Two ideas Michael raised, Blake E responded:

1. High-friction onboarding (AGREED - explore for implementation)

Michael: Should new clients go through a deep intake flow to capture voice, like Ruben Lerner’s “I am just a text file” approach? Rationale: reduces ongoing weekly work - clients record one long voice note and the system runs with it.

Blake E: “100% yes.” His other businesses use 15-minute intake forms with dozens of questions. For Megaphone, a 30+ minute intake is fair given client investment. Should include files, photos, etc., plus the kickoff call.

Status: Strong alignment. Not yet decided as a formal product requirement but both principals agreed. No owner or date assigned.

2. “Bully editor” upsell tier (DEFERRED - not ready yet)

Michael: Once the core system proves it sells, upsell ongoing subscription access to a high-bar editor who pushes clients to rewrite, tells it to them straight.

Blake E: Likes it in theory. Main concern: “even editing can be very subjective, hard to build a really great editor with AI that can actually give solid feedback that is worth implementing. A lot of times AI editors can end up being like Grammarly, which in many cases is actually the worst possible tool to use if you want actually good writing.”

Status: Deferred until core system proves itself. No commitment or date.
