Date: 2026-08-10 Channel: megaphone-girlboss Source: Vanessa Cocuzzo (Girlboss POC) to Emma (Rye Valley / Lore)
Signal
Girlboss is migrating their job board from Job Board Fire to Niceboard (niceboard.co) in the next few weeks. Vanessa flagged this to Emma and asked for help thinking through SEO implications: URL structure, redirects, sitemap resubmission, and structured data for job listings.
Significance
- Distinct from the prior Jul 30 SEO spam attack on jobs.girlboss.com (that was about UGC spam pages; this is a platform migration).
- Emma (Lore) is the point of contact for the response.
- Risk: if URL structure changes without proper 301 redirects and sitemap updates, organic rankings for job listing pages could drop. Girlboss is an active Lore SEO client.
- Action: Emma to advise on migration plan and structured-data continuity.
Status
Open - Emma not yet responded as of distill time.
