s already, it’s already there. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: I think existing creators, right. Right. [Michael Houck]: What confused me was that, you know, because we don’t normally do these campaigns with engagements, we do them with the sponsored posts. I was like, are these numbers right? Are these numbers right? [Ben Ornstein]: I just didn’t have a good sense of it in my brain. Yeah. But yeah, I apologize for that. I think also the compressed timeline and the fact that it was engagements for the first time, just all of that combined was just, it was out of control. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, I saw that too. And I was like, he’s really pushing us timeline and this isn’t the normal type of campaign that we do. Um, and also you have like five other people messaging you being like, I’m ready for my creators, you know, like, right. [Ben Ornstein]: So there’s, it was all of that, but regardless there, there’s no excuse. Um, uh, on the Andrew side, I have definitely been babying him more and it’s not his, this is not something that he’s doing wrong. I was slowly bringing him more and more things. He did all the scheduling other than like the Augment ones the past week, all himself. He asked me a few questions and you know, we hopped on. [Michael Houck]: As he will, as he will, right? So yeah, so I added him to the Augment channel and the Draper channel this morning. And he’s, I know he’s waiting on like the Kayla Barnes newsletter thing to be switched over, which Kayla emailed me back, but about the wrong part of the email. I feel like her reading comprehension is pretty low or she just doesn’t care. I don’t know. But I have to email her again about the other thing. So hopefully that’ll get resolved. We can end the old domain and all that. [Ben Ornstein]: MailChimp is super fast though. I could easily handle that. Andrew messaged me. There’s a template in there. It takes five minutes to post the content in. [Michael Houck]: I mean, if I email her again and she doesn’t switch us over, over, you know, you could just give him the email, like access to the mantle email and just, but I don’t want to maintain two emails. [Ben Ornstein]: That’s the last one that’s using it. I know it’s so annoying. [Michael Houck]: It’s fine. It’s not a big deal. We’re going to figure it out. [Ben Ornstein]: But yeah, so just in Andrew in general, I wanted to say he’s been doing pretty good. Sometimes his replies are a little bit too generic and I get you know, direct feedback right away, like, this is wrong for this reason, here’s what you should do instead. And he’s very receptive to it. So he, I think he’s doing great on the replies. He’s starting to understand the different clients’ little specifics. And so, yes, he’s now, he did reporting by himself as well. Again, we had the small issue with Workmate, a couple things here and there, but… It’s expected, right? [Michael Houck]: Again, this is the first couple weeks he’s doing this. I’m not expecting perfection. And I’m expecting that when things come up, he knows how to communicate to you and or me, and we can help him. But for the most part, at this point, he should be, he’s been in the role for a month, right? Like about a month. So he should be autonomous at this point. And I think it’s fair to just let that happen. And if issues come up, we deal with them. Yeah, obviously, with Augment, probably pay a little bit more attention. Because they’re a little tricky. But yeah, I trust him. I feel like he, I feel like he’s, he’s process-oriented and also, unlike you, he has a singular focus. So like, you’re pulled in a million different directions, you got a ton of priorities going on, he’s like content ops, right? So I feel like he’ll handle that and he’ll be all right. Yeah, I think so too. [Ben Ornstein]: And so yeah, on the Andrew side, I’m confident as well, timing-wise it works out since I’m gonna be traveling this week, so. Yeah, no, it is is good and I think I’m confident in them. So I’m sorry, just to go back to the travel. [Michael Houck]: Are you flying back on Monday or are you flying back on Sunday? [Ben Ornstein]: Sunday, I’ll be back. I’ll be back for Monday. Just a, you know, impressed weekend. It’ll be, it’ll be fun. [Michael Houck]: But yeah, have a good time. [Michael Houck]: Where in Arizona are you going to Phoenix or Scottsdale or what? [Ben Ornstein]: Scottsdale, yeah. I’ve never, I’ve never been, I’ve never been, I haven’t been on the West Coast. Thank God. I couldn’t even tell you how long. I think 2015 was the last time I went. So. [Michael Houck]: Well, it’ll be hot middle The mailboxes are melting. For sure. [Ben Ornstein]: And all the other things that you were writing, my work needs to be high quality. I have nothing else to say other than yes. It’s decreased, it has. Again, I think the root cause is the Andrew stuff. [Michael Houck]: I think it’s just taking up too much of your mental bandwidth and you’re like, I need to manage this guy. I need to make sure this guy isn’t making any of the mistakes I made. I think it’s freaking you out a little bit. My hypothesis is that decoupling this a little bit will solve the issue. So I’m not, I’m not worried about it. [Ben Ornstein]: Sounds good. Um, yeah. And for number three that you wrote, I just had, I think I just had an off day. It was, it was just one of those days. Um, but yeah, no, I appreciate you being, you know, this is the kind of feedback I want to hear. Um, like, and I appreciate, I do appreciate it. So yeah. Of course, I need to know what I’m fucking up, you know? [Michael Houck]: As do I, if I’m doing stuff that’s making your life harder, like let me know, you know? Like with number four, like if I am putting too much on your plate and you are feeling spread too thin, like I will notice, but I will notice when things are already going wrong, you know? [Ben Ornstein]: It’s- Which is not ideal, that’s too late. Right, exactly, exactly. So no, on the same page, it’s been a better day. [Michael Houck]: I just want to say like, I hope you know, like, I don’t want to go through and list everything, but I hope you know that I really do value what you put in and how much you care and how passionate you are about what we do. Um, and also just how good at a bunch of different things that you are and how much easier you make my life and this business. So I hope that’s clear. If it’s ever really not clear, like we can talk about it, but, um, I hope it’s clear, you know, Yeah, no, I appreciate it. [Ben Ornstein]: Um, again, it all comes back to just, it was a tough day. [Michael Houck]: So I feel like it’s all good, man. [Ben Ornstein]: Happens to the best of us. Yeah. Um, but I’m excited to move forward because I do, I am passionate about this business and I do like what we’re doing. So, um, on the, so yeah, I guess for Andrew, he now has access to knows the county had it and then he lost it, but he’s got it back. Um, So I basically told him every single thing I could think this morning of what you need to remember for Augment and why. So I made it quite clear that he’s very specific and things can’t be wrong. I didn’t even tell him the fact there are quarterly contract and it matters even more. When is that one up, by the way? I told him that. [Michael Houck]: It’s up at the end of this month. So the good news is with the numbers that we saw on Noel’s account last month, I think we already hit our quarterly goals. So yeah, yeah. I didn’t update it for after this week. [Ben Ornstein]: I didn’t do that. Or after after the previous week. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, but like if we were at 164k before, if we added 230k or whatever it was from Noel’s account last week, like obviously, I don’t know what the engagement and follower numbers are. But Just on the impressions alone, we’re going to blow it out of the water with a month still to go. So I’m less worried about the renewal now that we have that week, because basically what we’re saying is that, hey, you know, we set goals that we all thought were fair and we blew them out of the water. We were clearly hitting onto something. Now, the key is that the post that did well, those were our posts, right? It wasn’t something that he posted. [Ben Ornstein]: The one that he just posted last week was his post, the one that Damn, really? [Michael Houck]: Yeah. That’s happened twice now, right? [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah, it has, which is crazy. [Ben Ornstein]: But I don’t understand why. This was a post about his previous company, Rubrik, or Rubrik, whatever. I don’t understand why this one did so well. [Ben Ornstein]: That’s frustrating. [Michael Houck]: Let me look at the post, hold on. [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah, it’s kind of really annoying, actually, because then it’s just like, Yeah, this is not the first time this has happened It looks like he puts a megaphone budget behind it. He got some creators on there that I recognize in the comments Oh, so, I mean that helps I mean to be honest the the megaphone he loves megaphone I remember when he messaged right away and he was like how great job with megaphone. This is sick So like I guess the other agencies don’t have that if you were to ever even consider leaving You know, it’s the one-two punch that we give them with that Yeah, but it’s more budget right like he could say oh, I’ll just post and I’ll just use megaphone for my own posts and That’s true. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, so That’s tough. I’m looking at this post the rubric founders have hit have all hit trace commas It’s not even spelled right today all-time high. I Don’t know what this means. Oh, they’re all billionaires. I got it Yeah, I mean I don’t know. I don’t necessarily see this as a viral post. [Michael Houck]: I’m surprised it went viral, honestly. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yep. [Michael Houck]: Okay, so if we remove that post, right? I’m just gonna delete it for one second here. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Sure. [Michael Houck]: If we remove that post, yeah, then we haven’t really, we’ve had one week that got impressions. That was from us, right? [Ben Ornstein]: 428? I hope so. I think so. 428, let’s see. [Michael Houck]: Unless 428 was that one with the bunk bed. [Michael Houck]: No, no, that was back in like February or early March or something. [Ben Ornstein]: Okay. [Ben Ornstein]: Then it might have been ours then, actually. [Michael Houck]: This is the Q1 top 20 pre-IPO companies. Oh, yeah. [Ben Ornstein]: Then That was the Power 20 report. That was definitely one that we helped with then. [Michael Houck]: And then there’s a meme. Mom, why are we so rich? Your father invested in pre-IPO companies. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: That one did well too. [Michael Houck]: That was one of ours too. Yep. Okay, cool. So it’s not like we have zero hits, but it is unfortunate that the two best performing posts, the two outliers are both things that we did not post. I don’t love that. Yeah. [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah. Yeah, I didn’t notice that. [Michael Houck]: Okay, so we’ll have to consider how to frame that in the next content meeting, and also the renewal sync with with them so I need to have that on my radar but I’m going to stress to Jacob we really need, we really need some hits over the next like two weeks on the account. Because if we remove that, then I think we’ll probably still on pace for the goal, but it’s not like, Yeah, it’s not like as much of a no brainer at that point, right? For sure, for sure. [Ben Ornstein]: So that’s the I’m going to make a note because that is a concern. One other thing on the The any metal campaign. So I noticed that we had Hassan Tor, we have his rates in here. He’s not active amplifier. He must’ve been in a previous one? [Michael Houck]: Yeah, he’s on a megaphone. His account got suspended for a while, but I think he got it back. Okay. We turned him inactive when his account got suspended, because he was obviously not able to respond to any requests at the time. [Ben Ornstein]: So I didn’t see that one, and so I reached out to him and asked him what his rates were for a repost and a quote post, and they are higher than what we have. [Michael Houck]: We can have Rina talk to him. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: They talk over Telegram or whatever. [Michael Houck]: Okay, got it. Did Johan select him as one of the ones? [Ben Ornstein]: He did. And there’s, so there are two others that this issue. So I reached out to Alana for some reason, even though we had her numbers in here. And she said the repost number was fine, but she wants to do less quote posts. And so she had this ridiculous rate, it was much higher than what her megaphone one was. She hasn’t responded to me yet. I said like, hey, you know, the client’s interested. [Michael Houck]: In these cases, whatever they are, can you just loop me into the email threads if there are email threads? [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah. So one of my ways to make this process shorter was I BCC’d everyone so I could just add all the emails in at once. [Michael Houck]: Okay. What domain are you doing that from [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: What email domain? [Michael Houck]: Megaphone.network. Okay. Be careful with that. And fuck up deliverability for emails. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Oh shit, I had no idea. [Michael Houck]: Not with one time, but like, don’t make that part of your process is what I mean. [Ben Ornstein]: Okay, okay, I did not know that at all actually, but it makes total sense. [Michael Houck]: It was like an early, early days trick to send email blasts to people and so it’s penalized. [Ben Ornstein]: Okay, good to know that I’m glad we brought this up then, cause I would have kept doing that. So the, Alana is one of those. And then Eli Weiss, luckily we don’t have a number in here, but I asked him, I said, which one, his rates are insane. He’s actually just like Alana. [Michael Houck]: I know, I know Eli, yeah. [Ben Ornstein]: And so he said he’d prefer to skip the campaign. If I gave him like a suggested range, like I said, like if you could get a repost and quote post under 250, you’d be in good, you’d be, you’d give yourself a good chance. Them to select you. [Michael Houck]: That’s what I said. [Michael Houck]: All right, well, we can just tell John he’s not interested in that and just do a comment then it’s fine. [Ben Ornstein]: Okay, understood. Those are the only ones that that those issues were for. So, but I did want to bring those up. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, I think, just add me to the email threads and I’ll, I’ll handle it because we’ve, if they gave us these rates and that’s what we have, then, you know, I’d rather not have to go back to the client and be like, look, it’s more, you know, so, um, just let me into the email threads. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: I’ll, I’ll take care of it. [Michael Houck]: You’re there. [Ben Ornstein]: You’re back. Oh my goodness. Oh my God. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: You’re echoing with yourself. I’m going to just shut off my computer. [Ben Ornstein]: I’m going to kick your other. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, please do. I didn’t even touch anything this time, which is weird. [Ben Ornstein]: That’s odd, because I, I really didn’t touch anything this time. [Michael Houck]: Anyway, um, yeah, so just just add me to those email threads and I’ll take care of it. [Ben Ornstein]: Sounds good. Um, okay. Cool. Okay. [Michael Houck]: So then I’ll, I’ll reply to his comments on here after we, well, I guess he asked about repost from Daniel Eckler. So you can take that one, but I’ll reply about Eli. Um, but just add me to the email threads personnel. I’ll take it from there. Also, one of the things that’s interesting here is that the people he’s picking are not folks who I necessarily, in some cases would have expected him to pick. [Ben Ornstein]: Me too, actually, which is interesting. [Michael Houck]: And this makes me think that he might be interested in a wider range of people than like just in his niche. So there might be a case to go to Raphael and see if he can give you more megaphone creators. And you just sort of add some more folks in here and see what Johan thinks. [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah, well, actually, I’ve, um, I actually know how to a little bit now, a little bit. So I do have ways to manipulate those DBs a little bit. [Michael Houck]: So- All I’m saying is like, just maybe pull in some more people who, I think what Johan is going for is two things. I think he’s going for credibility in like the San Francisco world and Twitter world, and also AI stuff. So I think, yeah, that’s my hypothesis. Sounds good. [Ben Ornstein]: So I will add in more creators that fit that a little bit. And I will not reach out to them until, well, I will, but their rates, I will put in their exact rates. [Michael Houck]: What’s the combined cost of all this? Like he’s got, let’s see, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800. Fifty nine hundred bucks. He’s got in here so far. [Ben Ornstein]: So it’s a small campaign Which is surprising to me like I’m surprised he doesn’t want to go for with the budget they have They can get like sponsored posts and get so much more reach. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, it doesn’t really make a lot of sense to me to be honest But you know, they’re the client so it’s fine. Yeah You sound like maybe maybe just layer in more creators and be like look we can really blow this up more, if you want, you know, for sure. [Ben Ornstein]: That will be my plan. Okay, so I’ll add more. Speaking of campaigns, then, so I did all the outreach for the aviation and trellis health campaigns. So, you know, people are trickling in there. And we’ll just wait and see. Those are those are done. Venus is curating Peerview AI and sheet Sherlock and you said to hold off on meet near me. So we are told Also, those are that’s the full list of active one. [Michael Houck]: So with it all we have four others plus meet near me. Basically, I Believe so. [Ben Ornstein]: I’m gonna go through my email one more time to make sure I didn’t miss any active ones, but I’m Fairly confident that is that is the whole list. [Michael Houck]: So Let’s say half of them convert. So let’s say three out of the five or six, whatever, convert, if we’re doing a couple thousand per, then yeah, that email made us more revenue than a featured placement would have. So that’s cool. [Ben Ornstein]: Yep, absolutely, which would be great. So yeah, on campaign side, that’s that. But okay, the ad side, a couple of interesting things. So I didn’t even think to read, when you said yesterday on the call to reach out to I didn’t even think to even do that. So I used I reached out to her about the Read.AI one the one that you sent this morning right like 1 a.m To create like a template that we could edit Yeah, cuz we need to be able to write the copy. [Michael Houck]: She’s not gonna be able to write the copy. [Ben Ornstein]: Yep So I gave her proposed copy for one of those To just put it in there and then when I was doing some more research research, I also found this tool that I was, where I was able to do, I paid for one month of it just to test it out. You can take a screenshot of something and it breaks it down and makes it in, um, in a Figma editable piece and it works. Um, send you the first version of one of them. Um, it works. [Michael Houck]: That’s cool. [Michael Houck]: We should totally use it. Cause I’ll make, that’ll make editing other people’s ad formats really Exactly. [Ben Ornstein]: Well, for the static ones, it’ll work. And so that is what I will go for. And I’m just, I’m creating more formats with the ones that you’ve sent. Cool. Okay. [Michael Houck]: I’ll keep an eye out throughout the week. I got to take those airplane ones live tonight. So I’ll do that. [Michael Houck]: But yeah, sounds good. [Michael Houck]: Our budget, our spend for the week is already, our CPA is already down a bit. It’s still not it’s at like 260, but it’s down. And the good news is it seems like readers are liking that needs to exist lead magnet that we have in the welcome sequence. They’re not opting into TLDR that much. Only a couple people have opted in, probably because they see TLDR ads everywhere, right? But the needs to exist thing, not a lot of people know about them. And so we have like a hundred people who’ve already signed up for them through us, and we get a dollar per subscriber. So it’s not huge, right, because we’re spending $1,500 a week. So a hundred dollars over the course of like two or three weeks is like nothing, but it’s something. Um, and I do think it’s a viable resource, so I’m fine. [Ben Ornstein]: Kind of keeping that one in there. Okay, cool. That’s good to know. Um, so the ad side, I’m still, I should still be focused on pitch deck and, um, investor database, right? Yeah, correct. [Michael Houck]: We don’t want to do anything without a, without a lead magnet. It doesn’t make sense. Our CPA will be higher if we do that. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yep. [Michael Houck]: Okay. Um, One thing we’re going to want to do later this month is brainstorm new lead magnets. Because these lead magnets, while they’re relevant for our audience, our audience right now is interested in AI stuff and how to do stuff with AI. So I think we just need some lead magnets for that. [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah, like an automation database of the best tools or something like that. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, like what companies are building AI employees for your business that you can hire. Of hiring humans or whatever, right? [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah, no, that definitely makes sense. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Cool. [Ben Ornstein]: Okay, that makes sense. So yeah, I’m gonna keep cranking out stuff on that side, but this AI tool could be really interesting for the static one specifically, and I’ll look around for other things. If I only do static, that’s not good, right? [Michael Houck]: Like we should be doing video ads Well, I mean not necessarily not every week right like Let’s just we just need volume. We just need to test different concepts. So I don’t care what it is Just whatever you can get done that week. [Ben Ornstein]: Let’s let’s do it Okay, then I will write for right now at least focus on static and optimize for volume Yeah, I mean right now we have more videos out there that are performing. [Michael Houck]: Well Okay, and then last thing is the content research yeah, just keep doing that I think my mind is getting a little bit better at identifying what a good concept for one of these videos should be. I’m not there yet. I don’t have it yet. But for now, let’s just keep doing these and hopefully we see one break out over the summer or something like that. So I’ll keep thinking about ideas. I think I can see you’re getting closer though. [Ben Ornstein]: You’re saying like, hey, this one for this reason did well, maybe we get and you optimize the title, you know, you keep optimizing the packaging. [Michael Houck]: If you look at the different components, right? It’s like, it’s the, it’s the thumbnail. It’s which I think we’re okay at thumbnails. I mean, we could be better for sure. But like, I think we use some best practices titles. I think we’re weak. And I think structuring the script based on title, I think we’re weak at that. The editing I think is good. Like I think knows what they’re doing. You give them notes and you fix the stuff. Then I do a final review. I think that works. I don’t have any issues with that. I think our hooks can get stronger, but I don’t think they’re terrible. So I’m going to keep working on those. I really think the number one thing is, it goes back to the J. Klaus thing, right? Thinking about it from the packaging first, and then also thinking about it with this lens of curiosity. What’s the itch that the title creates that makes someone want to click and learn about it, right? The Clowner video, I don’t think had that to the degree that it needed to. Although Hiten Shah, I don’t know how to pronounce his name, Shah’s video isn’t doing much better. He only has 253 views and he posted it like, I don’t know, 36 hours ago or 32 hours ago or something. But yeah, I think we just need that itch. Like we need something that’s like, oh, I can’t not this once I read the title, you know, I have to know. [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah, no, you’re right. [Ben Ornstein]: If we crush the title, in addition to what we’re already doing. I think that could Yeah, no, it’s gonna be fun. Like, you know, psychologically, like, how can we get this perfect title and hook? [Michael Houck]: Those are the two areas that I feel like you’re gonna make the biggest difference because the storytelling with the script, we’re good. We actually, once people get past like the first minute or so, our drop-off rate is pretty solid. We don’t lose a lot of people through the story once they’re interested. The key is that we need to get a higher percentage of those people interested at the start, and obviously get more people into the video with the clicks. So we’ll do these for now. I’m going to do the Telegram one this week. We’ll get that live next Saturday. And then we’ll do Apple, and we’ll do Peter Thiel. If you want to send over any thoughts on for the Peter Thiel and the Apple one Maybe we start there before you get too too deep in the research but you know obviously with some of the some of the info because I just want to make it like it’s never like even like five examples of titles for both of them and Just like why you think it makes people have to click We can we can work we can riff riff off of that. [Ben Ornstein]: Okay, that’s a good idea I have titles for each. I’m optimizing my research process a little bit too, which is making things a little bit faster. Which is good. Cool, OK, five titles for each so we can optimize before I do that. OK, I will do that and then loop you into. I’ll do that after by myself. All right. Okay. Yeah, that sounds good. I think we’re good. Cool. Sounds good, man. I’m excited for these. [Michael Houck]: So I probably won’t have time to do the telegram script today, because I have a few other I have to do some stuff for megaphone. But yeah, I will record that this week. And we’ll, we’ll get it to the editing team for the end of the week. So they have a full week to do it. Sounds good. I do. I’ll talk to you. All right. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: See you.
