[Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: No worries. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Doing good. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: How are you guys doing? Good. Excited to get through some of this. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Catch up. [Jameson Pitts]: Yes. Indeed. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: I’m almost never worried about you guys. You guys are pretty tight. You’re always on it. Oh, thank you. We try. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: We try. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: Hey, Michael. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: How’s it going? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Hey, hey. [Michael Houck]: What’s up, guys? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: How’s everyone doing? [Jameson Pitts]: Thanks for getting me that quote so fast. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: I’m talking to Noel right after this. [Michael Houck]: Love it. [Michael Houck]: Yeah. Happy to deliver. I’m back. I’m no longer in transit, as you can see. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: I feel like you’re always everywhere. [Michael Houck]: You’re always on the move. Yeah, it’s a it’s a this is like my my 26 weeks of finding out where I want to live. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: So it’s a lot of travel right now. Yeah, that’s a lot of weeks. Hi, Ben. How’s it going? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Good. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: How you doing? [Michael Houck]: Yeah, I invited Ben, I think he’ll be on these calls kind of going forward. So Excited to have him about part of this, uh, this, uh, this culture. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Perfect. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Love it. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Let’s see. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Interesting. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: We still admit people, even if they’re invited. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Hey, Tom, how’s it going? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Good. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: How are you? [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Doing well. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Do you know if Cass is coming or? [Ty Aravazhi]: Just me from Money Marketers today. [Ty Aravazhi]: Okay, perfect. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Kali, are we waiting on Daniel or anyone else? [Kali Mackay]: No, it’ll just be me from the power side today. Perfect. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: I think that’s everyone then. Okie dokie, let’s go ahead and jump in. Most important, a week from tomorrow, we have our next live stream coming up with Sakura and Augment. Very exciting, they’re gonna be talking all about perplexity. John Eric owes me a slide deck of everything he wants to talk about. Basically, usually how those work is Sakura generates all the information, puts together the presentation, the PowerPoint, and Noel’s more of like an interview style, asking questions about what they’re kind of doing, the intricacies of it. And so Noel never has any information for us. I always have to get that from Sakura. So I wish I had it for you today. I was really hoping I’d have it by now. But I’m chasing him. Once we have that, I’m hoping we can utilize that for several forms of content. Social media, obviously, advertise the live stream ahead of time. Afterwards, I’d like to write a blog, kind of recapping the highlights of the events, and then put that across on socials, just kind of triple dip. Michael, I’m working on getting you on corporate very soon, but if I, you know, let’s see how that goes. If not, we’ll post from the corporate account, to promote the live stream, but I’m hoping I can get you on it. [Michael Houck]: Anything to add? Yeah, I mean, we’ll see how things go, but if you guys need help on like a one-off basis, since this is a high leverage thing, you know, we’re happy to jump in and help out with it. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Appreciate it. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Joseph, anything on that? [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: I just wanted to, I don’t think this is within any of y’all’s scope, but I just wanted to say to the ether that I am looking for someone to host these live streams in general, besides relying on Knoll, Knoll’s a busy guy, and getting busier, and I think there’s value to the Knoll brand, the founder-led thing, to Knoll doing some of them, but you can’t be the only one, so I’m doing this same call to the Augment Organization but uh, just keep your eye open or you know If we’re talking about some topics that make sense you guys are writing about like that type of thing. Anyway, um, we uh, we plan to have um A lot, you know live streams be a a part of our content strategy for a while and pick up the volume so hopefully more like uh Weekly with time. So we’ll be looking for some more and teacher, something like that. Any questions? [Michael Houck]: Jason, let’s chat about it as it comes up, because that could be something that we could potentially help out with. I love it, sweet. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: Very exciting. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Talking further through things there, does anyone have any questions on how we kind of want to utilize that live stream? Do you guys like the idea of having a blog recap in the event after, kind of having some bullet points or call outs on socials? Any questions about kind of repurposing that for content? Cool. I’ll take that as everyone is ready to rock. Sammy, do I have the event page? [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: Yes. So let me just speak to a minute to like the logistics, how we’re going to run these events in the future. So we’ve got like an event platform to collect signups. Goal is to, as much as possible, host these events on the Augment website. So shortly, hopefully today, we’ll roll out a portion of the site we’re calling live. And so that’ll be like a CMS section of the site where we can have a page for each event. So I think that the thing to will be to promote the registration page in advance of the event as a way to generate leads. And then the place to stream the event will be augment.market hopefully for some SEO goodness. The reason we want to push people to the Augment website, I mean, some viewers on X and LinkedIn are great, but if possible, we want to try to get them on to the Augment website because below the event, we will have like tiles about the companies that are being discussed. If you click on those companies, you will see this company page that looks really great with certain parts of it blurred out that you have to make an account and go into the platform and see. And so that’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to sign up at the end. So that’s kind of the strategy around this. And there’s a good amount of involvement effort to making that look and feel good. So just keep an eye out for those pages and be aware of the best way to utilize them across channels. And then I’m sure at some point in the future you can give us feedback on the structure of that, but I think I think it should be pretty tight, but it might be something like we look at the new section of the website that kind of missed the audit process. We might have like a meta copy conversation, target keyword conversation about those pages as well when they’re up, so as we’re generating them. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Cool. [Michael Houck]: Cool, and Ben and I will work with with Jacob on and promoting those on social. So we’re sending people to the link as much as possible without dampening impressions on the main posts. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Yeah, awesome. Love that. Next thing on our end, I wanted to flag, you might be seeing these floating around. And if you do, just let me know. We have media buys out with Investing Channel and PirateWires. We also, with Investing Channel, are getting a dedicated newsletter promotion. And we’re specifically going to utilize it for this live stream, really trying to push people coming in for that. If anyone has anything interesting that they want to toss in or flag for me to put as well in that dedicated newsletter like if we have a blog that we think ties into this event or anything like that now’s kind of the time I’m getting back to them this week hopefully trying to make sure we finalize that and get it scheduled so it goes out early next week to promote the event on Thursday. There’s no event specific but we just have some buys out. Overall you should be kind of seeing in that tracker, we want tracking and reporting for pretty much everything we’re doing. I did have a little conversation with Ben this week about reporting already, just making sure tracking and reporting is all included in that calendar, so we have that. What we’re doing on our end, just for transparency for everyone, last time we had this content meeting, we kind of talked about overarching marketing goals. We’re setting goals on a monthly basis. We want to make sure every vendor’s performing as well as us performing to meet our marketing across. So we do want to make sure we just have that transparency. So just a reminder to everyone, if you can please keep that calendar up to date. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: Anything to add there? I would just say we will, hopefully this week, we’re supposed to have through Augment Engineering, the implementation of segment for marketing attribution. Wow, that was a lot of TILN words, which means there was previously a kind of like Bespoke but made by the argument team way to generate like referral codes and links this is a pretty substantial upgrade to that where it’ll just segment well, we’ll track all the Points of contact before a user is identified and then through them signing up to the argument platform and then hopefully eventually investing a bunch of money into private companies, it’s look forward to future meetings of this. We’ll actually know exactly how many people are signing up, from which social channels, at what cadence, and what they’re doing on the platform, which hopefully can inform our work. So we should, that tracking will probably take another few days to be live, but we’ll have most of this month of data to look at soon on that front. And that will eventually bubble up into the spreadsheet that Sandy’s referring to, so that you guys can see that. My theory about this is that we just all have to be looking at the same numbers and optimizing that. And so if you ever have questions about it or where it comes from, I’m happy to talk to it. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: To further build on what Jameson’s saying as well here, talking about that reporting, I’ve been trying not to be too much of a stickler. I know I am chafing on my tractor a lot. I apologize if I’m riding hard on that. It’s just how I keep track of everything. Not today. However, I am going to have you guys be a stand up and let me know where you guys are on things moving forward. So two weeks from now, I want everyone to kind of start providing monthly goals of what they’re hoping to achieve. And then when I have your monthly reporting, we’re going to be looking at how everyone performs. Since we’re doing that internally, I just want to extend that performance standard across the board to all of our vendors as well. So we’ll be generating monthly goals and seeing how we land on those. And as Jameson saying we’re gonna have much more, much tighter attribution process. So we’ll be able to track that right now. I just have like different reporting sheets floating around the internet that I’m constantly chasing for. So we’ll do that here as well as through Amplitude and we’ll kind of set those out. So come prepared for next call to have some goals to report for us and then call after, tell me how you did on them. Lastly here, brand guide finalization. He never makes it to these calls because he’s in Prague, but David McCorney has put together all of the visuals, and I’ve gotten voices from several of the people on this call. Thank you all for putting those together. I’m getting those to him. We’re doing a little bit of tweaking, then we’re going to add it to a notion page and kind of stamp it, lock it, seal of approval, kind of have a North Star on those voices. I think we’re tightening that up in a general sense already, and I think the collaboration among teams has been really good on that front, so I thank you all for that. But I’ll send that as soon as we have it finalized, hoping to get that done early next week. Anything to add there? Cool. Well, that being said, if no one has any questions on what we said, I would like to toss it to each vendor to give kind of an update on how March went, what next steps are, if there’s any blockers. This is just kind of everyone jump in and toss in, but I’ll toss it to Kali first. [Kali Mackay]: Awesome. Thank you, Sammy. Inside, updates are slightly minimal, as we have just got our first kind of cluster of blog content into tie-in team. So as soon as the content is written, if you could share it back with us, we’ll make sure it’s all optimized, has enough keywords, et cetera. And we’ll share it over to James and Sammy, and you guys can publish it live on site with the metadata and all that good stuff. And then we’re aiming for our next round of content topics to share. By end of day on the 7th. So hopefully that will give us enough time. And Sammy Jamison, we’ll send it to you guys before we share with Ty and team just for kind of final approval before we get it over there. But I think the process is working really well so far. Of course, let me know if there’s anything we can do to make it easier for any of the teams. But that’s what we’ve got going on so far in terms of SEO. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: I actually wanted to say something from the PDM side. You normally posted just in our channel with you guys, but that update that you sent, I think it was yesterday, was, I loved it. I would love if you would send that actually in the content channel as kind of like a template, and if everyone can kind of provide that to me on a weekly basis, because some of the other teams I don’t have as much visibility into, and I feel like I always know what’s going on on PDM’s side, so I’d love if we can all kind of emulate what Kali’s doing there. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: positive feedback. I re-presented the keyword gap analysis, those targeted keywords to an abbreviated version of a development organization, and everyone’s excited about chasing those. So personally, I am very excited about the how to invest keywords and focus this month. So yeah. Awesome. Thank you so much for that feedback. [Kali Mackay]: Yeah, we’re very excited. I think we’re focusing on for the next cluster best. We’re gonna go into the best types of, where is it? Best related topics, like platforms or pre-IPO companies, but I know we might get a little creative there, so I look forward to collabing with you guys on that. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Yeah, yeah, that’s gonna be my only, Mark is gonna come up. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: I did raise it with Mark, and he was not as immediately negative as I expected him to be. So maybe when you have the beginning of a concept around that, we can like, float it to Mark, my associate, somebody I met, and get like an opinion before you do too much work on it, but I think there is a path, and 100% there’s a path on the best platforms to invest in, in pre-ideal companies, 100% we can do that, it’s just, is best marketing the investment when it comes to the actual companies you invest in, that’s what we have to do. Yeah, cool. No problem. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Alrighty, let’s go ahead and talk to money marketers. Sure. [Ty Aravazhi]: Okay. [Ty Aravazhi]: So big happy news this week is that we have officially cleared several months long backlog. And so everything is now completely published and up on the website. And I think I had updated internally, or at least on the Augment site, I’d updated that we had two of the four March pieces up. Now all four March pieces are live and up on the website now. So we are fully steaming ahead now with the four pieces for April. And yeah, I did have, actually, I did have a question as far as process since Kali did bring it up. So once our team finishes, so initially what we have been doing is once we finish writing the piece, we send it to Gino to approve and then we send it to compliance. Obviously, we’re changing the process a little bit. So once our team completes writing each piece, we’ll send it to Kali. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: What would it look like from there? [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: Can I, I’m just looking at these top, I don’t think any of these topics suggesting you’re getting high growth opportunities, like you said, are accessible. I don’t think these need Gino’s expertise. The particular topics that I want to kind of do is like bring Gino in when it really needs to like capital markets insight, um, instead of having, you know, to have him look at all of them. And I don’t think unless you have like, I mean, you’ve worked with Gino enough to know, um, what he does. So if you think one of these needs his look, but I don’t think these do, um, So, and then your question was, so it was, you have done with Kali and then back to Kali and then, um, uh, I don’t know. Um, let’s see if Kali has a whole bunch of edits, let’s slow down and I’ll look at it as well. My hope is that this, this process, um, uh, will, uh, require myself, um, or, Myself and like Gino or Noel to look at the blog only one time Compliance look at it only one time and Cali to look at it only one time But this is our first time doing it. So let’s just like keep our eyes open and if it like Okay, it blows it up or compliance blows it up like we can kind of like in a good way, you know Take a step back and see if that And quickly, just to chime in, I anticipate that if we have any feedback or edits or anything like that, they won’t be extensive at all. [Kali Mackay]: It’ll mostly be in terms of seeing if there’s opportunity to add an internal link anywhere and things like that. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Perfect. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Should be good. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: All right. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Sounds good. And how has that been getting the blogs? Do you want me to give you every time? Have you been checking pretty frequently? [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: How’s that been on your end? I would like to, it’s been pretty ad hoc, I would like to, my hope is to get us to the point where it’s like same point of the month, we’re doing topics, sounds like Kat is already doing them really early in the month before, and then maybe like same part of the week, we’re like reviewing, and that, yeah, we’re just aware of, we have, you know, we have like a weekly pulse newsletter, we have a couple things that are weekly, so if it’s like, I need to update the tracker every Monday or something, you know, whatever that is going to be. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Have you seen the first two pieces for April already? No, I haven’t seen them. Where are those two pieces? Are they ready for augment review? Or are they… [Ty Aravazhi]: Oh, they’ve been published. [Ty Aravazhi]: Like, oh, like, we haven’t completed anything for the month of April yet. Like, they’re being worked on right now, but… Ah, okay. Yeah, yeah. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: But the ones that are in progress, like, how far along are those to where Jameson will get them? I’m trying to figure out if there’s a specific day of the week or when we can… [Ty Aravazhi]: I actually, I have dates for those. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Give me one second. [Ty Aravazhi]: Oh wait, no, that’s not the right thing. [Ty Aravazhi]: So the first one should be ready to, for your review actually by the end of this week. Uh, yeah, why yes, that’s correct. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Okay Um, if you can get me some rough publication dates on that and then I’ll get that on jameson’s radar for him to have some review Will do Yeah our aim right now and we can obviously adjust accordingly to whatever Whatever fits for you best, but our aim now is to get one published every week Love that Awesome, okay Anything else money marketer side I like that process if we can get some dates we’ll kind of schedule what I’d like for you to review like not on a Thursday or Friday and hopefully we can get them published in the later half of the week that way feedback. Do you have thoughts on that? I don’t know, whatever you recommend. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: If you can get it to like, yeah, if we can get it to like the day of the week, that’d be great. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: So I’m sorry, you just got to us the first one this week. I’ll have them ready Monday or Tuesday. If he has feedback, he’ll get it to you and get in compliance and we’ll have the first one up by end of next week. I’ll just kind of repeat that cadence moving forward. All right. Megaphone, how are things rocking? [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yeah. [Michael Houck]: So I had an interesting couple of weeks. Uh, we tested out some posts around, uh, uh, no returning from paternity leave and also about his, uh, a kind of a joke about his daughter being born and what he learned about B2B sales, and then just sort of saying, like, I’m kidding at the end. And those did well. So I think, you know, interesting sort of angle there, making him sort of more, more, more personal, personable, rather than just being so business focused on LinkedIn. And I think there’s some some arbitrage opportunities on LinkedIn in general for that right now. So it’s good to see those results. Also, he made himself the CEO of LinkedIn on LinkedIn. I don’t know if you guys saw that. But currently says like CEO of LinkedIn for the last month Yeah, so I think there’s just like this and that announcement quote-unquote did well, too So I think there’s this this angle around sort of expanding his voice beyond just the business centric content So, you know early days there but I think will be interesting to see how that evolves and what he’s comfortable with doing and also with With how we push it in different ways. So that’s sort of the big thing on my mind mind. Process-wise, everything’s moving along. Him and Jacob are still working well together on everything as far as I know and as far as they’ve told me. So all seems good. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Do you guys, and I had a question because I just really this week started digging into your performance tracker. Do you have any kind of like visuals? The numbers are helpful, but it goes all the way back to like October or something. Do you guys do like a monthly report? I know we use Agency Analytics or Sprout Social. What are your schedule things there? Like do you have a tool that’s a little more visual? [Michael Houck]: So we use typefully, we can start putting together monthly like notion docs, they’ll have screenshots from that, if that’s helpful. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Yeah, I just want to like see something more monthly based a little bit tighter. I like having the links to everything. And this is helpful, but it’s just like, I want a little more insight if I could. Hopefully, shortly, we will have this for more than just LinkedIn, we’ll have it for x corporates. Do you Is the tracker like a spreadsheet or normal go-to for that? Or when we have multiple channels, like how do you look at those? [Michael Houck]: Yeah, so we can do it. Some clients like to do it in spreadsheet form where they can sort of run through the numbers and the different sheets on their own, different tabs on their own. If you guys prefer sort of a notion doc, we just have like a summary of the month and then like a deeper dive on each account for the month, we can do that too. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Do you have a preference? Cool. I think I prefer the latter. I’ll keep the spreadsheet because I know at this in this sense and he likes to run through at super high level but I’m also kind of he’ll just be like hey what’s going on and I’m giving him that report and analyzing it kind of synthesizing it because he just like also doesn’t care that much um so I’m kind of doing that on his behalf as well so I think that’s super exciting and like I said we’re meeting with him right after this so hopefully I’ll have an answer for you shortly um looking kind of live stream things do you have what can we equip you with as soon as I have those decks, I’ll send them, but I don’t have them yet. Do you want to go ahead and like tomorrow just publish a link? What’s your plan around that? [Michael Houck]: Yeah, so if you guys want to get something out tomorrow, we can do that. I’ll chat with Jacob after this call, and we can follow up on it, but I think he’s already got some things in mind. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: I think that, yeah, you guys are versed in what is happening with the real estate, right? It’s just like, do you want to learn more about this splashy company that is going up $10 I think that’s it for me. Kali, I have myself a note to look later today. A couple of deliverables you sent over the other day. And then we can’t run anything out there in Slack. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Cool. Last minute action items. I think then typing get me some rough publication dates Kali I’d love if you could send that template or like a rough like that little message because I thought that update was fantastic. Um We’ll try and hammer out a date for when jameson’s approving all those blogs moving forward I owe you an update michael after I talked to noel. Hopefully I am getting those contracts to you today And did you guys have any questions on the memes? [Michael Houck]: I haven’t seen if we’ve utilized any of them Uh, no, as far as I know, uh, Jacob sent some over this morning, I think. So that’s, that’s the last update I have. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 1]: Perfect. Okay. Well, that sounds good to me. I’ll send a short little recap in our content channel and otherwise next couple of calls, we’ll get a little more granular into our goals and performance metrics. [Conference Room (Jameson Pitts) - Speaker 2]: And thank you all for your time today. Thanks guys. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Have a great day.
