[Michael Houck]: The last few have been pretty wild for you. [Charlie Banks]: Yeah, last week was pretty crazy just because people are starting to turn on their ACs and discovering new problems. And then I feel like this week with spring break and then the Masters, everyone in Atlanta is just slowing down. [Michael Houck]: I was thinking about going, because I’m going to be in Charleston on Friday. So I was thinking about driving down to Augusta I mean, realistically, it’s probably like 1500 bucks for, for a resale ticket. It’s, it’s not terribly bad. Um, but yeah, I mean, prices are crazy. Yeah. Yeah. [Charlie Banks]: It’s maybe I need to be looking somewhere other than StubHub. Don’t do that. I mean, it’s, it’s, it I’m on standby for Friday. So I’m like clear out the schedule just waiting for the the invite How do you get on standby? Is that on the website or whatever? No, I’ve got a I got a couple different avenues One of my best friend works for live golf and He works on Dustin Johnson’s team and he’s trying to get me a ticket for Friday and then I One of my other buddies has family tickets that the person he invited is TBD right now. [Michael Houck]: I’m the backup. I hope TBD remains. Yeah. Yep. I’m going to get down to South Carolina. [Charlie Banks]: You’re going to love it. Yeah, I’m really excited. Only driven through before. [Michael Houck]: Never, never been in North Carolina, been the Outer Banks. But never, never South. So I’m pumped. How was, was Brett helpful by the way? Did you guys get to connect? [Charlie Banks]: I don’t think we’ve connected yet. I’ve taken so many meetings, so forgive me. [Michael Houck]: I can ping him again. His uncle is like super connected in the, especially in New York, but also just global commercial real estate. [Charlie Banks]: So yeah, Spark yesterday, which went well, we’ll have a follow up. And then I had a group called DPI this morning, that based out of Atlanta, they do a ton of commercial real estate stuff. And also do, they’ve invested in like an HVAC financing company before. So understand the space, we had a good conversation. And then pretty far DD with a group called Gridcap. And I a capital right now nice. [Michael Houck]: I Have a few other folks who have still feelers out to go either spring break too, but I’ll ping everyone again specifically for the The real estate side either they or someone they know could be could be a fit. So I’ll let you know how it goes Let’s let’s talk some content man blow So is the, so are you guys remind me, you guys are thinking LinkedIn more so than other platforms or what, what are you thinking? [Charlie Banks]: That’s yeah. LinkedIn. Um, I just, I don’t know. And like, maybe just shame on me for like not doing it and not like pushing myself to do it. Like Instagram and Tik TOK, I just don’t know how effective it would be for, you know, targeting, property managers, building owners and brokers. That’s what I fear. Yeah. [Michael Houck]: I mean, I, I think that Instagram you’ll get some because, um, you know, when you’re in more so the property management space, I would say there’s a lot of like showiness, visual marketing, things like that. But the problem is it’s a lot harder to grow on Instagram in particular. Um, so personally I bias more towards the written content platform just for that reason. The video, like it’s more of a crap shoot and TikTok firework count doesn’t really mean that much. Instagram it does, but it’s harder to grow. So it’s like, you know, it’s a little tricky balance to, to wait. So if you guys wanted to lean into the visual stuff, then I would say probably Instagram. Um, but to start out just like not going to take up a ton of your time. Um, easy to get going, easy to grow. LinkedIn is probably what I would, what I would recommend too. [Charlie Banks]: Yeah. That’s what I thought. And like majority of these guys, they just sit in their office and just troll LinkedIn. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yeah. [Charlie Banks]: I’m focused on. Um, that makes sense. [Michael Houck]: Um, okay. So LinkedIn, and then would we have a goal for where we’d want to send those folks to just like the main website or is it like, do you want to set up some funnel? Like what, what are you thinking there? [Charlie Banks]: Um, yeah, main website and like funnel to me, right? Like funnel to setting up an appointment with me where I can talk to them and, and, and sell. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Right. [Charlie Banks]: That’s, that’s the thought there. Um, and we, we had some really good success like announcing and like had a ton of funnel, but I feel like it’s just gotten stale. Right. [Michael Houck]: I mean, look, if people get inundated on, on the, on their feed with new, every day. You got to stay top of mind. It’s not just about capturing someone once, it’s about them seeing quality stuff coming from the same guy over and over again and building trust that way, right? That’s sort of the name of the game. So yeah, look, I mean, we can help. It’s myself and Blakey Mall, who has an even bigger audience than I do. He was the first CMO at Copy AI. So the two of us sort of lead the agency He edits everything. And we have a team of writers who we worked with for a long time. So work with a ton of founders. Don’t put any meetings on your calendar. It’s all async through Slack. Voice notes, if you want to send rambly voice notes, that’s sort of our preferred way of gathering context from you. And the frequency and amount and formats are totally up to you. We sort of strategize on that together. But yeah, I mean, it’s pretty low lift and sort of set up for founders. So if that’s the channel that you think makes sense, then we can definitely help if it’s the right time. [Charlie Banks]: Yeah. I’m definitely interested. I hired on an admin that’s taking a ton off my plate. She’s a marketing background and is doing content for us. But I would say that content would be coming out once a week. They wanted to organize it between you guys and me together. But yeah, we just need to be staying top of mind on the LinkedIn feed for everyone. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, so I mean, we could do it where you’re doing like, either maybe three long form posts per week, or like, five to 10 short form posts per week, we’re showing up every day, in my opinion, you get more benefit with the longterm ones. It’s the same sort of, we sort of price it the same way on our side, but strategically higher ceiling on LinkedIn with the longer form ones. Um, cause of like dwell time on the, on the, on the feed and also just correspond more to it. They react more to it. They have more to say about it. So that’s why I recommend at least three times a week, sort of getting in front of people that way. Um, we have strong CTAs in there where we’re sending people to either follow you or to go grab a call. Uh, or something like that. So yeah, pretty low lift on your side. If you wanted to sort of have her be the main voice on your side, all we need from you is like, hey, if questions come up during our research that we sort of need your unique POV and expertise on, just give us like a two, three minute voice note where you ramble. And that’s all we need. Um, if you want to do that, uh, it’s 4k, uh, per month and that’s sort of all inclusive scheduling. Um, um, uh, and content creation and profile optimization, um, strategy advice we can throw in there too. Normally we, that’s like extra, but, um, you know, because, because we’re already sort of partnered up on stuff, happy to do that. Probably throw a little discount on there too, because. Want to keep as much cash flow in the company for you guys. So I don’t want to, don’t want to screw you out. So we can, we can throw a little discount on there that we normally only give to folks who are like doing multiple accounts with us or something like that. [Charlie Banks]: Yeah. Okay, cool. Um, I’m definitely interested. [Charlie Banks]: Um, I need to share it with the team because of course, sorry, my wife’s yelling at me. [Michael Houck]: No, you’re good. [Charlie Banks]: Yeah. All right. I gotta hop. Let me know. [Michael Houck]: We’ll go from there. I’ll send over some details. That’d be great. Cool. [Charlie Banks]: Good to see you. Have fun in the Carolinas. And I’m jealous. I’ll talk to you later. Talk to you later, man.
