Jody Hilton: Hey, Jody. Hey, how’s it going? Good, how are you? God, I’m so glad you sent me that reminder. Yeah, just kind of getting a late start here. I put on video mode, but my hair’s all messed up. [Max Palmer]: But anyway, no worries. I do have a hard stop at two, though. So that’s fine. Jody Hilton: I’m sure you can. You can just let me know. I mean, the the I can just go right into it. What was your name again? Max? There it is right there. Yep. [Max Palmer]: Yes. I’m house chief of staff. Jody Hilton: Oh, nice. Is business going good? It is. Yeah. So like the platform, there’s a monthly fee, right? Like, I don’t know, it’s like $49 and that's just to be in the platform, correct? Correct. [Max Palmer]: Yep. So yeah, yeah, I can explain it real quick. So monthly subscription, which is either 49 a month or 89 a month. [Jody Hilton]: What's the difference? [Max Palmer]: Yeah, the only difference is with the $89 a month tier, your post will get sent to the creators as soon as you send them to us. Whereas with the $49 a month tier, your post will get delayed in an hour until we send them to creators. And then beyond that, you do have to allocate a budget towards each post. So on average, people are spending $30 to $50 per post. But we've had people spend well over a $100 particular post. If they have a product launch, an announcement, a great piece of content that they know is going to do really well, the more money you spend, course, the more engagements from creators you’ll get. Typically, creators charge an additional $10 for every 100,000 followers they have. So we have a creator with 370,000 followers, for example, and that creator charges $35 for an engagement. Whereas we have creators with 50,000 followers, and they charge $5 to engagement. [Jody Hilton]: How does the creator decide? So basically, I do the post. Well, first off, I mean, Who are the creators? I mean, I follow a lot of people that have a lot of people that's following them. Are those the guys? And those followers, when they post, they seem to be using the same platform you have. Because they get, I don't know how they get so many, they get like 300 clicks on it. And I'm like, it just doesn't make any sense. And I look at their posts, I'm like, that's not that great of a post. [Max Palmer]: Yeah, I mean, some of the creators use the platform as users as well. We have over 150 different creators in dozens of different niches. We choose who interacts with your post based off three things. First and foremost, they need to be a creator within your niche. Second, they need to be online at the time you're sending these posts. And then third, we want to allocate your budget most So those are kind of the three things our software does to make sure your post is going to the right person. [Jody Hilton]: And then, so I'm a staffing company. Do you have a lot of staffing companies? [Max Palmer]: I don't know if we have staffing companies using it. In terms of creators, we have a ton of creators in the business, startup, founder niche, entrepreneurship niche. I assume the majority, those would be good creators for you. [Jody Hilton]: Okay. Yeah. I mean, that's, that's just it. I mean, I, I see people post and staffing and there's all kinds of people that, that, because I'll be posting about, you know, um, people may be doing their resumes or it might be talking about cybersecurity or whatever it is. Um, those are the posts that I'll kind of focus on, um, from that. I mean, how does the, how does it work? So I do a budget of 15 or $20. Does the creators go to grab it, or you just send it out? No. [Max Palmer]: Yeah, we send it out to creators. Jody Hilton: And so then the first come first serve is kind of like saying where if they see it, they have to post within the first hour? [Max Palmer]: So it’s not first come first serve. It’s who we send it to has the option to engage with it. If they engage with the post within an hour of us sending it to them, then they’ll get paid. If they don’t, then we’ll send the post to a new creator. Jody Hilton: Are they reposting it too? [Max Palmer]: No, typically, it’s just a comment. You can, however, toggle a button to request repost. Typically, if you’re going to do that, you want to set a larger budget, because most of these creators charge more for that. But comments are the highest form of engagement on these platforms, actually. Jody Hilton: Yeah, no, I can see that. And then they like it, and they post. And then when they do that, does it bring on other, does it bring more people like, so they do it, they comment on it. Is it reaching a broader audience? [Max Palmer]: That’s what’s happening, right? Exactly. So when they comment on it, then your posts and their comment are being shown to their followers. Jody Hilton: Okay. Okay. That’s actually really cool. On the average, um, how many people are like when they’re using it, are they posting, tell me when you got, three minutes left, and then when they post it, okay, I lost my train of thought. So they comment on it, okay, I just lost my train of thought on that. So they comment on it, and it goes to their followers. I mean, generally, yeah, that’s what I’m gonna ask. How many, like, people are using your platform, are they posting every day, or a couple times a week, or what’s the best practice? UNKNOWN_SPEAKER: Yeah. [Max Palmer]: I mean, to best grow an audience, you want to be posting every day. That’s not to say that every post you’re going to amplify with megaphone, right? You’re not going to amplify every single one of your posts with megaphone. We recommend if someone’s growing an audience, we recommend posting two to three times per day with two to three long form posts per week. Jody Hilton: If you can do that- Long form, meaning about the long written thing. [Max Palmer]: Yeah, meaning threads or a long form post. Jody Hilton: Okay. And then, you know, I know, and you can people say it, but they’re using AI to write a lot of these things. I mean, they’re changing them. But do you guys write the post to or do you help me or? [Max Palmer]: No, so we don’t, we can help you with content. We do have a ghostwriting service that we’ve launched. It’s entirely different. It starts at about $2,000 per month. So I can, if you're interested, that I can connect you with how can you can chat with him about it. I just want to ask the question yeah yeah other than that we don't help with content- but obviously the quality of your content is. Probably more important than anything. [Jody Hilton]: Yeah I've been using the new- the new many. Point zero one zero from Captivity nothing's just crazy it just gives you all kinds of pumps and you know and everybody's you know. And the thing even. You know these- Influencers talk about it. They feel that, you know, they're cheating because they're stealing other people's, you know, they borrow or they steal because it's like they don't reinvent the wheel. They take out the posts that work, change it to theirs. And then costly a post that's been, I'm like somebody else's did that. [Max Palmer]: Yeah. Yeah. They regurgitate it. Yep. Yeah. Regurgitate. Yeah. And when you, when you post something on megaphone, you'll, you'll provide a, there's a box where you'll provide context. I've got to hop off in a sec, but there's a box that will provide context for what you want the creator to comment on so that they comment something relevant. [Jody Hilton]: Okay, on the on that thing. And I noticed that, yeah, and I've noticed that a lot of those things on your website where you show like the best, the people that that got a lot of hits, they spent $15. And it was only four or five lines was pretty impressive on that. Yeah, it just depends on what that is. Yeah, yeah, content can be short, short content can perform well as I know you, I know you got to go, you got to go, you have to check out, but, but this is good. I just need to kind of figure this out. I might have a followup call, but I’m, you know, I’m thinking I’m going to push the trigger at least try, but one last question. So on though, does it really like you wait for an hour when I post, but your algorithms are way better if somebody’s commenting right as you post, right? [Max Palmer]: Yeah. So the $89, that’s why, you know, it’s, it’s priced more. Um, yeah. Instant engagement is important with these platforms. Jody Hilton: We know that for sure. Okay, perfect. All right, Max. I appreciate it. I’ll definitely follow up. Okay, Jody. [Max Palmer]: Yeah, just shoot us an email with any questions. We’re happy to answer. Jody Hilton: Perfect. That’s what I’ll do. Thank you, sir. Your email’s in my thing, right? Yep. Thanks, Max. Have a good day. Thanks, Jody. Have a good one.
