Date: 2026-09-09 Source: Michael Houck, #megaphone thread Status: Pending decision - Michael flagged this before Blake’s next recording session
What Michael proposed
Reframe the initial 3-month Megaphone offer as building the “content engine” (or equivalent term) for a company across its most important channels: LinkedIn, X, and newsletters. These three are high-leverage for investors, partners, potential employees, and B2B sales.
The framing benefits:
- A) More deeply integrates Megaphone into the companies we work with (better for retention)
- B) Creates a natural upsell path into company accounts, other execs, employee advocacy structures, and handoffs to other RV vertical businesses
Day-60 decision tree
After spending 60 days building the content machine for the founder(s), the day-60 check-in call decides one of three paths:
- A) Keep rolling with the founder(s)
- B) Expand (company accounts, other execs, team advocacy) - target quarterly or annual agreements
- C) Spend the final 30 days setting up the system to run self-serve for the client going forward
Blake Stewart’s reaction (U08CWJDSTNV)
“Yeah, I like that but want to know more about C so that it isn’t a good offer for them.”
Blake’s concern: Option C (30-day self-serve handoff) should not become an easy exit ramp or a price-attractive alternative to continued engagement. Framing of C needs work so it reads as a fallback, not a feature.
What this affects
- Offer canon in
entities/megaphone/system-definition.mdif adopted - Blake’s upcoming sales recording (planned for day after this thread)
- Studio onboarding flow once framing is locked
Next step
Michael and Blake need to resolve the C-option framing before it gets baked into sales materials. Not yet a decision - this was a pre-recording alignment check.
