[Matt B (Matty B)]: Um, yes, essentially, um, I’m trying to see if megaphone would be a good option for, uh, Twitter, Twitter growth for my boss’s Twitter page. Um, we’re really just trying to grow the views in any way we can. Um, we’re looking into promoting tweets ourselves, uh, with, with actual dollars, um, you know, posting more often. So we’re just looking to see any options out there that I can help that. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Cool. [Max Palmer]: Um, so this is, He’s coming directly from your boss’s Twitter account. It’s not a company account. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Correct. [Matt B (Matty B)]: Yeah. [Max Palmer]: It’s like a personal Twitter account. Awesome. [Matt B (Matty B)]: And what are you guys tweeting about? So we have a few pillars. Um, I guess we’re still trying to figure that out completely, but we’re mainly focused on his interest, what he’s good at, his personal experiences, um, his health journey, uh, political views, just basically stuff that he is interested in and the other things that he’s good at. [Max Palmer]: Okay. Um, Is there like a specific niche you mentioned health interests? Like is it is it about health and wellness? Is it about you know, are there like certain niches that he tweets about? [Matt B (Matty B)]: Yeah. Yeah. So he developed a trademark called the year of the opposite, which to basically summarize it. It’s he lived through what he calls a year of the opposite where he completely changed the way he went through his life. So health wise, um, started running. More you might have heard of it. [Max Palmer]: Honestly, I mean it what’s the Twitter account? [Matt B (Matty B)]: It’s called so you can actually look up is his Handle, it’s just called t stalliker t st o Li k er That’s essentially the theme of the page right but we post a little bit more beyond you’re the opposite stuff. So We get a lot of our content from the blog posts that he posts on his sub stack Uh, so a lot of what we’re doing right now is, is posting on the Twitter page and then redirecting that Twitter traffic back to the newsletter. Um, that’s sort of in the strategy right now. [Max Palmer]: Um, but yeah. [Matt B (Matty B)]: Okay, cool. [Max Palmer]: So yeah, I mean, um, you know, I can explain how, how megaphone works. Um, so megaphone is a creator engagement marketplace. Uh, so we have users who are, you know, people like yourself who are looking to grow their audience or grow the account of a business to get more leads or sales. And then we have creators who are big influencers in a variety of different spaces who have anywhere from the minimum requirement is 20,000 followers, but we have several with hundreds of thousands of followers. And those creators will engage with your content, and that will help amplify it within the Twitter LinkedIn algorithm. Typically when I say engage with your comment, it’s typically going to be, or engage with your post, it’s going to be a comment. So they’ll comment something relevant on your tweet and that will help boost it. So that’s kind of how it works in a nutshell. The pricing, there’s two parts of the pricing. The first is the subscription, which you pay just to use the platform. It’s either $49 a month or $89 a month, depending on the tier. The only difference is with the $89 a month plan, your posts get sent to the creators immediately once you send them to us. With the $49 a month plan, your posts are delayed an hour until they’re sent to the creators. And then the second part of the pricing is what you have to allocate towards each post. And that’s the money that goes to actually paying these creators. So the creators, they charge their own amount, typically creators will raise their prices by $10 for every 100,000 followers they have. So for example, we have a creator with 370,000 followers, and they charge $35 for an engagement, whereas we have creators with 50,000 followers, and they charge typically around $5 or $10 for an engagement. So on average, people are spending about $30 per post And that should get you a few engagements from some good creators. And then the way we allocate your posts to creators is based on three criteria. So first and foremost, we want to allocate your posts to creators that are in your niche. That's why I had asked what you guys are tweeting about, because I wanted to make sure we have creators in that niche. So if you were tweeting about health and wellness, We wouldn't want to send your tweet to a creator who tweets about marketing or just something not relevant. So the second is we want to send it to creators that are online at the time you're posting so that they can engage right away because that's really important with these algorithms. And then the third is we're going to maximize your budget based on a follower to cost ratio. So our software will do all of that. You won't be able to choose which creators You won't even know which creators are using the platform for obvious reasons. A lot of these creators don't want it to be known that they're using the platform. So our software will handle all that. All you need to do is create the content, send that post on Megaphone, allocate a budget, and that's it. [Matt B (Matty B)]: So you pay for a tier based on the response time, and then from there, you have a separate From there, yeah, after the subscription, then you have to allocate a budget towards each post. [Max Palmer]: Okay. Got you. Got you. That makes sense. [Matt B (Matty B)]: I'm trying to think of any questions I really have. I mean, normally I just wanted to get on this call because I knew you guys could probably help. I just wanted a bit more information. And that definitely, that information definitely does help. So obviously I have to talk to my boss about it, but what would the next steps look like, You could just sign up right on, on the website. [Max Palmer]: So yeah, literally just go on the website. To megaphone.network and onboarding. And just go from there? Oh yeah, it's super simple. And if you guys have any questions, just shoot us an email. Sweet. Yeah, it's self-onboarding software. So yeah, it's easy. [Matt B (Matty B)]: OK. Yeah, that sounds good to me. I'll definitely talk about that with him today. And if I have any questions, I'll let you know. [Max Palmer]: But yeah, I mean, do you have any questions for me? I don't think so. I'm trying to think what else I usually tell people. Oh, yeah, there's no long term commitment either. So, you know, it's not a yearly subscription. It's month to month. So, you know, you could test it out for for three months, spend a few hundred dollars and, you know, see if you can grow your account. I will say, actually, another thing, you know, the quality of your content matters a lot. [Matt B (Matty B)]: Right. [Max Palmer]: Like, of course. Yeah. Yeah. Like we're, you know, Megaphone's not going to help bad content perform well. It just won't. [Matt B (Matty B)]: Yeah. Yeah. [Max Palmer]: You guys just amplify it. That's all. Exactly. Gasoline on the fire, but you still have to create that fire. So if you are interested in getting help with the content, we have launched a ghostwriting agency as well. It starts at $2,000 a month, and we have a lot of clients that are using it to get help with the content creation itself. Cool. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: OK. [Matt B (Matty B)]: Yeah, that makes sense. I think we’re good on content for now, but that is definitely something we’d be interested in. If everything works out the way we think it works out. Right. Cool. Cool. Well, I appreciate it, Max. I appreciate your time. Awesome, Matt. [Max Palmer]: Thanks. And shoot us an email if you have questions. Sounds good, man. [Matt B (Matty B)]: Talk soon. [Max Palmer]: All right. Later.
