[Michael Houck]: Hey, Alberto, how you doing? [Michael Houck]: Thank you. How you doing? [Alberto Slavica]: I can’t hear you. [Michael Houck]: I think that’s on your end, because my settings look good. [Alberto Slavica]: One second. Ah, yes. Sorry. OK. Perfect. [Michael Houck]: How are you doing? [Alberto Slavica]: Very good. And you? [Michael Houck]: Yeah, good. Good to meet. Thanks for grabbing some time. [Alberto Slavica]: I just wanted to say that I really love your newsletter, first of all. Oh, thank you. I’m a big fan. Just to be quick, I’m currently almost done developing my own product. It’s basically a notion for developers to run APIs, run queries on the database. Oh, that sounds useful. Just because a notion is like a tool for project managers like sales, but there is not some something like that for developers. And I saw Megafon, your application, and I was curious about, because all of the example I read on the homepage are basically only people like branding themselves to an audience. And I just wanted to say is, do you have any, example for companies that have done well with your product? [Michael Houck]: Yeah, well, I mean, most of those people are the founders of companies who’ve used their own social media brand to specifically grow their product, which is, you know, similar to what I do. You can totally use it for a brand account on either x or LinkedIn, people do do it, and they do see success with it. But what I would say is that just irrespective of megaphone even just for like social media best practices, you’re going to get a better return building your founder brand first, and then sending people to the product rather than trying to grow a product page. The reason is just because, you know, people in your audience are going to resonate more with you and your personality and your opinions, rather than just like a page about a product that they aren’t using yet, you know, so you’ve seen like Andrew gazdecki do this really well with acquired A lot of other people do it too. It’s just an easier strategy, an easier road to go down. So that’s why we use those as our examples, but we do have people who use it straight for their company pages and they do well too, just probably they grow faster if they would have done their personal account. [Alberto Slavica]: Okay. So it would be better if I just do it with my own, like for example, my ex account is only 160 followers. It’s very small. [Michael Houck]: But I mean, if you were going to start a new account for the product, you’d be starting at zero, right? [Alberto Slavica]: Yes. [Michael Houck]: So the gulf between zero and 160 is bigger than you think. [Alberto Slavica]: Okay. And, uh, for example, what would the, what would be an example of post that would work? Like, for example, uh, I just launched these, uh, try it out. It doesn’t work well, right? It should be. [Michael Houck]: something more, uh, yeah, no, I mean, you should look at what other content is doing well for people and adapt that to your voice and your style and your specific desires, what the content should be. What I would say though, is, you know, broadly speaking, you want to give people information about what you’re talking about and also sort of like the transformation that it’s going to deliver to them. Right. So if I was going to write a post about megaphone, I would say something like, you know, um, generate more leads for your business by, you know, having big creators engage with your content, right? So that’s like super clear, benefit, feature, boom. [Alberto Slavica]: On social media- For example, in my case, it would be how I, because in my app, you can also create visualization of your data and create dashboard. So it could be how I created the perfect visualization or building a front end and like something like that, right? [Michael Houck]: Yeah, a hundred percent. And you could do it through kind of a screenshot, sort of breaking down how you did it and how the tool works. And then you put that through and yeah, that’s something that could do well for sure. [Alberto Slavica]: Perfect. Thank you. That’s all. That’s it. That’s all my questions. [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Perfect. [Michael Houck]: I’m excited for you to try it out. Let me know what you think. Shoot me an email anytime. And then we have some pretty cool features coming out in Q4 to more ways to interact with other users on the platform, as well as new ways to interact with creators too. So lots more coming. Excited for you to check it out. [Alberto Slavica]: Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you for your time. [Michael Houck]: Talk soon, Alberto. Good to meet you, man. [Alberto Slavica]: Good to meet you. Bye-bye.
