[Dara Ladjevardian]: and you know, we’re really thinking about repeatable marketing and growth strategies. We’ve pretty much grown purely organically up until now, just through word of mouth. So I was honestly just curious on hopping on a call and learning more about what you guys do. [Max Palmer]: Yeah, I love it. So we Megaphone is a creator engagement marketplace, so we help people and companies grow their followings on Twitter and LinkedIn. And the way we do this is we have creators that are in a variety of different niches, everything from AI and tech and startups to health and wellness and marketing and a bunch of different ones. [Max Palmer]: Those creators have anywhere from tens of thousands of followers to hundreds of thousands of followers. And we verified that these are all real followers. And then these creators will engage with your content once you post it on Twitter and LinkedIn. And because of that, you’ll get boosted in the algorithm and perform better. So some companies are using us. You know, to get leads, to get sales, or just to grow their company accounts. Other people are using us to grow personal followings and, you know, build a personal brand. So it’s being used in a few different ways. [Dara Ladjevardian]: Yeah, that makes sense. Twitter, posting on Twitter and LinkedIn has actually been one of our best distribution channels. So there’s definitely high leverage in increasing that following. Are you allowed to say what companies you work with? [Max Palmer]: I’m not. No, no. And I’m not allowed, we’re not allowed to disclose the identity of our creators as well for kind of obvious reasons. [Dara Ladjevardian]: Of course. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Makes sense. Makes sense. [Max Palmer]: Yeah. So definitely can’t disclose who’s using the product, but we have had success. And like, like you guys, ours is going through, through word of mouth. Like we have not run ads for this, um, at all. So that, that’s a good sign. And, um, and yeah, we have over almost 200 creators, um, and hundreds of users. So, um, you know, still, still early stages for us, but, but growing as well. [Dara Ladjevardian]: Got it. And what does, uh, what does the pricing look like, [UNKNOWN_SPEAKER]: Yeah. [Dara Ladjevardian]: Is it, uh, outcome based? Is it a set fee? [Max Palmer]: Yep, so there’s two parts of the pricing. So there’s the subscription, which is just to use the platform, and then there’s a deposit, which you make for each post. So there’s two tiers for this subscription, $89 a month or month. $49 The only difference is that with the $89 a month tier, your posts will get sent to creators instantly. So once you send that post to us on Megaphone, we'll route that post to different creators in your niche right away. With the $49 a month plan, we’re going to delay your post an hour until we send it to creators. [Dara Ladjevardian]: Got it. And this is, it’s to all creators or do you, do we decide which creators are best fit? You guys decide? [Max Palmer]: Yeah. So, so that’s kind of, I’ll explain that with the second part of the pricing. So after we’ve sent it to creators, the creators have an hour to engage with it. If they don’t engage within the hour of us sending it to them, we’ll send it to a new creator in your niche. Okay. We won’t send it to all creators. It wouldn’t, it wouldn’t make sense to send your product to like a health and wellness creator, right? It just did it. [Dara Ladjevardian]: We have a lot of health and wellness. [Max Palmer]: Okay. So, so then maybe I didn’t, I didn’t, I didn’t realize that. Um, great. So, so yeah, it, it depends on which niche, you know, you, you want, um, um, Oh, interesting. Okay. So I, I thought you guys would be in like tech startup, um, you know, AI. [Dara Ladjevardian]: No, no, no. We’re actually, we’re not really, no, most of our customers are experts or creators in health and wellness, motivation, parenting, uh, dating, uh, accounting. Like we were pretty on the knowledge based creator space. [Max Palmer]: Interesting. Okay. So yeah, that’s a, that’s a wide variety. And I, and so I imagine each post would be. Could be completely different. Like you could have one post today about someone in the accounting niche and then tomorrow it could be health and wellness. Is that right? [Dara Ladjevardian]: Yeah. We’ll post about individual customers, but also we’ll post just about like Delphi in general and like what you can do with the clone. This is the next form of, you know, content creation and communicating with your audience and reaching people and from the consumer side, learning from other people. So it’s a bit of a, you know, marketplace tackling both sides. [Max Palmer]: Yeah. Okay. Um, So the second part of the pricing is the deposit that you’ll make for each post. [Max Palmer]: So when you’re submitting a post on Megaphone, you’ll allocate a budget for that post. On average, it’s between about $30 and $50 is what our users are doing right now. But you can spend as much as you like, We’ve had people spend well over $100 for a big fundraising announcement, the launch of a product, a great piece of content that they spent a ton of time on. And then that's the budget that's going to go to the creators. So we'll allocate that budget to creators based off three criteria. First and foremost, we're going to send it to creators that are in your niche, as I mentioned before. Second, we're going to send it to creators that are online at the time you're posting, so that they can post very quickly. And then third, we're going to maximize your budget based on a follower to cost ratio. So these creators set their own costs. Typically, creators will raise their prices by $10 every 100,000 followers they have. So for example, we’ve got 370,000 followers, and that creator charges $35 an engagement. Whereas we have 50,000 followers, and they will usually charge $5 to $10 for an Got it. [Dara Ladjevardian]: And so I’m still a little confused on the difference because we’re paying month, 89 we send a message, we send it to creators, and then the deposit is like, what’s the deposit for then? [Max Palmer]: It’s for the creators. That’s the money that goes to the creators. [Dara Ladjevardian]: Oh, the 89 is to you guys and the deposit is for the creators? Correct. So the 89 is just for the access? Yes. And the deposit is the payout. Okay, got it. And then, uh, for what we actually post that is on us. So like we decide what we post and we decide what we want to send the megaphone. [Max Palmer]: Correct. It’s entirely on you. We’ve, we’ve launched a ghostwriting agency to help, um, with, you know, different megaphone users. Um, that’s entirely different product. If you’re interested, I can chat about that, but, uh, but yeah, the, the content is up to you. [Dara Ladjevardian]: Okay, well, that’s good to know. Um, what else should I be asking? [Max Palmer]: There’s no long-term commitment. So you can try this out for a few months, spend a few hundred dollars and give it a go. So that’s important. Yeah, I guess I would just say again, the quality of your content is important. The way we kind of say it is, we’re pouring gasoline on the fire, but you still have to create that fire. And megaphone isn’t going to help Bad content perform well, that’s just the reality. Bad content will never perform well. [Dara Ladjevardian]: Okay, so I would like to try this for a month. [Dara Ladjevardian]: And I am posting a tweet this Friday where I basically created a video clone of my grandpa. I’m going to be like, I brought him back to life and really talk about like the digital mortality aspect of Delphi. And I think that could do really well. So I would like to try this out for a month and then put a big deposit down for Friday. [Max Palmer]: Okay. Yeah. You can sign up directly on the site. [Max Palmer]: I’m wondering which, uh, Yeah. And so when you onboard directly on the site, you’ll be able to choose which, which, you know, categories, niches, you want your posts. [Dara Ladjevardian]: That one is going to be tech community, AI, like perfect, you know, just consumer distribution. Yeah. I think that’ll be a great test. [Dara Ladjevardian]: Cool. Yeah, I think that’ll be a great test for the platform. It’s an interesting tweet. It should go viral if it does well. So I’ll sign up, and then we can go from there. Cool, man. [Max Palmer]: Yeah, and you can shoot us an email if you have any questions. But yeah, we’re excited for you to try it out. [Dara Ladjevardian]: Cool, man. [Max Palmer]: Sounds good. Awesome. All right, thanks. Have a good one. [Dara Ladjevardian]: All right. See you. Bye.
