[Rafael Bruno]: Hey, guys. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Yo. What’s up, everybody? [Michael Houck]: How you doing? I’m OK. How about you? Yeah, I’ve been on calls for a bit now, and I keep seeing my unread messages going up and up and up in the corner of my screen. So I’m waiting on those. I think half of them are from you guys. [Rafael Bruno]: I remember that we had a call a while ago and you said that every minute you see the number of messages on your inbox increasing. Is that still the case? [Michael Houck]: I mean, it’s not the case every day. That day it was the case. Today it’s not quite that bad, but there’s a fair amount for sure. Cool. Okay. Let’s dive in. I will share my screen here. Where is it? There we go. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: What is going on? Why is this like this? [Michael Houck]: Sorry, Zoom is freaking out. Okay. Cool. So how are we doing? I don’t know how this sprint got so big. I literally have no idea how that’s the case. We didn’t have that much stuff in there when I set it up originally. I don’t know what’s going on. We’re obviously not going to complete 120 points during this sprint, so we need to address that. I think it’s because a lot of stuff got pushed, but I don’t know. Anyway, the main thing that we wanted to accomplish last sprint, which we then also want to accomplish this sprint, is getting one of these launches done. So maybe let’s start there before we go into individual tasks. How are we doing with regard to that? [Rafael Bruno]: Because we have basically a few days. Okay, I checked with everyone. I checked with Mehul and Sid regarding referrals, inner circle and adding the basic tier functionality. We have just a few more tests to conduct to make sure everything is OK. But all the functionalities were developed, and we gave a fair amount of tests. I think that the only thing left is to do a cross test, like, for instance, seed developed inner circle. So I need to test inner circle to check things in a different way that seed would check. But besides that, we are good to go. [Michael Houck]: OK. So if we set a launch date, here’s like a couple of launch dates in mind. One would be, and for context, I have a flight on Thursday, so we won’t be able to do Thursday, but let’s say we did. Yeah, I’m going to Buenos Aires. Let’s say that we did Wednesday this week or Tuesday next week. What do we feel good about? [Rafael Bruno]: I think that Tuesday next week would be better because you also need to test and give us the feedback. But things are good. [Michael Houck]: So we think then that I’ll be able to test by, let’s say if I can test by Thursday, that way I have Friday and the weekend to do testing. And then I can flag anything that comes up. Hopefully there’s not anything big that comes up and then we can plan for launching on Tuesday. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Yeah. Okay. [Michael Houck]: And that’ll be basic tier. That’ll be inner circles and referrals. Yes. Great. That sounds good. One thing left. [Rafael Bruno]: The only thing that we are unsure that how we will handle is the scraper side, because since we did not solve the current issue yet, we don’t know what we will have in my mind. I think that we need to increase the number of machines to deal with the amount of requests that we will receive. [Michael Houck]: Right. So I need to do that Craigslist thing because increasing the number of machines is not economically viable. Because Accountify is like, they charge like $125 a month per account. And that’s pretty expensive. And we already have like six or seven accounts that we have through them. So I need to do the Craigslist thing this week. That’s what that’s telling me. Okay. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Okay. [Rafael Bruno]: I will do that. [Michael Houck]: I will do Craig’s thing this week. Um, what’s up? I see you. You can just talk by the way. [Rafael Bruno]: Don’t raise your hand. [Conference Room (Mehul Jariwala) - Speaker 2]: So just one thing, right? So I just tested the login, uh, create, create account flow. It was, it was saying four to two unprocessable content. It was saying username. Uh, no, not username is not available, but even I tried very random username. [Michael Houck]: If there’s specific things that are not ready yet, that’s fine. You guys can talk through that afterwards or something. But good to know that there’s still a few things we need to fix. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Okay. [sid]: I’m trying to log in today. I keep getting your problem. [Michael Houck]: Sorry guys, let’s not get too in the weeds on specific things we need to do. Debug while everyone’s on the call. Let’s save that for after if there’s specific things that come up. Unless it’s something that has to deal with everyone on the team, but in general I think that’s probably not the case. Okay, so still a few things we need to fix, but we’re gonna fix those, we’re gonna do testing, and our aim is to be ready for me to do testing by let’s say, end of day Thursday, and then aim to launch next Tuesday. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Okay. [Michael Houck]: So with that in mind, Rafael, since you got us started, do you want to just go through what’s on your agenda here? [Rafael Bruno]: Okay. First, this activity in progress, change inactive user data to basic tier. This is kind of like ready because the script is ready here. But I can only do that after we turn the switch of basic tier on production. Otherwise I would have to do that with the new accounts that will be added. But this is the script thing here is ready. [Michael Houck]: Okay, so I’m gonna mark this as done then. And we’ll just do that as part of the update or the launch next week. [Rafael Bruno]: Okay. End-to-end test of inner circle. It was blocked by seed finishing some fixes, but I will resume that today. Hopefully I will finish it today or tomorrow. And I was working on two tasks. One was this one of creating the endpoint to get campaign history, I think I put the wrong site. It should be like M or L, because I should create basically a huge part of the campaigns module on the backend, but part of that is ready. And I was working on sideways on another task that I saw that we needed because one day we were talking and he mentioned that we are having some problems like performance when he was developing things on the front on the front end. So I saw that I needed to modify some performance things on the back end. And I saw some of other stuff on our way, like that it would difficult maintainability. So I removed that. And that generated A few bugs, but I’m fixing that today. But that’s it. How would you define this improved backend performance for what exactly? I would say improved backend performance. It’s backend performance in general, because it deals with the whole backend. Oh, OK. [Michael Houck]: How can we make it more specific than just improved backend performance? [Rafael Bruno]: Improved backend performance on queries. [Michael Houck]: Okay, and then how big is this? [Rafael Bruno]: L. I worked, basically all Saturday and part of the Friday, I worked on that. Wow, okay. [Michael Houck]: So we’re expecting these to be done this sprint, these three? Yes, yes. And what about the other ones that are in here? [Rafael Bruno]: Anything here we’re gonna get done? Yeah, the other part of the get campaigns, I think I’ll be able to finish like half or more than half of that, but it will depend depends on the tasks that I’ll be choosing. By Friday, probably, I should move the other ones to the next sprint. OK. [Michael Houck]: This was a duplicate, so I’m going to mark this as duplicate. Cid, what’s the one that you’ve been working on for, or that you just finished, for the saved preference What is it called? [sid]: That is, just a moment. Let’s see, perfect. That’s 1134. No, sorry, my bad. [Michael Houck]: That is 649. [sid]: 649. Okay, so that’s a duplicate 649, so I’ll move that there. [Michael Houck]: And Rafael, what about these non-campaigns ones? There’s three of them here. Are these moving to next sprint? Yes. Okay, that’s fine. I don’t think they’re urgent, although they are bugged. So we should do them. Okay. So basically you’re going to complete these three and then some more of the campaigns ones, whichever ones you don’t complete, just move to next sprint. Yes. Cool. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Okay. [sid]: Sid, what about on your side? Yes. So I have few things finished content queue, then finished some basic DR changes that may hold requested for, and also find some minor bugs. Work tickets. And the one that I just finished is 649. Basically, it was finished already. But then I merged branches and turns out, Rafael did a lot of changes, I had to adapt to it. So that was one thing. And currently, I’m working on the Stripe, the prorated thing. That is already that is like pretty much straightforward. I have implemented the code like at the logic for it. The testing is a bit difficult. So I was just I was talking to Rafael for testing, and he has given some ideas to test it. So basically, I’m going to test it thoroughly, like without manually changing anything from Stripe, because I know that once we change and change, like, like decrease accounts in Stripe, then it works. But ideally, it won’t be like that. So we are, yes, just a different way to test. That is what, uh, I’m like I’m working on right now. Well, sounds good. [Michael Houck]: And then will you have bandwidth to get to, obviously we need to create the inner circle. Um, we have bandwidth to get to these this week. Oh, sorry. These other three that are in here for the, for this sprint. Um, how are, are they on track? Will, will they be worked on sprint? [sid]: Yes. Yes. Okay. Got it. So, uh, from back probably same so 103 1086 and 638. I need to check both with Rafael. Basically, if the free if they are reproducible, then yes, I can take it up. But if they’re reproduced, so if it’s a challenge to reproduce them, then we are to find a way to reproduce them. Somehow, even if it does happen for like 1%, even then it’s okay. But if I know if we know that, okay, this is how to reproduce and I can fix that. A few from happening. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Okay. [Rafael Bruno]: I think that we can cancel these two. Yeah. Yeah. That’s what I think too. [Michael Houck]: I think this one is, is new and still maybe an issue, but my hypothesis is both of these are, are no longer an issue because they were with air table. Yeah. But we should, we should check. So just like when you said, when you get to them, just check, but these might, these two might be easy to cancel. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Yeah. Yeah. [sid]: So I will check in the data If there are, if I identify any duplicate things like duplicate records, then I’ll just flag it. Okay. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Sounds good. [Michael Houck]: Um, okay. [sid]: Anything else after this was the testing of that current ticket might be completed by tomorrow. So anything I can take up? Yeah. You know what? [Michael Houck]: It might, might be good for you to take up the things that we just moved, um, that were assigned to Rafael, the, the bugs that we thought we weren’t going to get to this sprint. So I’ll move these three. Uh, back and I’ll sign them to you. Um, so you can take those on as well. [sid]: Okay, sure. Thank you. [Michael Houck]: Um, and then on the front end, um, where are we at? [Conference Room (Mehul Jariwala) - Speaker 2]: I guess on front end we were on, on track. So I was, I probably create content, you, you page UI will be done that we already address the comment. The only thing which is That’s still I was testing today. Login register was not working. So I reached out to Rafael. He’s going to take care and follow up on that. We have the create new request for, which I already started, created the model, rendered a few stuff inside the model. Then I’ll keep on following up the few other things related to content request only. So meanwhile, if, if I get some time, I’ll front-end it and then I’ll create a new request. I’ll try to take a look at the testing, the basic user flow. Yeah. Cool. [Michael Houck]: And then these other content queue tasks, will these be taken care of this sprint? Yeah, I’m going to take care of this sprint. [Conference Room (Mehul Jariwala) - Speaker 2]: That was my target. But hopefully we don’t see any bug on the inner circle or the referral releases. Because a few days back, Rafael did some some changes on the referral path. So I again need to make some changes. So I hopefully, if you don’t see any of those changes, then it will be taken care, only the UI path integration will be the separate taken care. [Michael Houck]: Yeah, it doesn’t look like we ever created. Yeah, integration story was not created yet. Okay, so let me, is that in progress already, Mehul? [Conference Room (Mehul Jariwala) - Speaker 2]: No, not yet, integration is not yet. I will just finish all the UI part and I’ll jump onto integration. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Right, sorry. [Michael Houck]: Maybe this is a question for Rafael. Rafael, when we talked the other day, we were talking about how- Replacing two columns, right? Yeah, because we need the pending earnings due to the way Tapfilia is set up. Yeah, I created a task for my home. Doesn’t look like you added it to the sprint. Can you find it and add it to the sprint after the call? [Rafael Bruno]: Oh, sure, yeah. I can do that. I will find it here. [Michael Houck]: Okay, cool. And then Rizwan, how are we doing on everything? [Rizwan Hameed]: Yeah, so right now I’m working on this 11.6.8, which is to process the inner circle events when there isn’t any creator request in the process. So the changes are about to be finalized and hopefully by today late night or maximum by tomorrow it will be done as well and I’ll move it to the in the reviews so I’ll keep monitoring the changes of the image processing for a few days as well just like I’m doing for the other ones which are in review right now so yeah and other than that the ticket which is 1096 And that seems to be like a duplicate. I already did a comment on this thing. Uh, it was about the prioritizing the events. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: So. [Michael Houck]: Oh, yep. Yep. I think that this is the one I originally created. And then I think that you maybe created this one or Rafael created this one as well. Maybe these are duplicates. So should we close this one? UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Yeah, from my side, I think so. [Rizwan Hameed]: This should be closed, but Phil, do you have any input on that one? [Rafael Bruno]: No, we can close that. We can close this one. [Michael Houck]: Yeah. Okay. I’m going to mark this as a, as a duplicate then of 1086 or 1186. [Rizwan Hameed]: I think it is right. Yes. Exceeded. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: 68. 1168. [Rizwan Hameed]: Every combo except the white one. There we go. [Michael Houck]: Okay. And then what about, what about this one? Can you open this one up? [Rizwan Hameed]: Implement a flow to check the LinkedIn posts with no account name on the URL. Is this that you mentioned, like, you know, without just to check the username matches with the post. [Rafael Bruno]: Oh, this, this is that problem that we had. Because when users try to share a post on LinkedIn that they on the URL, it doesn’t contain the account, account name, we are not able to verify if that uh, that link belongs to the, uh, to the megaphone account. Uh, it was working with, uh, one work around that I did on the back end, but then LinkedIn blocked that work around. So we need, uh, this other functionality on the, on the scraper side. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Yeah. [Rizwan Hameed]: So this is also going to need some, like, you know, uh, like account as well. Because we will be visiting the different posts with the login profiles. [Michael Houck]: Oh, I see what you’re saying. Okay. [Rafael Bruno]: So this is something you probably won’t be able to finish till next sprint, right? Mm-hmm. Okay, I’ll work on that. Rizwan, one question about the ongoing issue of the scraper. Do you have any updates like the things that we discussed before about increasing the machines? [Rizwan Hameed]: excellent at least for yeah I do have that like you know I do have that plan like you know uh I was just about to finalize this uh changing the topics for the post engagements so after that like you know I’ll increase one by one machine like you know one for the twitter one and the linkedin one so we can also monitor the expected outcome like you know does this resolve the issue or not and plus after that I’m also planning to increase the amount of events per machine as well like you know or I can increase the machines by using the same accounts existing accounts pool that we have right now so it won’t be like you know we won’t be getting new accounts but we will be using the existing ones so I’ll do that with one account and we’ll monitor it so I’ll create the tickets accordingly once I’m done with the topics thing okay so like you know by using the existing capacity capacity of the accounts, just trying to maximize the outcome. [Michael Houck]: And then Rizwan, these two that have been in review, are we planning to move those to complete this sprint? [Rizwan Hameed]: Yeah, I’m just monitoring the changes, right? The monitoring, I’m monitoring the events on a daily basis. So if there is any other issue, like no, because we have implemented the parallelism, like executing the different bots in the same machine, so I’m just monitoring it. No action on that other than that. [Michael Houck]: Let’s push those through then. Sid, I think this is something you and Mehul can work on. I’m going to move it to next sprint. It’s something that users have requested forever. And we’ve sort of told them it’s a bad idea and they still want it. This is the feature where on the dashboard, they can add more budget to a post that they’ve already shared via broadcast. So we’ll build out a simple a simple process to do this. I added to the sprint, but really it should be, it should be next sprint. [sid]: And I’m gonna, I’ll add the backend portion to you and the front end to Michael. Okay, sure. It’s like promoting a post just like we do it. [Michael Houck]: We see it on Facebook or Instagram. [sid]: Sorry, what? So it’s like boosting the past post they created on their Yeah, it’s a post they’ve already shared via megaphone they want to add more budget to. [Rafael Bruno]: One question regarding that. Right now the business logic that we have is that if we didn’t fill 100% of the budget, trying to share the budget three times, then we stop. Like the backup creator’s functionality can be called all the three times. But if you’re adding more budget, how that would interact with the current rule? [Michael Houck]: Yeah, let’s worry about that next sprint. Not a major issue right now. We’ll reason through it next sprint. OK. And then, Ben, do you want to give us an update on the command bar onboarding the user experience stuff? [Ben Ornstein]: Yeah. Haven’t really attacked this yet. I will by the end of this week. I need to figure out an action plan for what I’m going to do for this. When we talk in a few minutes, I have a couple of questions on that, but I’ll get this done. Okay. We’ll go through in our one-on-one in a couple of minutes. [Michael Houck]: Okay. Well, look, there’s a ton of stuff in here. Obviously, we don’t think we’re going to get all of it done. I guess some of it’s already been canceled. So maybe that’s still being counted. I don’t know. But let’s make as much progress as we can. And main thing is making sure we’re ready to launch next week. So if I can review on Friday, we’ll be in good shape there. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Okay. [Michael Houck]: Okay. Anything else for for now for the whole team? Or should we break off there? Into separate chats. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Okay, cool guys. [Michael Houck]: Let’s get it. Say it. [Rafael Bruno]: Tim, one thing regarding the modification that I did, just explaining what was the reason for modifying that. Mehul commented about an issue that he was having having on the front end, like things getting slow. And I also saw a task on the next sprint, if I’m not mistaken, about improving the performance of the dashboard. So I decided to work like this right now, because we would have, since we are testing everything to release in a circle, we would use that opportunity to test to see if everything is okay. Another thing that I did is that I removed one of the layers that I created in the past because I worked in past projects and I used that layer. But looking at this project, I see that this would make it difficult on the maintainability of the project. So I reduced and I also removed the ORM that we were using. We were using type ORM. And basically what I saw is that sometimes we want to create like specific queries and the ORM gets in the way to do that. So I thought that in terms of performance would be better if we worked on the raw SQL instead of using the ORM. [Conference Room (Mehul Jariwala) - Speaker 1]: this is the reason of the changes yeah thanks Rafael I guess now the UI got improved and seems to be no good but we do have some error from the login and register so if you can fix that then [Rafael Bruno]: I’ll just go ahead and test end-to-end just just give me the the eight points that is failing so I can test it here and I can figure out what is the problem? [Conference Room (Mehul Jariwala) - Speaker 1]: Oh, if you can just try to in there, if you can just try to register with any you any of the users, right, it is keep on throwing that username is not available. Even I just done generate a random string, still saying the same thing. So I’m not sure if I think I know what it is. [Rafael Bruno]: I’ll test it now. And when I fix I’ll let you know. [Conference Room (Mehul Jariwala) - Speaker 1]: Okay, that makes sense. Yeah, thank you. And a few other things that growth account stuff that you that I have you fixed it or not it is fixed. [Rafael Bruno]: You can log in and you you’ll be able to log in. [Conference Room (Mehul Jariwala) - Speaker 1]: And I guess with the honk account data becoming erased or because I see less data now on the on the dashboard side. [Rafael Bruno]: Yes, that’s because from time to time, I take data from production and load that into the dev database because sometimes like Ben asked me to investigate a bug and I have to, instead of logging into the production database, I just copy the data and put on the dev database so I can test it. Okay, no problem. [Conference Room (Mehul Jariwala) - Speaker 1]: I’ll use any other account then. [Rafael Bruno]: That’s why from time to time data will erased from some accounts. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Any other questions? No. [Rafael Bruno]: Is there anything else that you guys would like to discuss? UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: No. OK, guys. [Rafael Bruno]: If you need me, I’m trying to prioritize those development bugs. So all the environments can work fine. But if you need me just message me and I’ll try to be quick to answer. UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Okay. Okay. Thank you. [Rafael Bruno]: See you guys. [sid]: Take care. See you.
